The apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom and 1 living room) has been recently refurbished and decorated with natural colors and artifacts from the Inca culture. It's located on the second floor (above ground floor) and quite well-lit.

The kitchen is very spacious and well-equipped: you will be able to cook your meals just like at home! We have oven, stoves, pots, pans and a few useful appliances!

Separated from the kitchen by a bar table, you will find a comfortable living room with a 43" smart TV and a desk with ergonomic chair for those who need to combine pleasure with business! Notice that the Internet is good enough for video-calls and smart working in general! Also, we provide a portable electric heater (convector) to help you keep warm during Cusco's cold nights.

The bathroom has a big shower with glass walls and hot water 24/7 (gas heated) while bedrooms have premium quality mattresses for the utmost comfort. The double bedroom is equipped with a spacious wardrobe, while the single one has a dresser.

And finally, all guests will have access to the panoramic terrace on the 4th floor where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the city and the surrounding mountains.

Our building is easily accessible from the road. You can ask the taxi driver to drop you right in front of our door! No stairs or cobblestone alleys!

Our neighborhood, Lucrepata, is located in Cusco City Centre. It is a safe and quite neighborhood where locals live alongside tourists and travelers.

It is not a commercial area, but you will find quiet a few shops, laundry services, a bakery and the very popular San Blas market (for fresh fruits and vegetables) within a 200 metres radio.

San Blas market is also a place to have delicious breakfasts and lunches at a very convenient price! In addition to the market, you will find, within walking distance, several cafes, bars and restaurants, such as grill (pollerías), vegan, Asian, traditional, pizza and burger restaurants!

We are only 10 minutes on foot from Pl. de Armas, 15 min. from Templo del Sol and 5 min. from Plazoleta San Blas. San Blas market is only 120 m. away. Sacred Valley bus stations are within walking distance and the Limacpampa urban bus stop is 5 minutes away.

A lovely stay in Cusco

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and the hosts were accommodating and hospitable. Overall it was just what we needed. The bed was a bit hard but this was a minor detail overall. Thank you to the hosts for all the information and help they provided, hints and tips were awesome 👌. They were easy to contact and friendly, I would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful Place, a little away from the center.

First off let me say the owners were super essy to reach, checking in everyonce in a while to make sure everything was okay. Responded fast and offerred to help with airport pick up which was nice. The place was beautiful. A 15 minute walk from all the major things. But it is up hill on the way back which gets tiring but also means more quietness. The beds were not that comfortable, quite firm, probably 9/10 firmness. The bathroom was very nice as well. The hot water can be a little tricky to get right, but when you do it is heaven.

Ruinas' location is the best if you want to discover Cusco while staying away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy touristic town. When thinking of our guests, we have 3 priorities in mind:
- Comfort: from our experience as travellers, we tried to make sure Ruinas had everything our guests need to feel comfortable and at home: basic kitchen supplies, clear information pack, Cusco local tips, extra comfortable beds, a portable heater and a warm shower!
- Sustainability: we provide any kind of soap and detergent in re-chargeable dispensers in order to use the least plastic possibile. In addition to that, we have installed a water purifier that makes tap water drinkable! So you don't have to buy so many plastic bottles.
- Hospitality: we want our guests to have the best time while staying at our place! And we don't mind going out of our way make them feel welcome!
