Satisfactory stay

1. Needs a new shower curtain, or at least this one needs bleached. The bottom is covered in mold or grime of some kind.2. I always book a condo with a washer, which this one advertised but did not have. While I was reimbursed for a trip to the laundromat, that was an inconvenience to drive several miles and lose beach time.3. There was only one blanket in the whole house, yet two beds. Consider adding an extra blanket for the sofa bed. 4. I noticed that one day after I booked my stay (which was an emergency booking because the condo I booked several months ago was not ready, and I found out less than 48 before my plane left KY) the cost was 50 less a night than what I paid. That just added insult to injury after paying an extra 1k for much less house than what I originally booked.

Perfect little escape

Just a long weekend for my husband and I from our cold climate to thaw out. Location is perfect. Walkable to bars, restaurants and beach. Just what we needed.

Great area our unit was not as nice as the upstairs unit but clean across from beach

It smelled a little musky, but the bed was amazing. It was clean. There is an on-site laundry. The beach is across the street. If you’re gonna be at the beach a lot it’s a great place to stay - the upstairs unit was much nicer than our down stairs unit!! The shower was not as nice as I’d like but we were at the beach more than we were there!!

Good location

Great stay for a quick trip on the island. Steps to beach and good restaurants. Also has access to the islands free trolley. The house definitely could use some interior updates but good price for what you are getting.

Very noisy rental

The property isn’t quite as nice as the pictures. Floors felt gritty, moldy shower, couch with sinkholes, and extremely hard bed. We knew about the road construction ahead which was fine. What wasn’t fine was the banging and sawing in the apartment over our head all week. The chairs around the table on the deck all had broken weave and the table and deck were filthy with sawdust from the construction going on above. Same for the patio furniture.

Mold smell

The property seems like there was some flood damage that never was cleaned up properly. The unit was very clean but has a terrible mold smell. The air conditioning should be ran at all times to maybe help with that smell

The area of availability to the beach was nice. The pictures from the Internet were correct. The problem was the couch is old and worn out, needs replacing. The springs were completely gone in the back part of the couch so you couldn’t sit completely on the couch. The bed squeaked, and was extremely hard to sleep on. parking spaces were always taken up by other people so it left no where to park for Sunkiss. I would recommend replacing the mattress and the couch in that unit. I noticed the other units look more updated which would’ve been nice for this unit for the price I paid.

Place needs repairs and upkeep besides a mopping of floor…. Many issues from previous customers were still there. Great location but needs many repairs.

Great location except for construction going on so you had to walk a bit to get to the beach. Invited sister over who's on oxygen it was a little tough but we made it. Floor was filthy. Black feet after showering within 5 minutes.

Pretty place

Cute unit for sure, location is good however there was a lot of construction at the road and across the street. Nothing to do with the unit, just a mild annoyance.

Great location to beach, but unit is small, probably best for a single person

The property is small inside, which was indicated. And we love that it is dog friendly. My standard of clean is high, especially at this rental price. That being said, the unit is old, but I don't expect to see mold and mildew on the shower head, shower walls, bathroom flooring, shower curtain and walls where there is no trim pieces (broken off) Also, the kitchen faucet leaked the entire time leaving a trail of water constantly on the countertop. I bought mildew remover and Lysol and dried the shower curtain regularly to stave off the smell and growth. Some owner updates would seriously improve these issues for future rentals.

This would make it perfect

Just a couple suggestions to add convenience to a stay at Sun Kiss. It would be great if you could stock a few simple seasonings in the kitchen ie; salt, peppper, cinnamon. Utensils ie an oven mitt, grill brush would be helpful too. Overall, We found the property to be absolutely wonderful. I was really impressed with the laundry facility, the wgon for beach use and the beautiful sitting area outside.

PERFECT LOCATION

This was our favorite trip to AMI so far, the location was perfect, 200 ft from the beach, perfect to go, swim and go back without leaving sand all over the car. The Cleaning team was extraordinarily professional. The BBQ area was great and easy to use. They have a little shower to remove the sand before entering your place. 5/5 10/10 100/100

Nice and comfortable…..except

House was charming, plenty of room for 2, and great location. The issue was tiles were missing in bathroom and boards were wet and covered in black mold…. Property management’s solutions was to cover with towels or refund money . After a 10 hour drive, this was unacceptable. Finally they moved us to a different location.
