No stay longer than 20 days. This stay is private, the owners appreciate their privacy as many others do. This is a location where you check in and check out with no contact.

One queen bed, one brand new double bed. Brand new flooring (not yet pictured, grey laminate).

Please bring wood if you'd like to use our fire pit! We may have some but no guarantees.

This property includes an expansive yard, ample parking, and full use of a rustic firepit. Relax and enjoy the cozy atmosphere while roasting marshmallows or completing school work.

Inclusive access to a washer, dryer and dishwasher. As well as flatware, mugs, glasses, dishes, linens and towels.

Perfect for a few day getaway

It was nicely renovated. We loved the great space outback for the dogs. Friendly neighbors. Perfect for the 3 of us.

Great low key spot.

The apartment was not fancy, but was really perfect for what we needed on this trip. Lots of space, peace, and quiet. Could’ve been a little cleaner.

We’re glad we had read the reviews to know there wasn’t much available in terms of kitchen utensils and such. That was true! We also were charged a 25 fee after we left for a blood stain from a previous renter. It was refunded and 2 days later we’ve been charged again but with no explanation this time. The outside of the property is super overgrown and looks rundown, and hard to navigate in the dark at night driving with no lights or reflectors - but the apartment itself was immaculately clean and tidy! The only unfortunate thing was having no working lights in the master bedroom and the basket full of used linens from the previous renters in the closet waiting to be washed that add a smell to the room. It is just outside the city but only 15 mins from the main tourist attractions so location itself isn’t bad at all! Landlord was easy to get ahold of, flexible with arrival time, quick to respond, and we had no interaction with her at check in or check out. Which made things super simple!

very quiet and relaxing ..very clean. lots of amenitites with a separate private entrance but stairs very steep...and they let me bring my kitty and the bed was very comfy and liked the fireplace...however, chair very low, dining table only one chair could use 2 or more...fireplace no flames and was very cold with no heat, bedroom very drafty...could use sugar and maybe creamers in kitchen ...and directions on how to use the tv since we not tech savy...the host was great however and answered emails quickly....pehaps a manual or welcome guide on where to find and how to use things would have helped

Limited disclosure

The location is off a major busy roadway so it is noisy even at night. We were not told thatt here is a steep staircase to reach the upstairs apartment, which is where we stayed. The apartment is a large two bedroom one. It is under renovation. There is no bedside lighting in ether of the two bedrooms. The ad specifies usable washer and dryer however they are not hooked up and therefore unusable. the apartment is extremely cold due to a heating problem in the building. Our communication with the landlord was minimal to nonexistent, including not being welcomed nor acknowledged in departure. We were not given any clarity on the boundaries of the backyard fields. Therefore we could easily infringe upon the neighbors land. The neighbors were more helpful to us than the landlord about the area and the place itself. It turns out that the landlord lived in the building, which actually was a shock to us.

Host did not describe the place accurately and very poor communication with host.

First of all, host made us wait an additional 2 hours to check in. The normal time for check in was 4. If not for the cleaning lady being there, after we had to kill almost 6 hours, we would have had no idea how to check in, as the host never sent any messages, nor did she write back in a timely manner. She then told us they keep the house unlocked. Thankfully, th cleaning lady gave us a key. She stated this was a private place, however, there were people living right next door. The place was cold and musty smelling and definitely dated. It looked nothing like the pictures, and the place had very steep steps that my arthritic dog could not climb. I did not realize this was how we were to enter the unit. I just thought it was to get to the extra bedroom. I told the host that we couldn't stay because of my poor dog not being able to climb those steep steps nor could we carry him up, and she had no sympathy and didn't offer any kind of refund which I kind of understand but it would have been nice to offer for the inconvenience and to be kind. We wasted all that money for a 3 night stay and had to book a hotel for remainder of our time in Kingston. She also booked someone the night before and said she had no control over the app and this was the reason for the delay in check in. Would not recommend.

Ok

We didn't stay overnight in the end. When we came the place was cold and by the time Shana answered that we can heat the appartment up with the fireplace, we had to leave. Probably the place is ok in the summer.
