Niché au milieu d'un feuillage tropical luxuriant et des glorieuses collines océaniques de St. John, votre île paradisiaque vous attend. En entrant dans la Villa, vous serez captivé par la grande chambre spacieuse avec son haut plafond et sa vue panoramique spectaculaire sur les Caraïbes. Juste au-delà des grandes portes coulissantes en verre, les visiteurs peuvent se prélasser sur le grand patio du balcon supérieur ou se détendre dans la piscine.

Villa Rendezvous est une maison extraordinaire au bord de l'eau avec climatisation partout et accès direct à la plongée avec tuba depuis la propriété. La grande salle s'ouvre sur une grande terrasse et une piscine surdimensionnée via une série de portes coulissantes en verre. Ces portes peuvent être complètement encastrées, ce qui vous permet de profiter parfaitement de l'espace de vie intérieur et extérieur. C'est le summum de la vie de style caribéen.

Avec un décor élégant partout, une magnifique cuisine haut de gamme, la télévision par câble dans chaque suite et un accès intérieur aux quatre chambres (deux chambres par niveau), il y a peu d'autres villas qui peuvent comparer pour la valeur. Chaque chambre principale est décorée avec goût et luxueusement dans un décor à thème et a sa propre salle de bain entièrement fermée. Les chambres sont accessibles depuis l'intérieur de la villa ou en utilisant les passerelles lumineuses extérieures, et une nouvelle cuisine moderne est parfaite pour se divertir à la villa.

Family Fun is St. John

We had a group of 8 - 4 brothers and their wives. It was fantastic! What a view from the pool deck, common spaces and all of the large en suite bedrooms. Lisa Paoletti, the property manager was very helpful before and during our stay. She gave some great recommendations in terms of a provisioning company to stock our fridge before we arrived and great restaurant suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!

All good but check in was lacking.

We had three groups flying in on Sunday. None of our flights arrived before 2 pm. We had to pull teeth to coordinate our arrival and even get good directions to house. Once we settled in we noticed that the oven would not work. We texted the property mngt. to no avail. The house itself was great (esp the pool)!

Beautiful view

Wonderful stay with a beautiful view. Visited with another family and shared the 4 master suites with out 3 kiddos. The kids stayed in the lower floor bedrooms - which worked out perfectly. The spiral stairs going downstairs were crazy creaky but not an annoyance. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could have needed. The property came with beach chairs some pool floats and plenty of paper products. Loved the space this home provided for both families. The gathering area was perfect inside and out. Lisa, the property manager was very responsive when we reached out about the hot water (takes a while to reach one of the rooms) and the AC unit that was on the fritz. Great experience and again….a beautiful view!

Met our needs well

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Rendezvous. The layout of the house was comfortable. The pool and pool deck were a very good size. Linens, towels and beach towels were plentiful and good quality. Kitchen was well stocked, but could use a new set of pots and pans. Bathrooms are updated and clean, Beds very comfortable. Our only complaint was the noise created when using the spiral stairs. It was impossible to use the stairs when a child was sleeping in the house. Family had to use the outside stairs to get to the lower level rooms once the toddler had gone to bed upstairs. So, we were able to adapt, but it was a bit bothersome. Both stairs have a lockable gate at the top. The owner and property manager were wonderful to work with. Both went out of their was to help make our visit easy and comfortable. We liked the house location. The area was quiet with a lovely ocean view. It was close to Cruz Bay and the bypass road, so you could avoid Cruz Bay traffic when heading to Coral Bay.

Great property!

We had an amazing time. The house has been updated and it actually looked better than the VRBO pictures. It was a great set up for two families. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all pans and utensils that we needed. You can’t access the beach immediately in front of the house, but you can reach the rock beach that is to the East. It’s a short 5 minute walk or you can also drive over there. I’ve stayed in many houses on St. John and this house actually has a functioning driveway that is fairly easy to get in and out of (by St. John standards) and can easily hold 3-4 cars. The pool was a great way to finish off the day after coming in off the beach. The only real minus was the kids brought a soccer ball to kick around on the grass yard…either the picture was taken with a wide angle lense or the jungle growth has encroached on the yard - either way…the yard is now tiny and unusable. A wonderful house and we will be back!

