We had an excellent stay here! There were a number of us travelling together for work and this place had a large number of bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen space to host us all whilst also giving us space to get on with work when needed. The host was really communicative and great at helping us find things! Thanks for a great stay
Great location. Walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Plenty of space in property for eleven adults. Nice fresh beds in bright rooms. Property a little shabby in parts. Excellent communications with host who was very helpful. Parking in Edinburgh generally a bit of a challenge but doable.
The property was right at the bus stop, making it easy to get to the city center and elsewhere. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and communication with the host was frequent and clear. The kitchen had a stove and microwave but no toaster, frying pan, or spatula to turn foods. We made do with what was there. Overall, it was a good stay.
Worked well for the 5 of us, lots of stairs so be prepare their is a room on the first floor and that is where I stayed, also used it to put suitcases and able to manage the stair issue. All Europe has many stairs so you should not be surprised just be prepared. Was walking distance to many places and it was lovely. I would recommend a stay at this house. Make sure you bring the right plugs and enough for your electrical items, and hair dryers.
The property is listed as a townhouse, however, it is a series of single rooms with locks on each floor and room, and bright exit signs above each door, so more like a flop house. There was one bathroom per floor and all were absolutely disgusting and filthy. The showers were full of mold. On the upside, the bedrooms and bedding were cleaner. However, I would not recommend this property.
Comfortable walk ro Princess Street, Castle , shops, pubs etc There is a bus stop right outside the door if walking is not an option
The one suggestion I would make is for guests to bring eye madks, as the curtains are very thin and the outside street lights shine right into the bedrooms facing the front street
Kitchen is very well equipped, showers have good water pressure, lots of hot water,
This property is ideal for large groups. It is well situated within Edinburgh. It was clean, however it is very tired looking and in need of a makeover. We found ants in the kitchen, and when we contacted the owner, she was aware of this problem. Also on the last day although the check out time was 11 oâclock, the cleaner arrived at 10 oâclock and started cleaning the property.
