Villa de 3CH, piscine chauffée, accès privé à la mer & jardin luxuriant

Bienvenue dans l'incroyable et calme Baie de Cul-de-Sac, réserve naturelle dans laquelle cohabitent tortues, raies, pélicans, et vacanciers heureux de se promener en kayak sur le célèbre banc de sable, si peu profond que vous pourrez "marcher sur l'eau".

La Villa Côté Mer, rénovée et re-décorée en 2020 (photos à jour, datant de Septembre 2020), est une grande et luxueuse villa, située dans les Terrasses de Cul-de-Sac, et offrant un accès privé au bord de mer, où des kayaks (privés) sont à votre disposition.
Notre propriété et notre jardin sont d'une taille généreuse, équivalente à celle d'une maison de 5 chambres, ce qui la rend plus grande qu'une villa "standard" de 3 chambres.

En face de la villa se trouve l'ilet Pinel, avec deux restaurants, une grande plage et des chemins de randonnée autour de l'ilet.

Villa Côté Mer est composée de 3 chambres, avec chacune dotée de sa propre salle de bain complète, une grande cuisine ouverte sur la salle à manger et le salon, un salon extérieur, une terrasse avec piscine, et un jardin tropical.

La villa a été construite et équipée aux normes d'accès PMR pour personnes à mobilité réduite ou en situation de handicap.

Au départ de la Villa, vous pouvez faire du kayak, du snorkeling, du kite-surf (cours disponibles sur place) et de la nage.

A quelques minutes en voiture, vous trouverez un grand Supermarché, une boulangerie, des boutiques et restaurants, ainsi que d'autres plages (Baie Orientale, Grand-Case, Anse Marcel, Friar's Bay, Happy Bay, Galion et plus encore !).

De nombreuses activités peuvent être organisées, avec l'assistance de Melissa (Concierge de la villa - service à réserver en plus) : sorties bateau, plongée sous-marine, randonnées, tyroliennes, sorties à cheval, sports nautiques, etc.

Des services supplémentaires peuvent être organisés à domicile: Chef Privé, livraisons de petit-déjeuner et déjeuners, massages, cours de yoga, et plus encore !

The home had everything we needed. A pack and play was set up and ready for use for our toddler and even had a baby book and stuffed animal for him. The pool was perfect and they set up a safety fence for us since we had small children. We were welcomed upon arrival and had a few welcome snacks and drinks.

Excellent way to celebrate my 50th!

The house and location were great... loved having the private pool. Access to the kayaks were awesome - just wished I had more time on the island. The house was a little hot upstairs at night, but we survived.

Yes the A/C upstair was missing a bit of gas, reason why you could not cool the room as much as you wished, too bad you did not tell me, it was a 5 mn intervention, it came back to full power now -:). Great all around

Lovely place, very comfy, great location. Nina, the property manager, is very responsive to any issue or requests. We loved taking the kayaks to pinel and the cool sandbar in the channel. Only issue is lots of seaweed on the beach; they're trying to mitigate it w a gate but unfortunately nature is tough adversary.

Great location and very nice villa

The location was perfect- our 1st time on the French side. We kayaked everyday to Pinel Island. Loved that there is a great sandbar in the middle so we could take a break from rowing and swim around there. Can also stop off at a little beach on a small island in the middle called Little Clef. The open floor plan was perfect for our family. Audrey the property manager was wonderful as well- friendly and extremely responsive. We have rented many homes on a few different islands, and this home and location was one of our top picks. Highly recommend.

Paradise SXM

I rented the Villa Cote Mer for a family gathering, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The villa and garden are actually bigger than it seemed on the pictures, it was a pleasant surprise. We used the kayaks every day, and also went snorkeling in the bay (we spotted many turtles!). The snorkeling equipment and kayaks are provided, and we could access the water right from the bottom of the villa, which was very convenient. The location was actually really ideal, since it was very quiet, but also only a couple of miles from main attractions and shops. The bedrooms are perfect for a family, or for 3 couples, but we were actually 7 and Nina was able to add a single bed in one of the rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we used the outdoor grill almost every day. I highly recommend taking any and all of Nina's recommendations - she knows all the right places and activities - all of them were fantastic. The linen, towels, beach towels, and all equipment were perfect and seemed brand new. The house was impeccable, and the housekeeping team very friendly. The whole villa's team is very professional, and responds quick, if not instantly, to any requests. We will be back next year!

