Charming Modern Beach Villa with 360 Island views & easy resort access
PERFECT beach villa for adult get-away! (no children under 12). Modern bright & airy w/ 360 VIEWS, rooftop dining, & semi private beach with Palapa & hammocks just across the street. (West side beach so NO sargassum here) Fast & reliable wifi 20mbps. Located 4.5 miles south, this villa has 2 separate living areas exclusively for your use: upstairs and downstairs; both w/ gorgeous bay views, own bath & private decks. Upstairs has fully equipped kitchen & living room. Downstairs has sitting area with minifridge, coffeemaker, plus an outdoor shower. Bonus access to resort facilities & pool right next door @ Playa de Sala (infinity pool, beachfront Boat Bar and full service Restaurant) pool use with any food/drink purchases. This home is not suitable for those with mobility issues, difficulty with stairs or young children (for safety).
THE VILLA
3 levels of decks to enjoy gorgeous sunsets, waterviews & cross-breezes. Semi private beach just across the street (featuring an over-water palapa with hammocks) is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The 2nd story Master suite is 450 sq ft. of open concept living, including living room, full kitchen & eat-in bar, master bathroom, queen bed and a private sunset balcony. Overlooking the mangrove reserve, it is a bird watchers paradise so bring your binoculars!
The 1st floor guest bedroom is an entirely separate space with 2 twin beds,1/2 bath plus private outdoor shower. Beautiful beach views from its cozy sitting area. (Twin beds can be combined into a king if desired but space is tight in this configuration). Please be aware the downstairs guest half-bath does not have a separate door from the bedroom area but the toilet is tucked discreetly around a corner. Outdoor front patio with beach views is great for relaxing and enjoying the breezes.
Rooftop dining area boasts a 360 panorama of the Island from reef to lagoon to southern tip. Breathtaking views and sunsets, and perfect for amazing star gazing!!
BEACH ACCESS:
Enjoy out sandy beach just across the street, shared exclusively between our 2 properties. Includes over water palapa with hammocks and chairs- perfect for relaxing with toes in water after a long day playing or working. 1 Paddle-board available to Explore the Bay on. Additional paddle boatds and kayak rentals available next door.
INDEPENDENT TRAVELER:
This house is best for the independent traveler. The manager is easily reachable by phone but is not onsite. Bed linens and a 1 bath & 1 beach towel are provided. Mid stay cleaning & linen change are available for an additional fee but there is no daily housekeeping. NO washer dryer onsite but We offer convenient 24hr laundry service drop off/pick up or theres a laundromat in town where they will wash and fold for you,

A Full service Restaurant, Beach bar, and rooftop bar are next door at Playa de Sala Boutique Hotel (Adults only). Resort amenities (infinity pool, groomed beach and lounge chairs) may be used with food/beverage purchase. Also offer Kayak/Paddleboard rentals, bicycle rentals and charter boat trips. The Resort is adults only, so no children under 16 are allowed on the premises.
WORK REMOTELY
Wifi speeds of 20mbps allow for zoom meetings, video streaming and working remotely if desired.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Located 4.5 miles south of downtown San Pedro, Tarpon Bay is a growing community, safe, peaceful and reminiscent of a slower time on the Island. There are a number of restaurants within a 15 min drive and downtown shopping is about 25-35 min. away. Dirt roads can be bumpy. Tours can pick up at our onsite dock. Tarpon bay is good for boating, fishing & wind sports but has a turtle grass bottom so less desirable for swimming. settlement. With plenty of fresh air, privacy and no crowds this is the perfect safe and peaceful vacation.

Take calculated risks and pursue your dreams! That's what we did when we fell in love with Belize, spontaneously bought land then designed and built our own tiny dream homes. We live and work on Cape Cod and as recent empty nesters we travel as often as possible to San Pedro--the land of sunshine and happiness. What started in 2018 as only a dream has grown and bloomed into a fantastic reality as we complete our 3rd tiny house in paradise. Hope you will love our places as much as we do!
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
Ambergris Caye--"La Isla Bonita" according to Madonna--and the Belizean people are as beautiful and warm and friendly as their Island. We love the vibe of San Pedro, the authenticity of the people, the cobalt blue waters and the sea breezes! We bought and built on Tarpon Bay because of its magnificent breezes and because the South end of the Island is considered to be the safest and most laid back. Also because we're on western coast we do not have Sargasso. All the fun/bustle/activity of town is easily accessible by golf cart, and home is peaceful. Plus having THE RESORT next door???? I mean its like the PERFECT pairing! I wouldn't undo this location for the world. Its like we found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow--and moved in!
