At 1700 square feet, this breezy two-bedroom two-and-a-half-bath condo is in the ideal spot for guests who want to experience all of what the wonderful island of St. Croix has to offer!

Over a morning cup of coffee, you can gaze over Christiansted's historic 18th-century architecture, nestled between the ocean and the hillside. Whether you choose to sway in the hammock on the master bedroom's patio or step out onto the main-floor balcony, you will love getting to watch the seaplanes as they take off and land, listen as the falcons cry overhead, and feel the first rays of sunlight as they sweep down into the valley below!

While the kitchen is stocked with all the cooking essentials you might ever need, (and grocery stores like Plaza Extra East and Cost-U-Less are super close), it's difficult to pass up the opportunity to grab food in town. A short six-minute drive takes you directly to downtown Christiansted, where dozens of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops line a charming boardwalk overlooking the glittering Atlantic Ocean.

(Tip: Be sure not to miss Fort Christiansvaern- this free, historic fortress-turned museum has real cannons and other fascinating artifacts!)

Back at Hilltop Haven, you can grab a towel and a floatie and dive into the pool for a bit of sun, shade, and swimming! Only steps from the front door, it's the perfect spot for a mid-day moment of relaxation.

If you're looking for a beachier afternoon, a seven-minute drive south takes you to one of the best beaches on the island- Hay Penny Beach. Slightly off the radar and out of the way from resorts, hotels, and cruise ships, this romantic beach is never crowded and offers soft sand, calm waters, and absolutely breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. It's St. Croix's best-kept secret!

To the west, you can easily hop over to Leatherback Brewing Company, where you can sip some excellent island-made beers while kids play cornhole in the sunshine. And just north of Leatherback, you can fly over the rainforest at Carambola Zip Line!

With a smart TV, old-school-cool Nintendo consoles, and board games galore, an early night back at Hilltop Haven won't ever be a disappointment. You have to see the sparkling lights of Christiansted harbor as the stars come out- it's incredible!

But if you're craving more adventure, the most eastern point of the United States, Point Udall, is totally doable in time for dinner, (or in time for a fabulously fun night at the Divi Carina Bay Casino).

St. Croix is the largest of the Virgin Islands, with plenty to see, eat, and do! Because Hilltop Haven is almost exactly mid-island, a schedule full of sightseeing and excursions is no problem at all, and you don't have to sacrifice great views in return!