Vacances idylliques

L'organisation de l'accueil - voiture de location et villa - était parfaite, ce qui est très agréable quand on a un certain nombre d'heures de vol dans les pattes ! La villa, sa situation dans le plus chouette endroit sécurisé de l'île, les aménagements, la déco, la piscine, la proximité de l'îlet Pinel, etc. font que le cadre de nos vacances était parfait ! Les ++ perso : l'intimité du lieu, la découverte d'une plage de rêve déserte (oui !), aller en kayak déguster un filet de mahi-mahi, les pieds sur du sable blanc et dans une eau à 28 °C. Un séjour inoubliable et des images splendides gravées dans notre mémoire. Un conseil : dans la mesure du possible, il y a lieu d'opter pour un véhicule 4x4, les voies de communication sont vraiment en mauvais état. Olivier et Claudine

Séjour très agréable, à refaire!

La villa " Côté Mer " se trouve dans un quartier tranquille, près d'une plage, face à l'îlet Pinel. Nous avons été très satisfaits de l'accueil: Mickael, de " Banana Location", nous a conduits à la villa où Audrey, charmante manager nous a fait visiter les lieux. Elle nous a donné des des informations pratiques: localisation des commerces les plus proches, banques, restaurants, jours de marchés, sites à visiter... Les lieux étaient impeccables, et conformes en tous points à l'annonce: chambres et séjour spacieux, espace piscine-deck idéal pour le farniente.Nous y étions si bien que nous ne sommes pas beaucoup sortis. La villa est fort bien équipée en ce qui concerne la vaisselle, l'électroménager, le mobilier.Nous avons aimé le le standing et le confort. Un bon point pour la literie! Nos activités de prédilection ont été les traversées à l'îlet avec les kayaks mis à disposition; le bain y est très agréable. Nous avons visité l'île, découvert des restaurants, et fait du shopping en duty free. Nous recommandons 3 restaurants: le Tropicana à la Marina de Marigot, le Ma Ti Beach à Baie Nettlé (superbe vue sur la mer), le Basilico à Maho. En conclusion, nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour Saint Martin en général, et la villa Coté Mer en particulier!

Absolutely wonderful villa!!

Property manager, Nina, is very attentive & helpful. She will help with any issues and even arranged a private nurse to come to the villa for our pre departure COVID testing. The villa is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well stocked with what you need. Exactly as shown in the photos. We loved the pool & outside living area. Our little dog was safe inside the secure fenced in yard. The neighborhood is gated, quiet & safe. We would definitely stay at Villa Cote Mer again!! This villa is deep in the French side so English is the second language in this area (but everyone does speak English too) & everything at the grocery store is labeled in French so interesting experience shopping 🛒

Best Villa Ever

I don't know where to begin. My family had the best holiday ever. Dominique, Audrey, and even Michael who Dominique suggested for the car rental were all amazing! The villa is so clean, incredible views, very safe, and loved the location. We travel around the world, and have very high standards, and I could not recommend this villa enough. A beautiful Paradise

Everything was wonderful! I traveled with my two young adult daughters and felt very safe as a single mother staying here. This was our 2nd trip to St. Martin and Dominue and Henri's property was wonderful! Elvis of Bananalocation rental cars met us at the airport and he drove us to the property. It is a gorgeous gated community sitting on the cul de sac overlooking picturesque views of blue waters, boats and Pinel Island. Audrey is wonderful and a wealth of information. She greeted us at the house and showed us all the essentials. Fred the pool guy was also great to chat with as he also knows the island very well and was full of ideas! We snorkeled at all the beaches but did not take a special snorkeling trip this time. Previously, we took Capt. Alan's and that was not bad. But you can find some areas off Pinel and Friar's beach too. Orient beach and Pinel are still our favorite beaches to sun and visit! Kayaks are available and we used them several times. My only frustration was where you launch the kayaks, there is no way to get your kayak in the water unless you step in mushy wet, pungent weeds along the shoreline. But once you get out on the water, it is gorgeous! We had breakfast & coffee by the pool in the mornings, then took off to a different area every day: Orient Beach, Pinel Island, Friar's beach, Grand Case, shopping in Phillipsburg and Marigot. We ate late lunch out every day at a different restaurant/lolo/bar. Spent our evenings back for the sunsets off to our left, and chilled wine poolside.Cocci Market is a small but well stock grocery a few blocks away. Villa Pizza is very close by, every thing is awesome and we ordered take out two nights there. Pinel Bars good drinks and food, Grand Case: Le Temps des Cerises for continental/American brunch one day, the lolos (I would recommend lunch there, shrimp skewers great but Marlin fish was dry), don't miss Salsa night as Calmos Café Thursday night! It gets packed so get a table early. Drinks and live salsa music was awesome!! Also, if you go out on the beach right behind the Lolos in Grand Case, you can get sea glass by the mobs. My daughters and I discovered this spot eight years ago, and this time we got plastic bags full in an hour of beach combing. Stop by Ma Dou Dou's as you will see her flavored Rhum bottles for sale all over the island. But go to her Rum shack just inside the gate in the cul de sac to buy your Rum gifts to take back home! Mon favorite is Mojito! Bon voyage!

