ABOUT THE HOME

At the end of a fun-filled day, your sunny living room offers a spacious and comfortable spot for everyone to convene. Settle in on the sofa, love seat, or armchair and challenge your crew to a gaming tournament on the X-box. Or choose a DVD and unwind with a movie on the 65” flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player.

The updated kitchen offers views of Mobile Bay. Craft a feast everyone will remember and then gather at the six-person dining table. In the morning, use the Keurig machine and enjoy coffee at the bar with seating for three.

After an exciting day, you’ll sleep soundly in the king bed of your master suite. Watch a late-night show on the 42” flat-screen TV. The en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

The second bedroom has a full-size bed, a twin-over-full bunk, and a 42” flat-screen TV. The third bedroom has two full-size beds and a 42” flat-screen TV. The guest bathroom across the hall has a tub/shower combination.

Your home sits right on the water at Mobile Bay, just a block from the beach. Go fishing or crabbing off your own dock. Bring kayaks or jet skis and make use of your own dock. The Mobile Bay Marina is just a mile up the road and offers a nice spot to dock bigger boats.

Explore history at nearby Fort Morgan (3 miles) and then settle in for a casual meal at Tacky Jacks on the Bay (1 mile).

For even more dining and entertainment options, you’re just 20 miles from the heart of Gulf Shores. Bahama Bob’s Beach Side Café is a casual spot offering spirits and seafood and The Hangout offers live music and Gulf Coast favorites. Other attractions include Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and The Wharf—an outdoor shopping center with rides, mini golf, and a marina.

Best Experience

This my family’s first time taken a vacation and getting a beach house and it was the best experience we have ever had! It was so good if get this same house again I loved it so much. Walking distance from the beach was the best part.

House was beautiful. Ft Morgan is beautiful water is beautiful. Just wish I had more time we wound up getting sick and only got one day out of House. Nothing to do with accommodations. Place is great

Vacasa was very good to work with and addressed our needs promptly.

We love going to this home and enjoy the pool and the limited view of Mobile Bay. Just a nice distanced walk to the beach. Kitchen is well equipped with nice dishes, pans and small appliances. Bedrooms are nice in size. Nice TV’s in bedrooms and living area. Love having sheets and towels provided. Home was very clean upon our arrival!

Will stay again.

This was a great short trip for our family. The weather was to bit to cool during our stay, but we still enjoyed the pool it was perfect for a little relaxing time. The pier out back for perfect for fishing and our kids loved catching hermit crabs and we watched other crabs in the water. The house was very cleaned and well stocked for our stay. The beach was about a 4-5 walk away and we just carried our stuff there and back with no problems. Our next trip we plan to bring our kayaks and launch them from the pier out back.

Perfect Getaway

This place was great! Bay access in the back and an easy walk to a not so busy beach area. Beds were comfortable, plenty to do inside and out. Private pool was a huge plus for our group. If you’ve got more than 6 guests, bring towels for bathrooms and stock up on paper products.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful week! The house was just as described. Just a few things like there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper. There were only 8 towels and the place sleeps 11. Also the fence going around the pool was about to fall down. We had a wonderful week.

The house was clean and nicely furnished.

My recommendations would be that they (1) turn up the water heater past lukewarm (2) switch the door around so you weren’t crowded on the narrow 2nd story walkway trying to get in the door with all your parcels each time (3) have more than 2 rolls of toilet paper in a bathroom for a house with 11 people (4) have more than 2 rolls of paper towels for the same reason (5) the outdoor shower was wired shut and inaccessible which is fine, as long as you don’t advertise it as a feature. (6) one of the upstairs balcony chairs was shredded, along with the ottoman and was left up there, which was an eyesore and dangerous.

....the dock of the bay

We enjoyed the view of the bay and our own private dock! Friends who live there came and picked us up in their boat. It was only steps away from the back door! We loved the kitchen and the king sized bed. It would be helpful if you brought a small fan to use in the bedroom. It was very clean and there was a nice fridge that cooled perfectly! We struggled with the code/door lock, but NEVER got locked out. Just needed to be patient. The Vacasa helpline was wonderful and very helpful. Plenty of towels and a great starter set of bath soap and kitchen soap. Bring the "he" detergent for washer. It was a bit "moldy" , but that is expected with those front loading washers if they are continuously left closed and the door not cracked for fresh air! Dryer was great! The sofa and love seat are gently used, but comfortable. Deck was perfect for Bible study and a perfect relaxing view. Area was quiet and neighbors were friendly. The pool was pretty and very clean! Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived a couple hours early so we put drinks from our cooler on the patio chair so we could use the cooler to get meats for the week why we waited on our check in time to get in house. Why we were at Walmart someone stole our drinks and my daughters clothes. There are security cameras but TurnKey couldn’t tell me what happened to our stuff. Then the fridge wouldn’t cool down so the repair man came and fixed it. The pool had a bunch of sand in it, so they sent a pool guy to clean it, the closet light bulbs were burned out and they weren’t replaced during our stay, a guy sprayed poison on bushes and trees why I was on deck and the spray blew up on me, so I ran inside and later found a note under the house on a utility closet door saying to stay indoors for 30 minutes. They could have at least put it on my front door or knocked on door and told us, Sand was all over floor in front of doors and I had to shake the rugs to get the sand off of them.

