Beatiful little cottage so close to lake Huron. We were able able to conoe, fish, and swim. Then after we sat around the fire by the cottage and had some great laughs. Very comfortable conditions on the inside. Highly recommend!!
I had a wonderful stay at this charming 3-bedroom cottage! The space was spotless, well-stocked, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the outdoor space was a great bonus. The location was peaceful yet convenient, making it an ideal retreat. The host was responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Iâd highly recommend this place and would love to return!
The neighborhood was very quiet. The cottage very comfortable. It is very close to Lexington so we went there to have lunch at the Wind Jammer. However, we spent most of our time at the cottage playing cards. We really enjoyed having the space heaters where we were playing.
We stayed here for work on the high school. Was very easy to find had everything u could need. Host was easy to talk to and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again when were back in this area for work
This was a great property for us! Clean, quiet, great beds and pillows for a rental. Easy access to walk dot the lake to catch the sunrise. Would definitely stay again.
Our family of 5 had a lovely 4 night stay. The beach was sandy, clean and just a short walk away. The rock hunting and swimming occupied our children for hours every day!! We enjoyed visiting the nearby downtown Lexington restaurants, Bunnyâs frozen custard shop, and the marina and park. The Cozy Grey Cottage was the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were quick to respond to all questions, and check in and out were a breeze.
The cabin was very peaceful and very close to the private beach. The inside was well done with the farmhouse doors and the overall feel was cozy. They had many blankets and pillows and pretty much anything you needed. I recommend staying here if youâre looking to have a nice calming getaway.
We loved our stay! House was super clean, super cute and a minute walk to the water. The owner took the time to out awesome touches in, great mattresses and amazing bedding. We both teleworked and the wifi carried us both perfectly, Teams calls and all! Kitchen had great touches, nice utensils and great space. Weâll stay here again!
My husband and I stayed at the cottage for three nights and it was the perfect little getaway. Beth was wonderful and quick to respond when we had a minor issue working the lock. We loved the location and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood near the water. The cottage was sooo clean! I say this because weâve had not great experiences with some other rentals. It was lovely to feel right at home and enjoy time both outside and in the cozy grey cottage.
Hello! My name is Beth and my husband, Patrick are your hosts.
I am a critical care physician assistant and my husband works in medical research in Metro Detroit. We have 3 amazing boys, Alex, Lukas and Henry and a springer spaniel, Petey.
After the toll that COVID took, we needed a place to get away. I spent many summers at Lakeport State Park as a child. After countless hours of swimming and exploring, it seemed only natural to have a cottage in a place full of all those fond memories. We hope you create the same for your family and come back to enjoy summers here year after year!
We love this cottage most because it's so close to the beach. My second favorite, is relaxing by the fire with a delicious beverage. We choose a design that was modern, yet rustic and calming. It's great for families! The neighborhood is also very friendly.
It's only 4 houses to the beach! There's a private beach with 4 access points right on Lake Huron. We have a huge yard for volleyball or running around. We have 5 bikes (2 adult, 1 teenage size and 2 kid size), corn hole and badminton. It's super close to downtown Lexington, just a 5 min drive.
