Unique location to enjoy a vacation. Our charming Spanish Style home is in the heart of historic Seminole Park The surrounding neighborhood built along the Caloosahatchee River with 100 year old homes and majestic royal palms planted by Thomas Edison himself is a treasure for morning walks, sunsets at the river bank, or simply a view to enjoy from the front porch. Fantastic location to reach local hot spots. Downtown Fort Myers is an 8 minute drive and walkable as well with the Edison and Ford gardens and museum on the way into town. Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel are due south down McGregor and reachable in 20 to 25 min.
The house is a work of art. The original hardwood flooring is striking. Oak in the living and dining rooms and Dade county pine in the bedrooms and hallways. The family room features a western red cedar planked ceiling and lets out to two separate outdoor spaces -- the inner courtyard and the rear patio. The kitchen is a long spacious galley connecting the front of the house to the family room addition. The covered front porch is a great spot to sit and watch walkers, golf carts and McGregor boulevard in the distance.
