Welcome to Casa Tranquilo, our haven in the Caribbean! Guests call it “The cutest studio in the region!”

Come explore the east side of the island. Stop on your way to Vieques or Culebra. Bask in the sun on nearby beaches. Use this as a home base to go sailing or snorkeling. Get into the spirit of adventure in a hike in El Yunque.

We have thoughtfully decorated the fully remodeled modern studio with unique amenities to transport you out of the daily hustle and bustle and into a safe and restorative retreat.
The space
It is the perfect location to stay overnight before catching an early morning ferry to the pristine white sands of Flamenco Beach on Culebra, or enjoy the black sandy beaches and wild horses of Vieques. After a fun day on one of the other islands, come back to join us, relive your happy memories, enjoy a hot shower, get cozy in your terrycloth robes, and catch a relaxing night sleep before traveling back home.

While this adorable studio has its own private entrance, high speed internet, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, coffee bar, espresso maker, beach bag and beach towels, games, and grounds for you to enjoy, its location makes it perfectly suited for whatever island adventures strike your fancy.

Our modern luxury remodeled studio is great to unwind. We feel the perfect group size is 2 people.

Is that a cloud you are sleeping on? Nope, it is just a floating king size bed with memory foam pillows, and 800 thread count pure cotton sheets, to assure you a great nights sleep.

Cool off with the mini split air conditioning unit.

Read a book in the cozy swing chair in the afternoon or simply sip your morning espresso on the colorful porch before heading out for your island adventures.

This studio is its own little modern bohemian sanctuary.
Guest access
I will provide the access code for the house the check-in day. You have access to the entire studio suite except the cleaning closet (private). This space is attached to the main house with a locked door between to the two spaces. It is completely private with your own private en suite bathroom and walk in shower.
Other things to note
***We will have two friendly (hypoallergenic) dogs on the property. To maintain a peaceful and stable environment, this property is not suitable for your pets. Be sure to close the gate when you leave the property.

This studio does NOT have a TV. It is meant to be a relaxing getaway to recharge.

We DO have high speed internet if you would like to stream a show on your laptop.

We do NOT have a microwave or refrigerator.

This studio has free parking on the street.

Smoking inside the property is strictly forbidden. Additional fee will be charged for cleaning if you smoke in the property.


Getting around:
We’re located on the east coast, approximately 50 minutes from Luis Muñoz Marin airport. We strongly recommend renting a car. There is an Avis rent-a-car just 3 - 5 minutes from the house.