Need work

The view was great, the pool was great, the property manager was wonderful! This is the only reason I give a 3 star review. There are some issues with the home. We were in St. John with my family, 8 people which included two infants. We found when we arrived that the two bedrooms on the lower level did not connect (this is where my daughter's family were supposed to stay). Not only did they not connect but on both sides, you had to go down a spiral staircase that sounded like the boards were all going to break. On one side water from rain leaked through on stairs which could have been very dangerous if my daughter-in-law had not noticed it.The pool was beautiful, but they had this wonderful sliding glass door, in the great room, that completely opened yet the screens did not close plus they were pretty ripped up. The kitchen floor was pretty dirty, so I tried to clean as best I could, (which really wasn't my job). The is for sale (which I did not know) and they wanted to show it while we were there. After discussion with my family, we did let them come. This unit was not worth the money I paid for it, especially the cleaning fee since I did a lot of cleaning.

Thank you for the comments! It is always good to get feedback so that I may address issues I can solve and warn guests about things I cannot solve. Villa Rendezvous has 2 suites downstairs which open on to their own veranda and flat yard. The suites can be accessed in the house via a spiral staircase and from outside via large lit tiled stairs. So, everything is connected, you may have to go outside to go back in, as it is in many St John homes. The roof has a water leak in some places, sometimes and according to where the wind comes. We have been chasing the leaks. It's not a flood situation, a towel usually suffices. The screens are notoriously walked thru by guests, with a glass of wine or two. Most guests close it up and leave the air on 24/7. I have had them adjusted and fixed. The contract has a paragraph stating that, if possible, we would like to show the house. I always give the guest the option. If additional cleaning was needed, I can only hope I get a call so I can rectify the situation. Again, thank you for your comments. We always strive for the best on a small island in the middle of the ocean.

Rendezvous Bay House Review

This house worked well for our family of 5 adults. Lisa, the property manager, was terrific and met us when we arrived on St. John. We followed her to the property in our rental car. Lisa oriented us to the house and provided local recommendations for food and activities. There are 4 large king sized bedrooms with bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Stove is gas. Internet connection was very good on top floor but nonexistent on bottom floor where 2 of the bedrooms were located. Mobile phone and texting were mostly good but there were short periods of time when there was no service. Amenities-washer, dryer, and folding beach chairs. Rendezvous Bay, rocky, not sand beach, is just a short walk or drive. We had the beach to ourselves and snorkeled there on 2 occasions and then over to adjoining sandy beach where visibility was good. Beware of sea urchins whose spines penetrated thru the bottoms of water shoes. The view overlooking the bay and sunset were incredible. But, unable to enjoy the morning and evening natural breezes because the sliding screen doors were busted which prevented us from keeping open the 24 foot sliding glass door/ windows. Unable to keep open due to potential for biting insects and so had to use the much appreciated air conditioning units. Favorite snorkeling beaches were Trunk Bay and Salt Marsh Pond and Maho. The BEST and cheapest place BY FAR to buy food and alcohol is on St Thomas and is a warehouse type place called Cost U Less. They have the cheapest prices for the Tortuga Rum Cakes.

Review #16292400 “Elegant, Beautiful, Child-Friendly, Oceanfront Paradise” Beware---Unresolved maintenance issues results in a sleepless, stressful vacation for us ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge disappointment- Villa Rendezvous needs maintenance, upkeep and attention from the owner or others will suffer the same experience that we did. We had issues from the moment we arrived. The greeter had to call the maintenance man at 8pm the first night to try to get the air conditioners working. Yes, the bedrooms had air conditioners as advertised, but what wasn’t advertised is that they were badly in need of maintenance and three of the four did not function properly. The Island room air conditioner would not cool to a satisfactory level, and had a timer that would periodically shut it off during the night. The owner claimed it did not have a timer, but the remote had a button ‘timer’ on it, which we tried, unsuccessfully to adjust The air conditioner in the bedroom above the island room made such a loud mechanical grating noise that only one person could tolerate it. We had to scrounge through our belongings to find tape to configure the air conditioner in the third bedroom because most of the louvers were either missing or broken so could not be adjusted. -The spiral staircases are extremely noisy and steep. - The villa has a "state of the art" (owner's words) ice maker that doesn’t make ice, nor did the refrigerator ice maker. -One basement bedroom’s shower heads barely trickled water. Occupants had to use another shower. - An additional, and very frustrating aspect of this villa was that the mattress in the ‘Island’ room had lost any form of support it ever had- there was a deep dip in the middle that came from the top, bottom and sides. -The spiral stair steps are extremely noisy and steep. I would not allow any small children or the elderly to have to use them. -The picture on VRBO of the backyard is deceptive. There is an ugly fence along the entire back. - It soon became clear to us that these were not ‘new’ conditions- they had clearly existed for some time, despite the owner claiming he knew nothing about them. The owner faulted the villa management company for not resolving all problems. The facts I have gathered since we have been home lead me to believe the owner was aware of the existing issues. -The owner sent me a check for one nights stay to compensate for our stressful vacation. The money has been given to a local family in need.

