We had a wonderful stay! The location was super convenient and the property was clean and spacious. We also appreciated that everything was on one level, which made it easy for my 86 year old Mom to navigate. Highly recommend this property.
Perfect location - very clean, welcoming snack gifts/wine, every kitchen item youâd need and a wonderful host! Matthew (host) was very accommodating and extremely friendly!
We loved our stay! Great location, clean and inviting..including a nice red to enjoy! It was great to have a parking space. The street is so pretty and an easy walk to the river. Enjoyed and will come back!
Very clean, the courtyard is straight out of a novel. Great location to walk to water, churches, historical sites. Parking in a covered garage is a plus. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, etc. Complimentary coffee, wine a plus. King bed comfortable. Can hear some overhead shuffling, but that is to be expected, being on the lower level, and not having to negotiate stairs.
The house was perfect. Could not have asked for more. The location was less than 100 feet fron the free shuttle that can take you all over. The city was clean and people were friendly. Plenty of activities for any age.
The location was great!!! The Monterey was great!!! The beds were comfortable, the outside back patio so cool and nice, kitchen and baths were spotless. If I HAD to find something lacking, a couple more towels would have been nice since 6 women stayed there for 4 nights. lol And, the other people staying above the garage and those above us were so friendly and nice! Very quiet!
LOCATION WAS GREAT! VERY CLEAN! BEDS COMFORTABLE! NICE LINENS TOO! EVERYTHING WAS AS PICTURES! STAYED WITH MY HUSBAND, DAUGHTER AND 2 GRANDCHILDREN. THEY WANT TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR. RESPONSE FROM MATTHEW WAS ALWAYS RELIABLE. THANK YOU FOR THE BOTTLE OF WINE AND WATER AND TREATS TOO
It is tough to find 6 seperate beds for 6 , 74 year old women. This place was perfect.
We meet somewher every two years and this was like doing in a home. Large kitchen , well equiped and a big table to sit around for breakfast and catchup.
The house is lovely, Georgian charm and had a courtyard and nice tv to watch our favorite games and streaming .
Then, step out the door and walk to fabulous restaurants, tours, shops and the historical parks and all Savannah has to offer.
I made a great choice and my roomates were really happy!

What a beautiful home!! It was the perfect size for a party of six. It had everything we needed minus the crockpot. There was a problem with the locks but the weather was horrible and the power had been out prior to our arrival. Matthew came by and was able to get everything back online. He also made sure there were plenty of towels. My friends repeated over and over how this house was centrally located to most of everything we wanted to visit. And with Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, next door, itâs a prime location. I will definitely be using Matthew again!
High School Friends were celebrating their 60th Birthdays. The location was wonderful and Beautiful. It met all 5 of our needs. The place was clean and perfect for we were looking for.
This is "our place" to stay in Savannah. It is clean, lovely, convenient and quiet. It sleeps 6 but there are only 3 in our party, so there is plenty of space, peace and quiet for all. The bedrooms are cushioned from the street both in the front and in the back of the building - the living room is in the front and there is a courtyard in the back, with the bedrooms in the middle. (But even the living room, which faces W. Jones St., is very quiet.) The private parking space is much appreciated. There is a unit upstairs, but we have never heard a sound from above. This is the perfect place to stay for adults (and we also love that everything is on the ground floor.)
Nice property in an excellent location for seeing Savannah by foot. Cute apartment with comfortable beds and roomy kitchen. Nice patio area to enjoy morning coffee. Only drawbacks were very low water pressure in shower, minimal number of bath towels and toilet paper.
We stayed at Monterey Suite. Very clean. Loved the location as you can walk anywhere, of course with good walking shoes. Did not know but Mrs. Wilkes restaurant was next door would have loved to try it. Asher and Rye had coffee and breakfast items - very good and a quick walk. All communication with owner was efficient.
The property was beautiful in a great location .the owner was very kind and accommodating our early arrival and late check out. The decor of the home was very much in style with the time period of the home, which we enjoyed !excellent
