Overall good time in Aruba - overpriced property
We stayed in March for 9 days.
Check in: 24 hours before the flight no check in info provided. I messaged manager snd informstion was sent the morning we boarded the flight.
Issue: when we arrive the door code was incorrect. There is no quick way to reach someone. Luckily the clening ladies we leaving and we asked them to help. They called the manager and we were given a completely differnt code. After a ful day of travel with 2 eldery parents, a 1, 5 and 10 yesr old that could have been a very stressful disaster waiting outside in 30 deg weather. This was not aknowledged in any significant way by the manager.
The floors were not very clean...dusty and black feet walkign around. We re cleaned. Beds and towels were good. Kitchen and fridge good. Bbq good. Pool clean. Neighbours loud- domestic fights.master
bathroomt upstairs smells like urine all the time. The power went out for slightly over 24 hours. This became a stressful event not having a fridge with a 1 year old and milk requirements. The night was aweful in the heat and the windows dont have screens so couldnt be left open. When expressing concerns 24 hours after thr event the manager was fairly dismissive and said "dont panic". When asking if thing wete to continue what alternative arrangemnts would be made...no answer just that the city was working on it. I knkw its not the propertys fault that the power went out but the handling of it was poor.
When I asked for late checkout the manager was very accomodating.
