Beautiful Dome with Spectacular View in Puerto Rico's Mountains

When you visit Naranjito, one of Boriquén's many enchantments, you will be surprised by how close you are to the metro area while feeling so distant from your daily preoccupations. The panoramic views, our pride, will leave you breathless & feeling that time is standing still. A place to create memories; an adventure, a romantic getaway, an opportunity to disconnect & find yourself. Your days will be spectacular & unforgettable at La Peña 'e Junior.

The property consist of 10 acres. You will be in direct contact with nature & all the original inhabitants of the land; birds, frogs, small lizards & others. This is part of the adventure. If you are not comfortable being so close to our neighbors we recommend an alternative location for your stay.

Enjoy a special experience. Connecting with your companion or the nature surrounding you will always nourish you much more than any amount of Netflix binging ever could. Our firm belief is that a TV, radio or the internet are not needed.

LanDome is for couples only (maximum of two guests according to the registration process. Small pets are welcomed. Parties & unnecessary noises are not permitted.

Your home away from home consists of 3 main areas:
-Fully equipped bathroom in a separate concrete structure. A panoramic window in the shower will allow you to enjoy your hot shower in full contact with the surrounding nature & the views.
-Fully equipped kitchen in another concrete structure. (Gas stove, air fryer oven, refrigerator, cooking equipment & utensils.)
- A climate controlled geodesic dome bedroom with a Queen sized bed where you will go to sleep enjoying the panoramic view & looking at the night sky. If you time your stay right, your room & the view around you will be bathed by the silver light of a full moon.
-Outdoor inflatable jacuzzi.
-The entire structure is built on an raised concrete foundation.

The property has public service utilities, water & electric power. Unfortunately, in Puerto Rico it is not uncommon to have unscheduled interruptions of services that are out of our control & are in no way a reason to cancel the reservation or end your stay early. We recommend that you notify your host in case of an interruption of services.

The weather at La Peña varies during the day. It is above a steep mountain side that drops all the way down to La Plata Lake. The lake-cooled updraft breeze is almost constant with night time temperatures tending to be slightly cooler. For that reason we suggest you pack a sweater or warm shirt for your stay. We also suggest you pack comfortable shoes. We know you won't resist your inner child's urge to go out exploring the land. Rainy days will reward you with serenading Coquis, mystical fogs & dazzling rainbows.

WiFi is not available at the property at the moment.

We can coordinate special activities, events or surprises. Examples include professional massage, flower arrangements delivery, private chef, photographers, etc. Do not wait & let us know your special idea.
