Plenty of room for improvement

VRBO was great; they served their purpose. The property is outdated, and the staff, except the front desk, milled around as if awaiting their pink slips. None of the restaurants opened on time, if at all. When asking staff for service, it was always someone else's task. I checked out a day early out of frustration. The pool and fitness center were clean and inviting, but everything else needs improvement.

Horrible is a understatement

This location was TERRIBLE the room a very nasty upon my arrival the tub was dirty the toilet was rusted countertop burnt electrical outlets did not work . The hallway the paint was peeling off the walls I requested my money back and NOTHING ! Please do t say here just grab a box and sleep in it

Awful!

We stayed at the OYÓ on Tropicana, right off the Vegas Strip. I booked the room and received a confirmation email last month which clearly stated that my reservation was PAID IN FULL. I arrived at check-in, and was told I owed a resort fee + daily parking fee (the latter which wasn’t so bad, but was definitely unexpected). I searched my confirmation email and the site to find even fine print stating anything about resort and parking fees, and found nothing. The room was dusty, and looked like they just took care of the basics to make the room look presentable. The bathroom floor tile had all sorts of stains and the tub was disgusting… it was cleaned, but still gross! There’s was no refrigerator, microwave or even a coffee maker in the room… I’ve NEVER been to a “resort” that didn’t at least have those basic amenities, so I’m not sure what the resort fees were for. There was no top lock on the door which left my friend and I (2 women) feeling… less than safe in our room each night. During our 4 day stay, we only saw the gift shop open once and they didn’t even have the one basic toiletry item we were looking for… a razor. The food at Hooters was highly overpriced and extremely underwhelming. The best parts of our stay at this overrated MOTEL were the staff, by far, the beds and the pool, even though it closed at 7 pm in a place where the temperature is easily 95 degrees at 11pm. I will never stay at an OYO property again, and this is the second strike for Vrbo.

Cleaning and house keeping

Stay was cool but would have been better if a mini fridge and micorwave was in the unit there is space for it. Down side is i never got the towels and lotion i requested from front desk on my 2nd day. Never got it thru the rest of my days. Plus there was dirty towels hanging on the shower rod that i did not notice until i took a shower. Tub faucet was leaking, mold around the tub and tub needs to be resurfaced. Online pictures do not do these rooms any justice. The bed light did not work at all kept flickering. But front drak and staff was polite

The property needs to be updated…

Most of the girls at the front counter were extremely helpful and nice. There was only one lady at the front counter that I tried to avoid she made you feel like you were not welcome and you were bothering her.
