The three of us—my daughter, my wife, and I—live aboard a sailboat we found under the Sardinian sun in July 2021. Since then, our lives have unfolded to the rhythm of the waves: the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Caribbean with its dreamy waters. We make long stops, stopovers that smell of salt and promise, so our daughter can go to school and we can work, lulled by the gentle rocking of the boat.

I had a house in Belgium, but the call of the horizon was stronger: when Villa Ti Paradis was offered to me, I didn't hesitate. The Creole house is a poem of light—a fragrant garden, a pool that shimmers like a small celestial lake—a refuge where we recharge our souls between voyages. The village captivated us from the very first step, its narrow streets, its faces, this gentle way of life that seems to suspend time. A little anecdote: the first time my wife came, she simply said she wanted to stay. For her, that was enough — and we too knew that we had found a home that was both grounded and free.
