Villa Alamandra est une maison unifamiliale sur Turtle Beach avec une vue Ă  180 degrĂ©s sur les CaraĂŻbes et l'Ăźle sƓur de Nevis avec son magnifique mont de 3 000 pieds. Nevis 2 miles Ă  travers la mer. Une promenade de 2 minutes vous amĂšnera Ă  la belle et isolĂ©e Turtle Beach.

Notre salon, salle Ă  manger, cuisine et suite parentale sont au rez-de-chaussĂ©e avec de beaux plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s en bois naturel. La vĂ©randa et la piscine sont situĂ©es au mĂȘme Ă©tage. Cuisine gastronomique entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et Ă©quipĂ©e d'appareils Ă©lectromĂ©nagers en acier inoxydable et de comptoirs en granit. Profitez de la vue en cuisinant sur l'Ăźlot de cuisine semi-circulaire. La table Ă  manger peut accueillir 6-8 personnes.

Toutes les salles de bain sont équipées de vanités personnalisées et de comptoirs en granit. Tous les 3300 pieds carrés de plancher sont recouverts de carreaux de travertin 18X18 importés. Grande chambre principale (King) et salle de bain ainsi que 2 grandes chambres d'hÎtes (Queen), toutes avec portes françaises donnant sur véranda et terrasse, A / C et ventilateurs. Buanderie avec A / C. Le salon s'ouvre sur une véranda couverte par un mur de verre coulissant.

Best stay ever! Property was clean and the views were immaculate. Owners provided plenty of information to help us plan our stay on the island and was very responsive. Loved waking up here each day. Absolutely wonderful family getaway!

The location and views of the property are simply amazing. The picture on the listing barely gives it service to just what an amazing view it is. That being said, that's about all the property really has going for it. I'm sure that 10-15 years ago the house was in its prime. However, you can see as soon as you arrive that it has not been all that well maintained. From a half broken "For Sale" sign on the front gate (and the property is for sale) to the once nice pool features that no longer function you can see that the house hasn't been properly kept up with for some time. There is virtually no water pressure in the shower, the water and ice dispenser on the fridge don't work, the bedroom air conditioner is quite loud, and the are several spots of monkey dung on the back patio (despite both the housekeeper and pool guy coming during our stay and not cleaning it up). Again, if you're just looking for a place to stay with an incredible view then this is you place. If you're planning to stay in the villa for a few days and relax, there are better and more updated options in the area.

Please skip this rental. The hosts are complete nightmare. Upon arrival,I was made aware that the oven did not work
.and then I discovered that the electric stove did not work either. I contacted the host immediately, and they responded by telling me that their electrician said it work two days ago. I explained that I turned all the burners on but still no heat. They suggested if I really needed a stove top I could by a hot plate in town. Also, the ac in the master was not working. Told them about this , and was told to check circuit breakers and I kinds of run around. I checked the breakers and they looked fine. I am not an electrician and was not about to be flipping switches in a foreign country. The host stated that the electrician can come out in 3 days. At that point, stated that I was on vacation and could not deal with all these problems, so I would have to find another place to stay .We stayed one night shared rooms because it was tooo hot to sleep in the master, and you cant leave the windows and doors open due to the monkeys. We left the house the following morning. Once the host looked on her cameras and saw that we rented the house next door, they became upset and petty. They harassed me every day for me to cancel the rental because I made them lose money. I contacted Vrbo , and they stated that the host must cancel. They kept inboxing stating that the would charge me for every day I did not cancel. Vrbo got me my refund. Please trust the negative reviews.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Villa and visiting St Kitts! We highly recommend a trip to Nevis! We hiked the volcano on St Kitts, took in Lobster Fest at Reggae Beach, dined at Spice Mill, Arthur’s, Ship Wreck, Marshall’s, and another stop on the Frigate strip. The kitchen at the Villa was perfect for prepping breakfast and lunch and enjoying it on the patio. The views are spectacular! A note - the Saturday morning market is no longer in operation down the road at “Cotton Farm” (I can’t remember the exact name of it right now).

Hillside villa

A spacious and well laid out villa on the side of the hill giving wonderful views over to the island of Nevis. Just loved breakfast on the terrace watching the pelicans dive for fish. Only real negative was the tortuous dirt road to get to Turtle Beach. The hosts were super helpful from the minute we booked. Loved our stay

Spectacular views!

We loved Villa Allamandra! There are spectacular views from the patio and pool area out into the ocean and across the channel to Nevis!We scuba dived, sailed and snorkelled - and the island of St. Kitts is beautiful!The owners were great with communication and the villa was very comfortable for 6 people.

Really great stay

Overall it was a really nice stay. Everything we needed was there. The walk to the beach only took about 5 minutes, and the beach was really nice and quiet. There was plenty of everything we needed for our entire 9 days. I did read where someone complained about not enough toilet paper and detergent in another review. I’m not sure what they are used to, but toilet paper, dish, and laundry detergent is something we always bring with us on our stays at this type of property. Over all it was beautiful and quiet location. Getting there was a little ruff, and because our plane got in late from a 5 hour delay, and we had to taxi up at night and back down the next to pick our rental. Make sure you have transportation, taxi are $50 each trip.

