Exceptional stay in Tamarindo

We had a wonderful time traveling with friends and family. Amenities were fantastic. It did rain practically the whole time so that was a huge bummer and there is no hot tub, but other than that, we would absolutely come back again!

Amazing Home!

We had rented four large homes in Tamarindo for a group gathering. This home by far had the best layout and the onsite staff were amazing. Everything was perfect!

Dream Vacation!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and it was a vacation to remember forever. Besides the amazing town, culture and people of Tamarindo our vacation was filled with adventure and excursions. The house was exceptional on every level and exceeded our expectations. Our concierge Jenny, and the property Jose were amazing!! I highly highly recommend this property.

Perfect Pura Vida!

11 of us, ranging in age from 81 to 17, came from Colorado, Minnesota and Chicago … for a family gathering. It was a big trip to organize but with Mona and Justin’s help, it was absolutely amazing! We surfed, snorkeled, boated and spent time at the pool … could not have asked for a better place to spend our holiday!!!

Stunning property home away from home

We had an amazing week in Costa Rica. The home is spectacular and has all of the comforts of home. Justin was a great host and super responsive to all of our needs. The house is exactly as you see the listing. Would definitely recommend it!

Terrific Property

Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. From arranging everything Mona was very helpful, Maria led the cleaning staff and was helpful in every way possible if there was an issue within the house Jose was always there to assist. We were there as a family and the house was what really made our vacation. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to stay there, and also to all the staff who made our stay very memorable, I've stayed in many nice spots but I don't think we will ever forget this one!

Fantastic Property

We were a group of 3 kids (ages 2 - 12) and four adults (ages 25 - 70). The property was "treehouse-like" in the words of a few folks in our party. The house was clean and up-to-date with everything we needed for mealtime. The feel was very open and it has a fantastic sunset view over Tamarindo Bay. It is possible to walk to town from the property but only if you're in good hiking shape - the road is very rough. Would definitely go back.

Family time in an amazing retreat

Our two families loved, loved, loved the home! The staff was excellent; sweet and very accommodating. And the home proved to be a fantastic spot where we could either lounge lazily by the pool or take a short walk down the hill to surfing and great food. I’ll even add that it’s hard to please even one teen, but we made 4 of the them super-happy. Everyone had plenty of space but also loved the outside seating area for hanging out or playing some games late into the night. Justin is an excellent host and was very responsive to all of our questions/needs before and during the trip. Many thanks for another successful CR trip!

Beautiful Property!!

We really enjoyed staying at Angel Del Mar! The property and grounds were stunning! The onsite property manager and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly! The accommodations were perfect for our group of 11. Jenny, the property concierge was very resourceful and found great activities and drivers for our trip. The only thing I would say could be added is a 6 passenger golf cart. A lot of properties in the states have golf carts included in your rental. They seem to be pretty popular in Costa Rica and we were not informed that they boom quickly and it could not be rented upon arrival. We ended up getting a referral for a local car rental company so in the end, it worked out. Overall an incredible stay!!

My family of 8 just returned from the most AMAZING vacation at Angel Del Mar. The villa is heavenly. Between its incredible architecture that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, the stunning infinity pool with the most colorful sunsets imaginable, to its kind and attentive staff. This home is immaculate, very safe and in the most perfect location. Perched high on a lush hill overlooking Tamarindo and its famous beach with the sounds of birds and howler monkeys in the background, you are truly in your own magical paradise. Just a 2min golf cart ride to town, beaches, shops, grocery stores and fab restaurants (and the list goes on). I cannot say enough about this property. It is even more extraordinary in person, pics do not give it justice. Justin, my family and I cannot thank you enough for being so responsive and sharing your wonderful home with us!!
