The Sanctuary at Tamarron Resort (Gambel Oak #732) is our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo featuring a full kitchen and private deck, with views of the Glacier Club’s golf course and unmatched views of the surrounding San Juan Mountains. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

Beautiful condo overlooks the golf course and up to the red cliffs. The king bedroom suite is upstairs in the loft with a TV and full bathroom. Main level has a queen bedroom, second full bath, full kitchen, living and dining areas. Great deck with seating.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).

Very Nice!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always stay for a week but we only get the same supplies as those who stay 2 days ie.one hand towel for a week is probably not really sanitary. The condo supply list should be enlarged for those who stay for a longer period of time.The photos do not depict the new patio furniture nor BBQ grill. The old chairs are now stored on the frontporch in case you need more but please go to Walmart or Home Depot and get a couple more little drink tables for the deck, one certainly is not enough for five folks.The remodel is great! Everything is new.Look forward to returning next year!!

Ski vacation

We had a lovely stay. The pictures do not do it justice as to how great this place it. The kitchen is well stocked and the couches and beds really comfortable. 10 minute drive to purgatory and 20 mins to Durango. Fantastic communication with Vrc company. Will definitely come again. Thank you.

This is an awesome and beautiful condo. The decor and amenities at the resort were amazing. You can’t beat the location back to Durango or Purgatory. Definitely our new go to.

Luxury condo on the golf resort

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful condo. The view was gorgeous overlooking the golf course and we would see turkeys every morning walking the premise. It was a short drive to the mountains and was supplied with everything we needed. We would love to come back again soon!

The property was nice. My only complaint was the dishes seemed they could be run through the dishwasher again. We woudl stay here again.

BEAUTIFUL Stay!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented over 30 vacation properties and this condo was, by far, the most stocked property, as far as: paper towels, bath tissue, washing detergent, etc. Some of the kitchen items were a bit cheap, but they did the trick. We LOVED the bird feeders. The layout was perfect for two couples. The only complaint I have is the check-in process. I would prefer a keyless entry, especially since the lodge is quite far from the condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was such a nice way to spend time in Durango and the surrounding area. The unit was spotless clean and the location is perfect. The only issue was checking in. We received a text saying we were able to check in early anytime after 2 pm. When we tried to check in early the girl at the check in desk was refusing to let us in early. After we called the rental company we were able to get in early. There definitely needs to be better communication between the check in location and the rental company. We would stay here again without question!

Excellent property

This is an absolutely beautiful condo. I wish I knew the interior designer! It's well stocked with everything you need in a spacious kitchen. We could see the Milky Way from the deck at night and it was quiet and peaceful. The pool is a short drive away. One downside was lack of secure wifi access. Good to unplug if you don't have to work!

Purgatory Ski Trip

The place was beautiful and very nice for a family ski trip. The check in process was confusing because we got a text telling us that we would get the door code sent to us at 3:45pm so we could arrive at 4:00pm, as that was our check in time. We did not get a code and had to call the listed assistance number. Then the person that answered told us that we would not get a code and that we needed to go to the club front desk to check in and get our key to the condo. It was confusing and needs better instructions for future guests. The only other suggestion would be to have a book at the condo to explain how everything works, where to take garbage, how to leave the condo on check out day, etc. Oh, and please add Kleenex for guests to use. The location was really handy for daily ski trips and the area was really quiet.