Stunning panoramic view; perfect escape from city life

High up on a steep hill, the Villa offers a beautiful view of the ocean and Nevis, including its volcano often topped with puffy clouds. The 3-bedroom house is suitable for 3 couples and includes a pull out couch appropriate for a small child. The location is perfect for a quiet, remote vacation. If you are an avid reader or a writer, you will love sitting on the deck enjoying the view and taking in the constant breeze. Stargazing at night is a wonderful escape from city life. If you want some action, you will need to drive or taxi across very bumpy, crater-like roads a good distance to activities like ziplining, ATV, catamaran--all of which were lots of fun. I highly recommend Johnson Taxi service, always on-time, friendly and flexible. We were disappointed in Turtle Beach for the lack of sand and overgrowth of brush and seaweed that made it inaccessible. For a swim in the ocean, spend a day on a catamaran or take the ferry to Nevis and go to Pinneys beach. The owners were very responsive to my many questions prior to the trip, which was one reason I selected this property. However, less so when I mentioned some concerns I thought they should be aware of. All in all it was great family time for my spouse and our 4 adult children.

Great spot!

Okay, Mundo’s beach bar is the only good service on the island I am pretty sure. So definitely go check out his place on reggae beach. The house is what is advertised with an awesome view of Nevis. The view definitely doesn’t get old. The hill going to the house is steep, but get used to it, that’s how the island is. And no one cares if you cry about a steep hill. Next thing, the property is nice and the owners don’t bother you unless you need them. Just the way it should be. The only knock I have on the property was the toilet paper, trash bags and laundry detergent were very much lacking. Very small amounts of these were provided and things we weren’t expecting to have to get very early in our trip. When traveling with women you literally have to hear about that until you have them. So could have done without that. Overall, great property and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

A wonderful villa - exactly as advertised

This three-bedroom villa is exactly as advertised, if not better! We stayed four weeks in this immaculate and well-appointed home and came to love it. The neighborhood is quiet and well-kept. Our daily walks were rigorous, to say the least, due to the steep hills, but the views were worth it! The view from the verandah overlooking the strait between St Kitts and Nevis is captivating, as are the stars at night 
 and the occasional troupe of vervet monkeys who visited the grounds to graze. Lisl & Buzz were wonderful to work with — helpful, accommodating and quick to reply to WhatsApp messages. A five-star villa for certain!

Great location

The views from the villa were exceptional. We loved the secluded beaches near the villa. They provided exactly what we wanted on this family Christmas vacation. Spent most of our days snorkeling and swimming. Our grandchildren are young so keep in mind your expectations. We feel we stayed on the best end of St. Kitts.

A wonderful trip to St Kitts

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The communication with the owner was fantastic - they made sure that we had all the info we needed to have a great time on the island and answered all our questions and handled all concerns. The view is over the top fantastic and waking up in the mornings and sitting on the back patio is so delightful. The beds and bedding were all comfortable, a set of bath and beach towels is supplied for up to 6 (we were a family of 4). There is a washer and dryer to refresh your set of towels and linens. The kitchen is well stocked in order to cook a few of your own meals as dining out can become quite expensive. As the owners suggested, stop at the grocery store upon arriving on the island for your supplies. Ram was a well stocked and reasonably priced store. The villa is also very clean. Understand that the bedrooms are air conditioned (which you should turn off when you go out for the day), but the main living area is kept cool by opening the windows / doors to let in the air that blows through the villa. The small pool is also a way to keep cool - we took a dip a few times - refreshing. We would have liked to have a jeep for the rather steep hill to the villa, but managed with a van. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet - we felt very safe. Some highlights were the New Years Eve celebration at the Spice Mill complete with fireworks, trip to Nevis to have lunch at the Rock, and a catamaran excursion with Blue Water Adventures.

Awesome house and view

From the time we walked into the house and saw the view of water and Nevis directly thru the living room, we said yes. The house was Lovely, well equipped, super clean, and pleasing to the eye. Master mattress was a definite hit. We laid out on the back deck catch rays and cooling trade winds. And the owners were super responsive and instructive. Just an awesome stay.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The property owners, Buzz and Lisl, were so wonderful with communication and giving us helpful information for our stay. Property was exactly as described! Beautiful house with amazing views of Turtle Bay and Nevis! We had a wonderful week visiting the local beaches. Everyone on the Island was so welcoming.

My wife grew up in Austria and I was raised in Florida and we both love the tropical climate and the Caribbean. We have traveled the world and sailed to many of the Caribbean islands but fell in love with Turtle Beach on St. Kitts. Although our children are on their own, they take any opportunity to visit us on Turtle Beach.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

While visiting St. Kitts in 2003 we fell in love with this unspoiled tropical paradise. We purchased this land and finished construction December of 2008.

Unsurpassed views, the short walking distant to the unspoiled beach, the walk from Turtle Beach to Cockleshell and Banana Beach, the friendly neighborhood and the many activities available.