Dear Traveler, We appreciate your input and as you know, we made every attempt to satisfy you while you were there including refunding one night stay for your inconvenience and offering you a free future stay. We are in the process of resolving everything including: replacing the ice maker, all of the mattresses, linens, bedspreads, landscaping , shower heads, and noisy spiral staircases. You should know all the air conditioners have been serviced over the last 6 months including replacing compressors, and we will have them all checked again. As you know, our management offered to show you how to program the air conditioners, turn the bed, bring ice and I was told you would not let them accommodate you for reasons I do not understand. However, I do take great exception with some of your comments, especially those where you are suggesting I was not honest with you. Many of the things you reported surprised me since most of issues are indeed the responsibility of our on-island management company or the vendors that are maintaining the property such as our landscaper. We will soon be making the appropriate changes. We've had literally hundreds of happy guests stay at our villa, which can be gleaned by the previous review to yours, written a few weeks before your stay. And we love our villa as many others have. We will be putting a lot of love into it in the coming months. So, once again, we are sorry for your inconveniences and wish you well. .

Beautiful home! Wonderful Stay!

Villa Rendezvous is a beautiful vacation home. It’s location offers scenic views from within the house and out. Very well equipped from it’s stocked kitchen, new bathrooms and comfortable living area. The pool is huge with lots of patio to enjoy. Communication with the property management team and the owner were very prompt and easy to contact. Highly recommend Villa Rendezvous.

Villa Rendezvous

Villa Rendezvous is a beautiful home with a great view in a quiet neighborhood on the South side of St John. The house only recently went back on the rental market after a lenghty rehab from the strom damage in 2017. As a result, the furnishings are new and the place feels new. The management company was responsive for check-in at the car ferry and for minor issues(reset of wifi and a leak in an ac unit). I called Kurt with a question before our trip and he was quite helpful. We travelled as a party of eight and had plenty of room. All the bedroom suites are separate with interior and exterior entrances. Views from every room and huge pool. You can see St Criox. We snorkel a lot and access to the beaches is easy. Klein Bay Beach is an easy walk down the street with great diving (rays, turtles, eels,etc) if you stay around the house. The kitchen has everything that you need for making meals at home. There is AC in every room,sun all day on the deck with shady areas when needed, and covered places to sit by the pool if there's a shower. The recent photos are accurate. This is a nice place!

This villa had the perfect layout for a large group. The beds in each room were extremely comfortable and the views were magnificent. The villa was very clean and provided everything we needed for trips to the beach, cooking and grilling. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to come back.

Awesome vacation home!

The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay while in St John's USVI. We especially enjoyed being able to walk minutes to a beach where we could snorkel. Make sure you wear water shoes it is a rocky beach. Our family visited a different beach everyday to snorkel. One beach was prettier than the next. The sand is like flour...so incredibly soft!!! I'd suggest bringing your own snorkel gear, the house does not have any.

Has Everything You Want in a Vacation Home!

As a family we struggled finding the right place on St. John due to so many non-children friendly homes. This house met almost all of our criteria: view, separate bathrooms for each bedroom, enclosed home, beautiful pool, private and secluded, close enough to Cruz Bay, walking distance to Ocean. The only amenity the house didn't provide was walking distance to a beach as all of the Beaches are on the North Side of the Island versus the South Western side of the island at Rendezvous Bay. Everything that we wanted was met. Everything. I actually asked the family if they would give up this house for a house that was walking distance to the beach and all at the same time said no. Everybody loved the home. Huge home, safe, great entertaining area - as we all hung out in the living area that completely opened up to the outdoor patio and pool. Few minor drawbacks: we ran into a few issues with the house - A/C was not working in one room, a few light switches didn't work, the water was a bit funky to get warm/cold water, and the kitchen sink only had cold water. However, we did make the management company aware of these problems and they were more than accommodating (actually came out to visit multiple times). Additionally, the house was a tad bit outdated, some of the bathroom decor and some had missing tiles. However, as you can see, I'm still giving it a 5 because this in no way affected our stay. I appreciate how easy it was to work with the owner Kurt, the management Company VILA Villas, and our greeter. The stay couldn't have been better and if we could go back next year - we would be staying in the same house.

Better than Expected! Great for families!