Great property - Almost don't want you to know about it!

We absolutely loved this little slice of paradise. There were 9 of us total and plenty to do on the property. The pool is smaller in person than we thought it was BUT it is honestly more like a plunge pool. It was perfect. Amenities were great. Clean all the way through. Loved the view of the bay. Under the house, there are different areas to hang out, they even have a fun hook game that everyone obsessed over. The breeze off the bay was amazing for when you had too much sun. We would hang in the hammock, porch swing and the many chairs, under the house to enjoy the breeze under the shade of the house. There is even an outdoor shower that my teenage daughter could not get enough of. The actual Gulf side is in walking distance but not all of us are beach enthusiasts so someone would drop us off at the beach and pick us up when we were ready to head back. Never once did I hear any of the kids say they were bored. We had the most amazing and relaxing time. Going into Gulf Shores or Orange Beach was about 30ish minutes. Never seemed too terrible because we were busy admiring the scenery as we drove. Absolutely loved it. We actually plan to go ahead and book again for next year. The only negative thing that I would give a heads up to is the neighbors in the area are not exactly friendly. We made sure to keep it quiet when 10pm came along. Thankfully another review shared this information as well. We are a friendly group that like to say hi to anyone out in the area and they were not exactly warm and fuzzy. Nothing happened of course, but could for sure tell they were not into having "tourists" near by. So we were just considerate as anyone should be. Beyond that, we plan to be back. As my title to this review says, I almost didn't want to share how amazing this place is because we always want to be able to come back and create more amazing memories.

Totally Relaxing!

The property was better than expected. There was a nice beach area behind the house overlooking the bay! We had a boat with us that we parked at the pier bayside, also the gulf across the street and the cutest little pool ever in the front! The inside was nice and clean! Loved the outdoor shower and there is plenty of seating outside underneath so you will be dry if it rains. Plenty of parking for our boat trailer and truck! One vehicle under the house plus room for one more in the driveway!

Our favorite spot

We have used this home for 3 years in a row. We love that is has its own pool, a dock to fish or put in a kayak off of, and the wonderful amenities found in the house AND beneath it. It has an outdoor shower, a porch swing, a hammock, lots of seating, a picnic table. The mattresses are nice, and the room configurations ideal. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything from crock pots to utensils. I always bring extra trash bags and cleaning supplies though. We will always use this house as long as it is available to us.

Our power was restored 2 days prior to when we were suppose to leave. I called and explained out situation to the property manager and asked if we could please cancel and get a refund since we had already spent thousands of dollars on gas and groceries while we were without power and really did not want to spend any more money if we did not have to. I was told sorry we can`t help you. You can cancel but we will not refund your money. So we decided to just go ahead with the trip, pack all our groceries, and try to spend a little money as possible during our stay. While the home was nice it rained the entire time we were there so we were basically stuck inside. We do not plan to book this home again in the future. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Great place!

This rental was great! We had a group size of 9. There was good fishing off the dock, easy access to the beach across the street, and the pool was perfect for those not interested in the ocean. The house was clean and everything worked. It was a perfect getaway for us!! **Note: I am receiving a gift card for this review, however, my review is accurate with or without the gift card.

Beach Vacation

We had a fantastic time at this property! The kids had fun fishing off the deck and swimming in the pool. The house was comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed. The beautiful beach is a short walk away. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Spot For Beach Getaway

I rented this house for a bachelorette trip and it was perfect. The pool was a great addition and it was super close to a more private beach. We had a great time, the only issue we had was that I guess I didn’t read the fine print carefully enough and they have a car limit of 3, we had more cars than that and to figure something out the next day. There is also a neighbor nearby that will call the property manager if they are irritated with you. We did play some music the first night we were there too late at night and she was very angry. After we apologized and turned the music down (our bad) she continued to call the property manager and told them wildly untrue things about us jumping off the balcony into the pool and being way over capacity for the house (there were only 9 of us). Anyway, overall we had a great stay, just be sure to be respectful of the neighborhood and read the fine print!

Great Quiet Spot

The rental was just as pictured. My boys loved having the pool, it was the perfect size for them. A short walk to the beach but if you have small kids and a lot of stuff to bring I would suggest renting a golf cart or driving and trying to park instead of walking. We had some issues with the WiFi but was able to fix that within a day. All in all it was a great experience and we hope to return.

Nice House close to beach, far from town

Our stay was nice. A few overcast days but overall nice. The home is as pictured. The Bay view was nice to overlook. We even got to see a small alligator, my boys were very excited.The rental is in a nice area, close to the beach. I would recommend a golf cart rental, there are signs for that on the road heading towards the house. The walk to the beach isn`t too far, however for small children it could be a bit much. That`s why I suggest the rental. The home is clean, well kept. Everything was to our liking and expectations. The rental property management team was there when we needed them. We had a bit of a hiccup with the WiFi I texted the management team and they helped sort out the issue. Super easy, quick, helpful. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
