The house is great, plenty of space, and was clean. It was nice to be off the beaten path but still close to everything. Will definitely be back in the future.

Very nice place, very responsive owner

Enjoyed our stay here with all the amenities. A little issue was noticed when we arrived and the owner took care of it within the hour. No ice maker (which as easy to buy at the local walmart) or cookie sheet but just about everything else you need so still a great place! Thank you

Perfect for children of all ages

The house was perfect for us. We are a family of 6 plus 2 friends of my kiddos. The age ranges were 5 years to 13 years. I wish i would've know about thiz property several years ago whn my youngest was still a toddler.

Property had plenty of room. All the amenities that we needed. Parking for everyone, very nice and clean house. Communication from host was quick and easy. Great location, close enough to everything but away from the hassle. Will be staying with them again. Thanks

Nice cozy cabin !!! Perfect for family stay

The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the house is perfect for a family get away. Most attractions were in good driving distance and the host gave great suggestions on attractions to visit in the area. We had no problems with our stay and I give a five star rating. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your lovely cabin !!!

Our first trip back to the smoky mountains with our adult children

We had a very relaxing and awesome experience at our stay at Abe and Kate’s Cabin, it has enough room for everyone to either gather at the table for a family meal or spread out throughout the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, the views were amazing. The cabin has everything you need down to dinnerware for children, we will most definitely want to stay here in the future!!!!

Great quality time with friends!

We loved that this place was easy to find and had lots of parking. The hot tub was just outside the kitchen and it was great since it was 30-40 degrees. The rooms/beds were perfect for our group as far as # of bedrooms and # of beds. The bunkbeds were very creaky and loud - kept the folks in the next bedroom awake due to thin walls. We cooked breakfast and dinners in and big table enable us to be able to sit together. Cooking was challenging due to few/damaged utensils, no cookie sheets, uneven/old/overused pans but we made it happen! Big griddle was nice as toaster burned our toast - even on 2. Not enough spoons for everyone and dishes were very large/cumbersome and didn't fit well into dishwasher so once we bought paper products and plastic utensils, our life was much easier. Location was great for us - Food City grocery was just 10 min away and really nice. Hosts got right back when we had questions which was appreciated.

The house was absolutely amazing!! Plenty of room for everyone!! We absolutely loved the theater room the kids spent a lot of time in there and the game room The Hosts were amazing we needed gas for the grill within 20 minutes there were there !! This place is a gem !! Definitely check it out we will definitely be back !!

LOVED THIS PLACE

This place was excellent!! We brought our adult children and the grands. Everyone had great things to say about it. Very spacious - no one felt crowded. Enjoyed all the in-house items, pool table, vintage video games, hot tub, fire pit, movie theatre. Cabin theme with a contemporary feel. If you like to cook/ grill at the cabin this is DEFINITELY a good place to do it. Short, scenic drive to shopping and attractions in Sevierville and P. Forge. Hosts are great no nonsense, real people, who are great communicators and planners. Will certainly stay here again - worth every penny.

Beautiful cabin in nice neighborhood, could use a few touch ups

We had two families and enjoyed staying in the cabin. It is a beautiful home with great bones and plenty of space. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room downstairs as well as it's location close to most things. We had a problem with the dishwasher but the hosts quickly responded and we were able to get it sorted. To be fully 5 stars, the cabin needs a few more items to complete it! - there were many patched walls indoors that needed some paint to complete the ambience, as well as a few missing fittings on closet doors - plenty of plates, but not enough silverware for 8 without handwashing in between daily dish washer runs, and no wine glasses to be found - bring your own laundry detergent to use the W/D! - the front step is sinking into the asphalt and loose, which was a little worrisome for grandma (and me) all in all we would stay here again.

Scenery ✨️

The home was beautiful, very spacious and had a warm feeling to it. Eat in kitchen 💖 which is a plus! My family loved the theater room, and game room (The neighborhood seems safe, we made friends with the guest across the way who was on vacation too. I recommend leather furniture for easier cleaning and guest to take better care of people property the chairs in the theater room wear and tear. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is about 20 minutes. My GPS took me through the mountains (Old Newport) I was so nervous, a lot of dips, curves, blind spots I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS ACTUALLY DRIVING IN THE SMOKEY MOUNTAINS!! For the city people like myself😊 its very country, dark at night (so we tried our hardest to make it back before night) traveling the roads/mountains but the house is very lit at night.

Spacious home in a great location

First of all, communication with Abe and Kate was great. They provided us with lots of info on things to do in the area and answered questions very quickly. The house was awesome! Lots of beds, smart tv’s that you can stream to and the internet was pretty good for being in the mountains with no buffering on our streaming services. We are a family that cooks a lot and the kitchen what you need to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. The beds were very comfortable. The floors are wood so I would definitely recommend kids use the bottom floor if they are going to be running up and down and playing. Downstairs also has the game room with a nice pool table and two arcade games. We had a lot of fun playing pool! The gas fire pit was nice to make s’mores with the kids. The neighborhood is very quiet. There is plenty to do within a 30 minute drive. Fishing at the trout farm was fun. Kids had fun catching them. We had them cleaned and fried them at the house. They were delicious. The restaurant can also fry what you catch if you choose. We hiked to laurel falls which is about 1.2 miles one way. It was awesome! The Island in Pigeon Forge was also nice, the kids enjoyed the rides and the restaurants there had good food. All in all, we had a great trip and great time in this beautiful home!

Good size house with comfortable beds, sleeps as many are as needed up to 15.

Though we were happy with the cleanliness of the property, location and ammenities, there were some things that needed repair. I sent a punch list that included over 12 items to the owner. One thing that was difficult was the downstairs shower never heated up at all. Smaller items were the toilet paper roller was off the wall, and the towel bar was hanging off of the wall on one side. Could have used some more silverware and glasses.

Weekend trip

We stayed here for the weekend with our entire family. The place is beautiful and accommodated us perfectly. We had children with us from 9 months to 17 years old and there was something to do for everyone. The location is wonderful located in a beautiful country setting but close enough to the city the drive takes no time at all. I would definitely recommend this for any family wanting to get away if for a week or just a weekend it’s the perfect place to stay.

Not ready for rental

Upon arrival all seemed good until property damages were very noticeable throughout the rental. The floors were filthy as if only vacuumed and never mopped. I sent off an extensive email to the host with no response for 2 days. One of the rooms was not usable due to soaked mattress. I purchased a mop and cleaner just so we could walk around. I spent too much time cleaning rather than enjoying my trip. If anything they should refund me the cleaning fee since I left it cleaner than I received it... I took photos on arrival and before I left the property and this may be the last time I use this service.

Family Vacation

Me and my family stayed in this beautiful home for our vacation, and let me say we loved it! There was plenty of room for us and our kiddos not to mention it’s not too far from the attractions in the area. Definitely would stay here again on our next trip back!
