Spacious One-Story House located across the street from Labcorp headquarters and just minutes from Elon University and Burlington. Includes four bedrooms as well as a fully functional kitchen with dishwasher and all other appliances. Welcoming dining and living rooms alongside a beautifully shaded back patio. Covered porch provides the perfect place to dine or just relax after a day full of activities.

Great Home - Great Location

Perfect location for Elon University and surrounding area of Burlington. Moved our freshman daughter out of her dorm and this home was perfect for all we needed. Equipped with everything you would want to feel at home. Host was very interactive via the Vrbo messaging center.

Elon home

We rented during the 4 days around Elon U graduation. The best feature of the house is its location. In terms of the graduation ceremony, it was a mere 1.5 miles from the Schar Center (where graduation takes place). Easy walk of 30 minutes all on a wide sidewalk. The house appeared to be clean and on first glance, I was happy with it. The 4 rooms have full beds. Each of our family members had a room to themselves but realized that my room had no working lights and neither did my oldest son’s room. I didn’t pay close attention at check-in to my youngest son’s room but later saw a ton of bits of trash, beads and other various items scattered around the perimeter of the room. I’m not sure it had actually been properly vacuumed in a really long time. The kitchen counter had some pretty old drips of food that hadn’t been cleaned up. I looked for wipes but couldn’t find anything appropriate to cleanse the counter. There were a few cleaning instructions upon checkout:(dishes - though there was no dishwashing liquid to clean pans), taking out the trash and taking the bin to the street and to strip beds and start a load of wash. During our stay I did receive a couple of emails from our host which I appreciated. But we were seriously so busy with graduation that I didn’t have a chance to respond. I’m torn about posting this mediocre review but I think hosts should know how they compare to other rentals and I owe it to other customers to give an accurate reporting.

Great Visit for Elon Game

My brother in law plays for Elon’s football team and our family had a great stay here for a weekend visit. It was spacious, clean, and close to campus. The owner was also incredibly responsive and accommodating. We will definitely look to book this house for our next visit.

Perfect location for Elon University

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for Elon Graduation. So close to campus - perfect place to come back for a great lunch in between all the festivities. Comfortable for our entire family. Susanne was a generous and lovely host. Wish we had found this earlier in our 4 years! Thanks so much

Perfect Rental for a Small Group

We were in town for our son's wedding at Timberlake Earth Sanctuary, and this house was perfect for us: mom, dad, brother, uncle, and grandma. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful ranch, which was clean and orderly and had everything we needed and more. The landlord was very easy to deal with and we were quite comfortable. A few highlights: well-ordered kitchen, great gathering table, pleasant living/family room, cute front porch, shady back yard with amazing large tree and lighted covered porch with chairs and table, clean and spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds and ample closets and places to unpack. We biked into Elon and Burlington on the lovely Greenway trail right across the street! It is a nice neighborhood and close to everything we wanted to do. Bonus: Krispy Kreme delivers here!

Convenient home for an Elon visit.

We enjoyed being within walking distance to Elon University while visiting our daughter. The home is great for a family or group, with space for privacy or gathering. The host was kind, flexible and responsive. We would stay again!

Spacious & clean house - close to campus

We stayed in the house as we are a family of five, and hotels are impersonal and congested and we wanted to make the most of our son being invited to scholarship weekend at Eli. House was conveniently located, clean and gave us the space we needed to take in the entire weekend. The owners were great with communication and the house is nicely updated. It was great to be able to not have to share rooms, have a nice, quiet yard with the most awesome tree. If our son attends, we will be back.

Convenient to Twin Lakes Community; perfect for family gathering

Susanne and Stefan are the perfect hosts...very quick to communicate and please. We experienced a slight snafu while checking in (hey...."stuff happens"!).but the were immediately available and attentive until the issue was resolved. The location of the home makes it the ideal place for families visiting family in the Twin Lakes community. The layout of the home actually offers two separated sleeping "quarters/sections" each with it's own bath. The backyard fenced-in area complete with table/chairs and grill offers a great outdoor gathering area. TV, wifi, kitchen. laundry, bathrooms all in great working order and well stocked/supplied. Linens clean, and comfortable....as was the whole house. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to stay here again. Also....a great walking trail straight into the town of Elon!
