Luxury 3 Building Compound at the Blue Spirit Retreat Center with Ocean views
Enjoy this beautiful tropical compound overlooking the Pacific Ocean. House of Stars-Casa de las Estrellas, is a private sanctuary featuring stunning views of the ocean and an incredible night time star gazing balcony. WiFi is available everywhere on the property. Hint it is managed by Mango Realty Nosara. Walk through our vibrant tropical space to a private infinity pool. A grounds keeper will come each morning to discretely clean up leaves and care for leaves in the pool. Enjoy outdoor dining and lounge areas and relax in 5 spacious bedrooms en suites, housed in 3 different structures which are placed in different ground levels of the property. For this reason, it can be inconvenient for families with young children but is ideal for friends or family groups who want privacy combined with multiple community areas within a private compound. Do not hesitate to send us an inquiry before booking. AC units are available in 3 of the 5 bedrooms, there are fans in the other 2. The compound offers clean architecture with an eye for organic form and is tastefully furnished with Balinese teakwood furniture and Asian statuary. It was designed by Salagnacar Arquitectos, architects of the Bodhi Tree and Nomad Hotel. There are multiple indoor/outdoor hang-out areas. Great for families, friends groups, creative retreats, or if you are dreaming of a perfect remote office for an extended rental. All of our en suite rooms have desks. Interested in a long-term rental? We offer discounted prices by the month. We are a 5-minute drive to either Gaza Ocean or Guiones beach and a very good small grocery store. 7 minutes from a fresh fish store and 10 minutes drive to the town of North Guiones which features surfing, great restaurants, cafes , shops, a pharmacy and medical center.
We enjoyed our time at this location more every day that we stayed there. It was such a unique experience and the whole family enjoyed it immensely! The pool was used many times a day and the sleeping environments allowed for great rest to power us through very full days. We felt very safe due to the security detail that exists. It was a great adventure for us!!
The property is beautiful. It looks very much like high-end bungalows (in particular the master one) spread across the estate. The kitchen is also placed on a separate bungalow. The swimming pool with the view over the ocean was a treat per se. Two things: I highly advise it for families with teenagers or kids that can sleep independently in a separate bungalow (which means they would have to cross a part of the estate). The property manager was able to accommodate a crib for us but we had to share the bed with our 5 years old as we were reluctant to get her sleep in a separate bungalow. We had a great time despite though and the owners were very accommodating.
Beautiful view and estate was wonderful! Some maintenance was needed on fans and light switches but overall the experience was awesome! Claudia was very sweet and quick to response when we had questions.
Very secluded (what we wanted), great views, remote natural setting. Very unique set up to property. 3 buildings on various levels of the hillside. Great for different areas of family, kids, etc. There are animals and insects around....it's the jungle. Enjoy. Claudia was very easy to communicate with and very responsive.
Beautiful setting, house was as advertised. Not the fault of the owners, but families with small kids should be aware of the distances between the suites. Teens would be fine.
We loved our stay at Casa de Estrella. Itâs such a beautiful house and property. You really feel nestled in the land. I had to work some, so the upper rooms provided a beautiful perch to work from. The internet was very reliable. We had a wonderful time.
This home was the highlight of our stay in Costa Rica. It really is 5 stars in every way. Truly the best view of the ocean and sunsets, and the flora and fauna was divine. The monkeys and birds came right up to the edge of the infinity pool. Great outdoor grill for meals under the palapa. Privacy, beauty, and nurturing to body and soul.
Weâre seasoned travelers, and have stayed in Nosara 6 times over the last 25 years. The house is located in a terrific private and secure spot.I would recommend a few things. It would help to construct a welcome letter describing the property, or have someone greet the guests upon arrival. Itâs a rather confusing layout. The swimming pool needs attention. It should be shocked and cleaned thoroughly. That can be fixed easily. Lastly, the electrical system needs to be looked at. The power to the kitchen is intermittent, which is a bit disconcerting. Some of the overhead fans also need to be replaced or repaired. A little TLC and this spot is worth a visit.
Highlights:- Claudia met us upon arrival and was welcoming and thorough in onboarding us to the place.- Luxury pool!!! Amazing outdoor couches under the canopy and plenty of towels.- Ocean views- So many bathrooms and showers (some outside!)- Laundry on site was so helpful- 3 of the bedrooms had air conditioning (it was needed!)- Very private and safe- Fully stocked kitchen- 5 min drive to Garza beach, which was great for swimmingNot bad, just good to know before booking:- The two bunk bed rooms do not have air conditioning, just fans. My young teenagers didnât mind.- The 3 buildings are great for privacy and families with older kids. Itâs too spread out for little kids.- The dining room is outside (covered) and the inside living area with TV is in the master bedroom over the garage.- Lots of animals (monkeys, birds, white noses coatis, iguanas, geckos, huge grasshoppers) and bugs that come naturally because it is in the middle of nature.- WiFi worked well in the pool area and dining room but not in the bunk bed rooms.
The view, rooms and pool were wonderful! The monkeys came for a visit one day and the Coati wanted to see if we left any food out. We loved the out door feeling. The room that we stayed in, felt like we were in a tree house, complete with our door shower. There are steps to some of the rooms, but a couple of rooms are near the kitchen with a ramp.
If you donât like the out doors, stay in a hotel.
