Welcome to our newly constructed luxury tent that sits on 3 tranquil acres nestled in a holler. While this unique space is the perfect private getaway for you and the family, its location makes it easy for you to get around.

You are only:

1 min to Current River

1 min to Mark Twain

5 min to Doniphan

27 min to Ripley Lake

Every aspect of this tent has been thoughtfully constructed to furnish you with all of the creature comforts of home in an outdoor experience.

Is that a cloud you're sleeping on? No silly, that's just our lavish queen-sized memory foam mattress! Drift off into serene bliss to the sounds of hoot owls, whippoorwills, spring peepers, crickets, and many other nighttime critters. If we just had David Attenborough, you'd think you were in an episode of BBC's Planet Earth.

Sure, eating out at great restaurants is super fun, but sometimes we need a home-cooked meal. Our kitchen is stocked with all of the essential utensils and dinnerware to exercise your culinary prowess. Get your Gordon Ramsey on! Just make sure you can do it in a toaster oven or on a propane grill. ;)

The open-concept area includes a queen-sized bed, dresser, propane "fireplace", kitchenette (toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge, sink, and cooking gear), and a futon couch with coffee table.

There is a full-size outdoor shower with hot water. shower basics like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.

Water is available at this location as long as temperatures stay consistently above freezing. We will have to turn the water off to avoid bursting pipes if there is a threat of freezing temps. Please reach out and ask us about this prior to booking if this may be an issue for you.

Glamping fun!

Stayed as a stop on a road trip and was a fun way to get the outdoor experience without having to have the gear. It was rainy and cold but the tent kept us dry and plenty warm with the heaters available. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Very clean. Bed was really comfortable. The heater worked great to keep it comfortable all night. Shower was easy to use. It was great to have a Keurig while camping too!

Such a neat camping experience with many of the conveniences from home. Gas grill, mini refrigerator, Keurig, outdoor shower with HOT water

Remote quiet comfortable stay

The tent was comfortable and well stocked. The location was serene and out of the way. If you need some down time with no cell service I would highly recommend. Be prepared for no shower and a creek bath! Floating the Current River was a real treat!

Nice Glamping Setup

We loved our stay here. The place is very unique and is very appealing if you like to camp without the hassle of setting up the tent and other items that go along with camping. Having a grill and a mini fridge and a sink was great. Not to mention air conditioning. It was a great base camp for a float on the lower current river. We would stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

I’ll be back

Great location, wonderful hosts, and an incredible over all setting. My wife swore off camping years ago and she was hesitant going in to this one, which is why I didn’t tell her until 2 days before. She loved it and is planning the next trip back already. Cute town and grocery store 10 minutes away.

The Current

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience is an understatement. Great place to decompress and recharge the battery! Took my 19 year old son who lets just say doesnt enjoy the outdoors or hot summer days. I can vouch for him in saying he had no idea how much he would enjoy the weekend. Thank you so much for having us. We will be returning in the future if you will have us:)

Great glamping experience

Just an great, cute little spot. Doniphan itself is a fun rural missouri town, with hiking and floating opportunities around The site itself is really nice. Theres a propane heater if it gets cold, that works great, and a portable AC to keep temps low when it gets hot. We had a small hiccup with the shower, but that was fixed quickly and the little insta hot water heater works great. There is no cell service (just down the road alittle there is if you need to call out) so disconnect, listen to the cicadas and owls and relax. Bring stuff to build a fire and make smores. No complaints.
