Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the âDamage Waiverâ). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Your basic spot with below average bedding and linens. If youâre just looking for a place to sleep ok⊠and bring your own blankets as there are basically two sheets on each bed.
Discovered multiple issues with the house and couldn't get anyone to come out and fix. Master shower was covered in mold. Bedroom was not cleaned. A/C vents were sweating. Reached out to vacasa and they could get in touch with the local property management.
The AC worked really well, the location was steps from the beach, plenty of cooking utensils in kitchen, good house plan for 6-8 adults.
For the cons: we contacted via text and we were told the local manager would call and no one ever called or addressed the problems. In 4 days, no one called or attempted to address the issues which is why Iâm sharing these details.
Roof leaked during rain, old/dirty furniture, bathrooms need updates, washer didnât work properly, the pool/hot tub/and pool area was filthy (unusable), no patio furniture on the top floor deck, some doors need replacing, poor quality sheets/ blankets/bedding, some of the dining/living room light bulbs need to be replaced or are not working. Also, needs a sign on the house to signify which rental it is. I usually do not leave negative comments but since no one ever called to address any of them, I was very disappointed. Especially paying for a place with a pool and itâs unusable and not being told so.
Lotsa Dunes was the perfect layout for our family, plus the beach was not crowded.
Alas, the internet was all but non-existent. Could not communicate via email or download news.
We love staying at Lots A Dunes because the beach is quiet and not crowded and the home is comfortable for our multiple families and there is a pool
We plan to continue to stay at Lots A Dunes as long as the dates are available that we need
The poor Vacasa management, slow response time for service calls and even some issues not being addressed at all are the issues that we have had for several years now
We rented this house thru Vacasa. Upon arriving, we learned there were no linens in the house. Not a sheet, pillowcase or towel anywhere. They were not delivered until the next day, so the first night we slept under beach towels. We also called maintenance about mold in a shower, a broken faucet and dirty diapers from the previous guest. No one responded or came to the property, so we had to remedy this ourselves. In trying to get a resolution to these maintenance issues, no one will respond to my emails or phone calls. The house would have otherwise been great, too bad the management company is so difficult and unresponsive. DO NOT STAY HERE!
We enjoyed the size of the house and close proximity to the beach. We love the Fort Morgan Beach area. No high rises and almost like having a private beach.
