Boasting sunlit living spaces adorned with seaside colors and decor, this charming home features a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a table for two, and a breakfast bar, making meal prep and dining together a breeze. On lazy afternoons or relaxing evenings in, take a seat on the leather sofa bed in the living area and stream your favorite channels. Outside, enjoy the sunshine and fresh air on one of two furnished balconies, or stroll over to the shared pool for a refreshing dip.

While we liked it some things weren’t great

overall the place was nice and we enjoyed the pool. I came with 9 ppl expecting to be able to use the sleeper sofa and it was broken so we had to go buy an air mattress. The dishwasher was leaking and the fridge. Other than that the stay was nice. The bedroom were good. The kitchen area was a bit smaller than i thought. Overall it was good and i would stay again.

Beautiful condo overlooking the pool. Great location in short walking distance to the beach, restaurants and places to kick back. We are already thinking of returning in 2025. Kelly G

Knew what to expect. Very nice place.

We knew what to expect by reading previous reviews and all were true (freezer handle, seating). The only other issue was the outside light on the first floor was out. Overall, a great place for our stay.

Wonderful location

Loved the location and the pool. Very clean and neat. Short walk to the beach, and a few shops as well. No issues with the rental company or the home.

It worked out

Great location. Vacasa moved us here after there was an issue with the original home we rented. Door handle on freezer was broken off and fridge leaked water into veggie and fruit drawers. Unfortunately, no water view but quite close to the beach! Not enough seating for the six of us to sit and eat dinner together but we made it work.

Disappointed

This unit proved to be very disappointing. The broken freezer that was noted before is still broken and a hazzars to anyone trying to open the door plus is doesn’t adequately freeze. Ice cream thawed. It was very ill equipped from the kitchen supplies to the actual furniture. No way a family could all eat together nor is there enough dishes and silverware. Doesn’t even have a toaster. The owner seriously needs to invest some $$ on to this unit. Vacasa did not respond to requests. Will never stay there again.

All about the location

Freezer door was broken. Was smaller than we thought it would be...very basic...no lamps and chairs were covered with blankets. Would be great if there a few cleaning supplies just to wipe counters. BUT Location is great!

Great location

Great property and location. Walking distance to the beach and several great restaurants and bars. The house was clean and the beds are comfy. Having 3 bathrooms was great! No one had to wait to shower. We definitely would stay here again!

Great Location and Place to Stay!

Loved the location. We were in town for a wedding it this place had just enough room for us all. Loved that it was dog friendly as well. Very clean when we arrived. This house is so cose to the beach. There are great spots like Hang 10 Donuts (morning coffee) and Idle Hour Biergarten (food and live band).Would stay at the Friendly Flamingo again! The only suggestion I would have, is the mattress in the back bedroom on the first floor is very squeaky. It squeaks everytime you move and not that comfortable. But everything else was perfect for our stay!

Great location

We were within walking distance of beach, shopping and restaurants. The private pool for the complex was clean and relaxing. We had a couple of minor issues and mgmt took care of them immediately. This is the second time we have stayed in this complex and had a great time. We'll definately be back.

Terrible service to fix things

Tv was broken our whole stay and no one ever came to fix it. As was the freezer and freezer handle. There was also a dirty bag of linens left at our house- very gross.

Nice home but with faults

This is a cute home for small families to stay in, very easy access to Atlantic Beach. The pool is a definite plus for children! The cleaning of the home however, is under my standards. I sent various pictures of things that bothered me: unswept floors (sand all over), freezer not cleaned out (ice spill and dirt), hair on bathroom floor, used makeup wipes in drawers, unwiped toilet seats, unwiped shower doors, etc. The cleaning staff followed up and corrected most items but it just left a bad impression to begin with. The refrigerators freezer doors are broken - nuisance to open. The check-in process with parking was confusing, at most. Being a first-time renter, I am disappointed in the miscommunication. I would stay again, but in a different home. The staff with vacasa on Atlantic Beach Causeway is not welcoming nor helpful.

Nice location but needs upgrades

We loved the location and the pool in the courtyard. The floorplan worked well for us and the place was very clean. However, I think the furniture needs upgrades, the two sitting chairs had stains all over them, as did the barstools. It needed more kitchen ware as well. Plates and bowls were not microwave safe. We had originally rented this place from the previous owners but it was sold to new owners so the furnishings and description did not meet the original description. We were disappointed by this and let Vacasa know but we did not hear back from them. However Vacasa was very good to get back to us about other things. Keep in mind you will not be dealing directly with an owner.
