ABOUT SWELL B
Casa Swell B is one of two cleverly designed container studios nestled in the sought-after K Section of Playa Guiones. Thoughtfully positioned for privacy, each unit features its own patio facing away from the other. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, this cozy retreat is just a short walk to Baker's Beach at the south end of Playa Guiones. Whether you're seeking a surf getaway or a peaceful jungle escape, Casa Swell B offers a comfortable and convenient stay.

ON THE INSIDE
Casa Swell B maximizes space with a smart, functional layout. The unit features a queen bed in the loft and a Murphy bed (double) on the main level, accommodating up to four guests. The open-concept design includes a well-equipped kitchenette, a cozy sitting area, and a full bathroom. Its twin unit, Casa Swell A, offers the same layout and amenities—if one is unavailable, be sure to check the other for your desired dates.
ON THE OUTSIDE
The property includes a small shared pool, perfect for cooling off after a beach day. Casa Swell B is part of a four-unit container-style development, including Casa Swell A, C, and D. A backup water tank services all four units, ensuring a reliable water supply during the dry season. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are shared with Casa Swell A—guests are kindly asked to be mindful of shared use. Please note: The owner and property manager are not responsible for lost items left unattended in the laundry area.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Set in Playa Guiones' peaceful K Section, Casa Swell B is just a short walk from Baker’s Beach, a lesser-known gem at the southern end of Guiones. This location offers a perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature while still being within reach of Nosara’s best surf breaks, dining spots, and shops.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Construction Notice: There is ongoing construction in the neighborhood, and noise may be present during the morning and afternoon.
Shared Amenities: The pool and laundry facilities are shared among all four Casa Swell units.
Looking for more space? Two additional two-bedroom container units, Casa Swell C and Casa Swell D, are also available on the property.
LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.

Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.

Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.

If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.

While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