I had done a lot of research prior to our trip to St John last November and this home was the only home we all instantly agreed on. In our search, we also discovered that Klein Bay is one of the best snorkeling beaches and a hidden gem! We had a warm welcome on our arrival after a long day of traveling. They brought us to the home and instantly our jaws hit the floor. The home is beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and spacious enough (we traveled with 2 families). The pictures were exactly what we had studied for months prior, the pool was larger than anticipated, and the view...OMG the view!!! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped (and more!), everything was modern an up to date. We very much felt as if we were home away from home. We are already planning our next vacation to Villa Rendezvous!

Amazing Villa

I just have to make a comment about the previous comment from the folks from the Dakotas. I'm not sure what Villa you stayed at but it couldn't have been the same Villa my family and I rented. We were met by the most friendly and helpful young lady and her daughter and they couldn't have been more helpful.The Villa was very clean and everything worked and we as a family had no complaints about any lumpy mattreses or any shower problems.I think people forget that you are in the middle of the Carribean and not in a totally developed Island it's called solitude. So I am telling you that my family says it was the best vacation they have ever had. So if your looking for an amazing Villa with an amazing view this is the place for you.And if we go back we will certainly rent this Villa again

Slice of Paradise

Our trip to St. John as always was exceptional. This home is perched next to the ocean with a nice view and close the Cruz Bay. Home is appointed very well with interesting decor and very comfortable beds. The bedrooms provide privacy for all as they are situated in the corners on the top and bottom levels. The salt water pool was great and always clean. Kitchen works well for large groups. We used the outside steps to access the bottom bedrooms as the spiral staircases down to these bedrooms are tight and noisy for those that are already sleeping or sleeping in. I would highly recommend this property to anyone whom is looking for a home to rent on the island of St. John. One last comment; the management company response and solutions were fantastic.

Great location, clean, great living space and view!

Everything went so smoothly with our rental, it was a great experience! Nyiesha, our greeter, was very easy to find when we arrived and did a great job introducing us to the home and giving some local recommendations. The accommodations were extremely clean and beautiful (spectacular view) and the location was great. INCREDIBLY PERFECT!!

9 of us stayed at end of May .. 6 adults and 3 kids, ages 4,7 11. Perfect! Beautiful villa and view! Room for cars, large pool overlooking the water, amazing rooms - all bedrooms have own full baths. Could not have been better!!! Want to return!

An amazing place to stay!

I can't believe it has taken me so long to write this review given the wonderful time we had on St. John. We were two families traveling together - 4 adults, 5 children (ages 5-13). The house was huge - we could have slept another family easily. All of the bedrooms connected with internal staircases, which was very important to us with small children, and a feature that was actually hard to find on St. John. The views from the house are breathtaking. We spent each morning in the pool, then explored a different beach each day, then returned for another swim in the pool and dinner on the deck. The beach chairs, toys, towels, bags were all in great condition. We had a few incidents with things in the house breaking - the ice maker, one bedroom A/C unit, and the shelving in one bedroom. In each case, the property management company was at the house in less than 30 minutes to fix the problem. They were really friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend this house!

Wonderful and great location

We had 13 people in this house, 9 adults and 4 children. There was never a time where we felt we are on top of each other. There was so much space and privacy. The kids were in the pool pretty much anytime we were on the property. The kitchen was full of amenities -- ice maker was great! We did have a water leak the first day we were there. It was fixed and completely taken care of by the time we got home from dinner. Very responsive management company. I'm not sure you can beat the view. It was a fantastic place to spend Thanksgiving and probably the best view we have had for our Thanksgiving meal. Very much recommend this place especially for large groups and kids.

We, (Kurt, Suzanne, 25-year old Kory, and 19-year old Alek) hail from the suburbs of Philadelphia. We own D4 Creative, an advertising agency (that Suzanne founded in 1990), and we try to spend at least one month a year in our paradise villa. After Irma, it was a nightmare to get the villa back on line. But now that it's back online, you'll relish living in a home that combines elegance with comfort. Kurt, by the way, was a record producer in a previous life, and is now the chief creative officer and president of the agency. Kory is soon on his way to LA to make his music career come to fruition. Alek is is an avid basketball player. He knows every player in the NBA past and present. We invite everyone to share this incredible place with us. St. John is simply magical!

St. John is a small island, (28 miles in perimeter), with a beauty all of it's own. Our property is ideally located to enjoy the whole island easily. Or you can simply stay at the villa. Beautiful vistas of the Caribbean Ocean are seen from every room in the house. We have one of the largest swimming pools on the island, and there is beach access about 100 yards from our home for all the villas to enjoy. (Be careful, wear swim shoes to avoid the sea urchins- big ouch.)
