Stellar Stay for Family and Friends at Beech Mountain

Our family and another family shared this adorable space. Super convenient to Beech Mountain Sledding Hill, town, and ski resort! Kids loved the room with the bunk beds. The place was clean and comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Owners were fantastic — very communicative and accommodating to some of our requests!

Family get away

Our family of six had a wonderful time at The Beech Barn. Location, layout and amenities are great. We had plenty of comfy sleeping space and bathroom access. Although skiing conditions weren’t ideal, we enjoyed playing games and watching movies. The fireplace added that extra touch of coziness.

I was really disappointed. The house is pretty and the location is great but it was not clean at all. Stains on the sheets, the couch smelled of urine and worst of all the dishwasher was broken and had stagnant water in the bottom that smelled horribly throughout the home. Also was charged a HUGE cleaning fee and it We had to clean ourselves before unpacking.was not only not clean, it was nasty.

The property is beautiful, the cleanliness is extreme, the beds are very comfortable, the owners of this property have thought of everything to make their tenants feel comfortable, I arrived before 4 because it was going to snow and I asked the owner if It was possible to enter earlier and she very attentively accepted, the community with her was excellent, I really enjoyed every space on the property, we were a family of 6 adults including my 82 year old mother and we had a great time, despite being 6 people we had privacy in every room, I recommend this property to everyone and I will surely have it among my winter vacation expectations, thanks to its owners for allowing me this wonderful stay

Beech family ski trip

The Beech Barn was exactly what we were looking for in planning our first family ski trip to Beech Mountain . The location was perfect. You are just a few minutes from both Beech Mountain Ski Resort and Fred’s General for groceries. Will was prompt and helpful with any questions we had , and the house was clean , charming and private. Highly recommend and will look to stay there for the next trip to Beech!

Hi, we are from Wilmington, NC. We love living on the coast but are always hunting opportunity to get to the mountains. When we are not wrangling our English Bulldog, Captain around, we are likely on the boat, traveling, or hanging with our friends/family! We enjoy creating spaces for guests to both enjoy and relax. We are grateful for those who choose to stay in one of our properties! Will & Morgan!

We chose Skiway Lane and the Beech Barn because it is in the heart of Beech Mountain. You can get to the slopes within 5 minutes but also be in the heart of town in 3. We simply fell in love with the location + the ability to spend equal time indoor and outdoor with the great porch size. Perfect for entertaining.

- Newly renovated mountain chalet, with open floor plan, makes this the perfect mountain retreat for friends and family.

- Front porch ideal for entertaining and relaxing with outdoor seating, fire pit, grill, and mountain views.

- Open living space has a sofa and four accent chairs for comfortable lounging. Flat Screen Smart TV with YouTube TV provided + other streaming services. Wood burning fire place to compliment you during your stay.

- The kitchen is stocked with all essentials for cooking and a full sized refrigerator. Farm style kitchen table.

- Well stocked with appliances (Stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, waffle maker, crockpot, mixer and washer/dryer)

- Main floor includes (2) Queen Bedrooms : Shared full bathroom.

- Second floor includes (2) Bedrooms : 1 queen bed and (2) bunk beds. 2 and a half baths upstairs.

- High Speed WIFI throughout whole house with smart TV's in downstairs bedrooms and main living room (Youtube TV provided)

- Pet friendly for friendly pets! Please message us for pet approval PRIOR to booking. Non-refundable pet fee of $150 applies. Pets MUST be added to your reservation during the booking process to incorporate the pet fee into the total price. Limit is 2 dogs; no other animals permitted. Please review the house rules for our full pet policy.

- Central Heat. No central AC. (2) AC Wall units downstairs + box fans in each room. Note: Beech Mountain's elevation keeps cooler temperatures year round.

- We supply bed linens & bath towels.

- We also provide enough hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying longer than a couple nights, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal need
