Built on an old Christmas tree farm, our 25 acres has plenty of space to welcome you. Just one mile from Jackson County State ATV/Snowmobile trails with access via ATV road routes. Minutes from downtown Black River Falls, Lake Wazee Rec Park and Castle Mound.

The well-equipped cabin has 2 bedrooms on the main floor each with a queen bed. Main floor also has a full kitchen, bath, living room with full-size pullout and a screened-in porch. The upstairs loft has a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. The lower level has an additional bedroom with a full-size bed. The full bath on the lower level also has a washer and dryer.
The attached 2 car garage can store vehicles and also has access to lower level.

ATV Trails:
ATV's can enter trails directly (no trailer needed) to the Jackson Co. trails which are a mile away via either Dodge Road (west) and Oak Ridge Road (north). Further down Dodge Road to Robinson Creek takes you to see cliffs and rushing waters. You can also kayak/canoe the creek or venture to the Black River for another option.

Black River Falls:
We are about 10 mins from downtown where you will find several restaurants and stores. Sand Creek Brewery has tours and a tasting room. More options range from Mexican to Culvers to a retro ice cream stand.

Great weekend

This property was perfect for our UTV weekend! We were close to trails, had 2 bathrooms to accommodate our group of 8, easy checkin and checkout. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice property. Very roomy for the 8 of us. Very clean. Secluded, but well kept outside surroundings. Black River Falls not too far away with great places to eat.

Perfect cabin in the woods, close to trails. Peaceful and quiet. Very clean, updated place. Owner was easy to work with! We loved everything about it and plan on coming back next summer.

Firefly & Fawn Cabin

Our stay was good and the cabin was depicted appropriately. It is decorated cute The cabin is close to ATV trails. We enjoyed campfires and watching the fireflies. We kicked up several fawns. We had a couple of things that were missed by the cleaning company and the owner responded to those in a timely and appropriate manner.

All that and then some.

Pictures don’t do the property justice. Home was all we needed and more as well. There wasn’t enough time in our days to take advantage of all the property had to offer. Trails are right there along with close food options, if your not planning cooking at the house.

Perfect Place for a Friendly Winter Retreat!

The five of us women-friends had a very enjoyable retreat at Jen’s house this weekend! We liked the quiet, beautiful woods setting; the open-concept, airy modern living and dining areas; the very well-equipped kitchen; comfy beds; generous bathrooms; and the peaceful, uncluttered decor. We appreciated the ample parking, the nearness to a good walking trail at the state park and the convenience to town. We found the house to be an excellent fit for a winter retreat for our group of five women, who drive in from many directions: Twin Cities, Marshfield, Madison and Janesville. Jen was very easy to communicate with, the price was reasonable, the secured key entry worked well, and the place was very clean, up-to-date and uncluttered. Excellent all around!

Less bedroom

This is a beautiful house from location and spacious but the bedroom in basement is very little , we did not use that. The bathroom in basement is not easily accessible as the basement was too cold . The ice maker was not working as the refrigerator is not water connected

Nature at it's Best

Very secluded in a heavily forested area. No traffic noise at all. The only sounds we heard were the variety of bird songs and the breeze through the trees. We saw several deer each day and really enjoyed daily walks along tree-lined roads. The house was even better than expected. Extremely clean, modern, and comfortable. We loved the screen porch and the loft. The owners were a joy to work with. Exceptionally responsive and friendly. It is advertised as having 4 bedrooms, but the one in the basement doesn't have an egress window. As it turned out, we didn't need a fourth bedroom so it wasn't a problem for us. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to get away from it all. Becky T.

cozy spot - good for small families

The house was a great place for us to stay while in the area for a wedding (grandparents, parents & kids). The approach to the property was a bit disappointing as so many trees have been cleared, so the view isn't particularly pretty, but it is SO peaceful out there. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch our first night (love the Adirondack chairs!). Our twins really liked having their own space in the loft. The one downside is the second bath is in the unfinished basement. The bathroom is fine, other than cold due to the location. And the fourth bedroom is in the basement and can't possibly be allowed by code as there are no egress windows. So I'd consider this a three bedroom, two bathroom property. But we really enjoyed our stay and would book it again if we were in the area. (oh, the screen porch seems nice but the timing of our stay seemed to coincide with a lot of bees out and about, so we didn't get to take advantage of that space).

My buddies and I had a great time here! We had several bonfires, took in the stars, went to Lake Wazee, and tubed down the Black River through Lost Falls! 10/10 would book again.

Amazing Experience

Location is perfect. Beautiful yard with lots of room for parking and outside activities. Cabin spacious with lots of extras. Jen is very easy to work with. Quick response to any messages sent. Would recommend and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful house and location

We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and peaceful but really nice to be able to have the trails nearby. Beds were comfortable, house was well stocked with everything we needed and more, grounds were beautiful including the wildlife.

ATVing in Wisconsin with family.

We really enjoyed the house, it was great. Also, very close to the trails from the house so we could drive there on the ATV's. Also, the house is about 10 minutes from Black River Falls where they have food and shopping. We thought this house was ideal for the entire family and will not hesitate to stay again on our next trip.

ATV Family Getaway

We had 4 adults and 2 children in our group. The house fit us perfectly! It is located on a large lot down a dead-end road. Trees surround the property and it was fun to watch the wildlife. The house was very clean and has new appliances. We were able to put our ATV's in the locked garage at night. The atv trail was just down the road, so it was nice that we didn't have to trailer them. They have plenty of room for trucks and trailers on the property. I highly recommend staying at this property if you are in the Black River Falls area! Jen is wonderful to work with.
