You can take a felucca ride at sunset one evening and be standing before the Pyramids of Giza the next morning. I love that my guests can walk to St. Mary Church, grab fresh flowers from the shop downstairs, or take a 3-minute Uber to a floating restaurant on the Nile. I love that the neighborhood feels alive—families, locals, the hum of everyday Egyptian life—yet our apartment remains a peaceful retreat above it all.