Thank you so much Holland for this very kind review! We are very happy you appreciated our place as much as we do! You had very active vacations with all the spots you have been through! You could also snorkel directly from our water access to little Key, as it is where Captain Alan comes for his snorkeling tours. Regarding the seaweed the beach is usualy clean every friday and when you came it had not been done for 2 weeks as the guy who is on charge was sick, and this happened at the same time that we had unusual amont of weed coming..You also have the option to launch the kayaks using the little adjacent wooden pier which takes you straight to clear water. This were not normal conditions ...Hope to see you back quick !

Quaint, clean and well maintained house located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Great views !

My family of 4 adults rented a car at the airport and were given driving directions prior that helped us get to to the villa in 25 minutes. The Villa is located in a gated community with two designated parking spaces. There are 10 steps down to the front door. Audrey, manager, met us on our arrival and gave us a quick tour and instructions. Audrey was very friendly and provided a great deal of information regarding shopping, restaurants and activities to do during our stay. The Villa has two nice sized bedrooms on the first floor along with the living room, kitchen, and eating area. There is a half bath along with a full bath and another bedroom upstairs. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit. There are no air-conditioning units in the kitchen or living room. We were able to cool the house using the units in the bedrooms. Another air conditioning unit would be very helpful in the kitchen/living room area. The upstairs bedroom did have a view, but it was very warm. The view of the bay from the living room/kitchen is spectacular and relaxing. The pool was nice to have in the afternoon, after a day of sightseeing, and the outdoor shower was an added benefit. The Villa's kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils, dishes and pans we needed to make meals. It also has a very nice sized refrigerator and a Nespresso machine that we enjoyed. There was a small grocery store less than five minutes by car as well as a very large American style grocery store in Marigot, about 15 minutes by car. Grand case, which had fantastic restaurants and bakery( we visited each morning for fresh baguettes, croissants and pastries) was a 10 minute drive. The drive to Orient Beach was less than 10 minutes and traveling to other beaches was convenient as the island is not too big and getting lost was never an issue as all streets were well marked. The kayaks and paddles that are available for use at the Villa, do show some age and the paddles weren't in the best of repair but we did have a blast on our trips to Pinel island spotting a few sea turtles along the way. A great surprise were the four beach chairs that were available for beach use. Getting the kayaks into the water was not pleasant, too much seaweed that stunk. I came prepared for mosquitoes, luckily there were not many. Our last night at the Villa we purchased Villa Pizza , we were very upset, it was one of the best meals we had. It is located a short drive from the Villa. We would stay again

Update in 2023, since the villa was destroyed and then completely rebuilt in 2019: There is a ramp going from the parking lot to the villa, and the villa is fully equipped for handicapped access. The villa is only on ground floor, no first floor anymore. All 3 bedrooms have full ensuite bathrooms. All the rooms of the villa (bedrooms, kitchen and living room), have powerful air conditioning units, and optic fiber wifi. A big supermarket was built in 2018, at 1 mile / 2 km from the Villa. The kayaks and paddles were changed, and are now in great condition. There is no issue of seaweed in the residence anymore, since a seaweed fence was built 2 years ago. Manager Nina is available to answer any questions about the property :).

Magical upscale sea view villa in private area

For our first ever vacation on Saint Martin, we lucked out by finding this luxury villa in a gorgeous private setting, only steps from the beach! Everything was perfect from the private pool, sumptuous bedrooms and palm treed gardens. Both the owners and manager made the whole experience convenient, stress free and completely relaxing. This is Paradise Found, as a reasonable price. Highly recommended! Close family.

The house is lovely, and in an ideal setting...

Everything was wonderful, really very wonderful. Audrey was simply tremendous and helped guide me through the crazy problem my wife was having when we arrived. Her husband even helped out by supplying a transformer! Needless to say I am very grateful for their patience and persistence and without her help our stay would have been cut short almost immediately. The house is lovely, and in an ideal setting (it is impossible not to stress this enough), and not much more can be asked for. We easily navigated all of the amenities and had a really easy transition from the airport to the house by way of Banana (thank you again for that recommendation).

