Villa Holgenbach underwent a complete energy-efficiency refurbishment in 2024–2025, transforming it into an energy-efficient home (A+). The penthouse features, amongst other things, triple glazing, high-quality insulation in the walls and roof, a heat pump, solar panels, new radiators and electrically operated roller shutters. The high-quality insulation protects against both heat and cold and, together with the upgraded systems, ensures a high level of comfort in every season. During the renovation, the large terrace was also further enhanced with an attractive canopy.

Spacious living and enjoying time together
The large living room forms the heart of the penthouse and features a comfortable seating area, a large, cosy wood-burning stove and an extra sofa bed. There is also a spacious dining area and a separate dining room. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for extensive cooking and dining together. For larger groups, there is plenty of crockery and an extra-large fridge.

Penthouse Holgenbach has two bedrooms: one spacious bedroom with a large double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed. You’ll also find a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove and sofa bed, a spacious dining area, a separate dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a separate toilet.

Enjoying the outdoors with stunning views
One of the special features of the Holgenbach Penthouse is the spacious terrace of approximately 90 m². Here you’ll find several seating, dining and relaxation areas, a large dining table, a Weber barbecue and a trampoline. Thanks to its favourable position in the sun, the attractive canopy and the unobstructed views, this is a lovely spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, dine together or relax at the end of the day.

From the penthouse, you can walk or cycle straight into the countryside. The cul-de-sac ends after about 300 metres in the countryside, and the Erlebnisfreibad Dieffenbach is also within walking distance.

Schleiden is an ideal base for walking, cycling, mountain biking and exploring the Eifel National Park. Well-known routes such as the Eifelsteig, Wildernistrail and Rur-Olef run through the municipality. Monschau, the Rursee, the Nürburgring, the Vennbahn, Kronenburger See and the Hellenthal Wildlife Park are also within easy reach.
