2 LIVING AREAS
Cozy, comfortable and relaxing are words that best describe these spaces. You have two areas with comfortable seating where you can gather together in private – the kinds of spaces that you just won’t get in a hotel. So turn on the fireplace, sit back and enjoy some TV, or nestle into a book. Each area offers the ultimate in coziness whatever time of year you visit, and the TVs in each are large, one measuring in at 65”, the other 55”—Netflix anyone?
INDOOR DINING
Located between the living areas, the interior dining space features a circular table with eight seats – plenty of space for everyone to gather to enjoy snacks, meals, or a formal dining occasion. Seasonal place settings are available by request.
THE KITCHEN
The sophisticated design and focus on your comfort continues in the impressive kitchen with its modern appliances and plentiful countertop and cabinet space. Preparing meals in here will be pure pleasure for you, and with a Nespresso coffee maker as part of a coffee bar, you can treat yourself to a refreshing drink as you go along (a few pods will be provided by your hosts to get you started!) As well as all the cookware, plates and cutlery you’d expect, there are also handy things like measuring spoons, a food processor, a crock pot, even Tupperware to give you somewhere to store your leftovers—if there are any!
OUTDOOR AREAS
Off the back of the kitchen is a brand new deck area featuring a sectional and dining table. The bistro lights that illuminate the deck are sure to lure you outside after sundown. It’s a great place to relax after days out, and with a gas BBQ ready to be fired up, it’s the prime place to enjoy great food and conversation too.
IN-HOUSE ENTERTAINMENT
Indoor entertainment includes games for both adults and kids, so take your pick and play on either the indoor or outdoor table. The music is taken care of by the Nest hub and speakers, and you can connect any of your devices to the superfast wi-fi.
4 BEDROOMS, 2.5 BATHROOMS
Take the stairs to the bedrooms – they’re all on the upper floor – and whichever bedroom is yours, you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’re in a boutique hotel. All of the rooms are thoughtfully presented, with beds that are gloriously comfortable. Nectar mattresses, quality linens and blankets, ideal for a great night’s sleep.
The younger guests in your group will be attracted to the room with the bunk beds. That leaves the bedroom with the King bed and ensuite, the one with the Queen and the one with the Double. Maybe don’t make a decision where you sleep until you get here, or get it sorted before you travel. It’s up to you! Evidence of the hosts’ attention to detail can be found in each of the bedrooms – they all have a charging station, so you can keep the battery levels of your devices topped up ready for whatever’s next. And you’ll find quality towels for all guests, including make-up towels.
Also up on this level is the second bathroom which features a bathtub with shower. This, together with the bathroom in the master suite and the half bathroom downstairs means no one need be waiting long when everyone’s getting ready to go out for the day or the evening.
REMOTE WORKING
Chances are someone in your group will have to do a little bit of work during your stay. There are plenty of areas where they can sit with their laptop inside and outside the house. The king bedroom features a dedicated workspace and the whole property is served by fast wifi.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Your hosts do all they can to make kids feel welcome and looked after. There’s a dedicated kids’ bedroom with bunk beds, plus kids’ utensils in the kitchen and all kinds of books to read and games to play, so you won’t hear the dreaded words ‘I’m bored’ when you stay here. The hosts partner with Baby’s Away, so if you have any specific childcare needs, please let your hosts know and these can be arranged before you arrive.
LAUNDRY
Another family-friendly feature is the presence of a washer and dryer that will help ensure your clothing stays clean and fresh throughout your stay.