Our stay at Villa de Mer was amazing!

The villa itself was immaculate. The view of Pinel Bay is amazing to wake up to every morning, and the villa has telescoping glass doors that allow you to open up the entire 1st floor of the house to the deck and pool area, and take in the fresh air and ocean breeze. The kitchen had everything you could need - an espresso maker, convection over, stove top, microwave, and a large refrigerator and freezer to make your own meals. The bedrooms were also a nice size, and the beds very comfortable. There is a walkway just a short walk from the house that leads you to Pinel Bay, where there are two double kayaks available for you to use. We spent a few days of our trip taking the kayaks out to the beach on Pinel Island, exploring Pinel Bay, and you could also take them to Orient Beach when the water is calm. We rented the house with another couple, and everyone was extremely pleased with how it turned out. The caretaker of the house, Audrey, was extremely nice. She gave us an overview of all of the appliances, some insight into different things to do on the island, and they even left us some wine and beer for our stay!! In addition, I ended up leaving one of my watches at the house the day we left to return to the US, and they were willing to go out of their way to ship it back to me. I truly cannot say enough good things about the house, or the owners. It was a great vacation, and we will look to stay here again if we return to St. Martin.

Beautiful Rental, 5 star vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation in St Marteen. The house was beautiful and very clean. Had mamy wonderful amenities and is located in a quiet gated community. This villa was a perfect destination for my family. The location to resturants and beaches was 5-10 min drive. The care taker of the house was very friendly and willing to help us with any questions we had. Definitely recommend this property!

Perfect location for this very nice villa, a lot of personality in a " close to the water" design, wooden house by the ocean, but with all the comfort and equipment you can imagine. Everything so easy and well maintained. The view on the water is great, and the community is extremely quiet and peaceful. The bay of Cul de Sac is wonderful to be explored by kayak, a lot of birds, good snorkeling close by, and at the end a delicious mojito frozen at the Karibuni on Pinel Island ( a must !)

Amazing Villa

My husband and I stayed here recently with 2 other couples for two weeks. We loved the villa! The kitchen was very well stocked, which in important to us because we all love to cook. Our favorite thing about the villa was how the whole front of the house opened up, so even when you were inside, you felt like you were actually outside. The view was gorgeous as well, and the neighborhood was quite and private. The location was also perfect. Very close to many beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were and how we slept so well there. The villa was very clean and had everything you would ever need. Spent a lot of time sitting in the bean bags by the pool! Audrey, who welcomed us when we arrived and saw us off when we departed, was great. She was available anytime we needed her and took care of all of our needs. Fred, the "pool guy", was fantastic and full of information on places to go and things to do. Overall, I would rate this villa one of the best, if not the best, that we have stayed in. Loved everything about it!!

Perfect for the family.

Dominique, the owner, was very accommodating. Audrey who greeted us at the villa, was very helpful and informative. We appreciate that their English was better then our French (which is none). The accommodations were as published, which were amazing. A gorgeous view that was way better then the units closer to the water (and most likely quieter). The beach is a boat launch area and not much of a sand beach, but the whole bay is gentle an shallow, so any activity in the bay area will be in mostly calm water no deeper than 5 feet. The 7 of us (5 adults, 2 teenagers) had a magnificent stay. Plenty of room and an amazing pool with view. The location is perfect for a low stress vacation. Near Pinel Island (gorgeous), short driving distance to Orient and Anse Marcel beach. The highlight of Cul de Sac, besides the quietness, is the local restaurants. Nothing but magnificent food at all the places we visited. We highly recommend Villa Pizza for your quick food fix. For true culinary experience, Le Grain de Poivre and Jam Rock, both tickled our palettes. The owners of Le Grain de Poivre were spectacular hosts, and made us want to move to St. Martin. If we could blame Dominique for anything, it would be the weather. We did have rain showers most of the week we were there. Otherwise, the property was fantastic. Would rent this location again in a heartbeat.

Island Escape

We spent a week in this wonderful villa this January. We had 3 couples, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We spent a lot of time on the deck and lounging around the pool. The proximity to Pinel Island is a huge plus. 4 of us took kayaks to the island, and 2 took the ferry. Either way worked great, and the beach is magnificent. Well worth the trip! Just wish we would have gone earlier in the week so we could have gone back again! Audrey was magnificent, and walked us through everything during the check-in process. It is somewhat difficult to find the first time (especially in the dark), but the owners recommend a car rental company that will bring you to the villa (we just used a different option). Would love to stay at this location again if/when we return to St. Martin.
