Nestled in the heart of Hocking Hills, you will find this breathtaking 19.8 Ft geodesic dome waiting to offer you a getaway of both relaxation and recreation. You will instantly feel restored with our bright, open floor concept. You will find all you need within this dome, which includes a queen bed, kitchenette, and large bathroom with glass enclosed shower. Enjoy meals in the kitchenette with two cooktops, a microwave, pod coffee maker and even a small refrigerator with a freezer. We have cookware and dishes ready for you! No matter the weather, you will find comfort in our climate controlled environment, as well as a gorgeous electric fireplace to enjoy. Step outside to enjoy a night by the fire pit, love seat outdoor couch and a bistro dining set. Relax in the hot tub as you enjoy the magnificent views of Hocking Hills. .
Once you are restored, the pole barn will also offer you an abundance of activity. We have a pool table, shuffle board, darts, foosball, corn hole, yardzee and more!

Dome

Property was very quiet, private and serene. Dome had everything you could think of and more, every detail was well thought out. The dome was very clean, bed was comfortable, and communication was good. Was 12 minutes away from shops and 15-30 mins from most trailheads. Thanks for sharing your property!

Quick getaway

My husband and I went to HH for a quick getaway and we stayed in the Penguin Geodome. It did not disappoint! It was very quaint and charming and in a perfect location. We were within a short distance to Logan and the antique malls and places to eat. The hot tub was very welcoming after a day of hiking. The game room in the main barn was a very nice addition! Would definately recommend!

Weekend Getaway

The Igloo was the most coolest place we stayed in. It was very private, clean, and everything was so easy. The host, was amazing! She was on top of everything. The barn with the activities was a very nice touch as well. We definitely would come again and definitely recommend this cute place to everyone.

Penguin geodesic dome

We spent 2 nights and they were magical! Both nights were chilly which made sitting in the hot tub a pleasure. We had a sky full of stars every night and very little light pollution. Lying in bed we could see outside and see stars and trees. We were close to hiking at Old Man’s Cave, great shopping and eating/wineries. I can’t wait to come back!!

Unique Stay in Hocking Hills!

If you are looking for a fun, unique experience in Hocking Hills, this is it! Close to all the fun things to do in the area, like hiking, putt-putt, and restaurants. It was the perfect get-away for my husband and I. We had one small issue with the deck lights, but the property manager responded quickly and helped to resolve the issue. The bed is so comfortable, we actually ordered the same one for our home! Would recommend 10000%!

Great place!

What a place! I was quite skeptical about the igloo, but it’s super cool. About 10-12 minutes to Hocking Hills. Minutes to the downtown. Every little thing is thought through and taken care of. It’s really an amazing place. There’s even a cool game room on site. Just amazing!

Wonderful Getaway

We really enjoyed our weekend at this property. It’s far enough away from the busy parts of Hocking Hills that it feels very private- but close enough to get to all your adventures. Host was courteous and kind. We were given suggestions for our weekend and found their list very helpful. The dome is lovely. Nighttime just laying in bed enjoying the lights and large view was awesome. Thank you!

Relaxing Retreat

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and we absolutely loved it! Everything was just as advertised, very private, clean, and nicely decorated. Great location for both downtown Logan and the Hocking Hills area. The hosts were prompt in their communication with us and even added personalized touches for our anniversary trip. I highly recommend this property!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was communicated properly and was accurate. The penguin dome was so clean and cute and really unique! Everything needed was there. Great communication on ideas of where to go/things to do/eat if your not familiar with the area. Definitely will be back!

This property was exactly how it looked online. It was very clean and everything was in working order. The view out of the front of the dome was very nice. Secluded but not to far from all attractions. Definitely will stay here again.

Amazing!

Our stay was amazing here, the igloo was exactly as pictured! Everything we needed was there and easy to use! The owner even reached out and made sure we didn’t need anything. It was also my birthday and they had a happy birthday sign and card, so so nice!!

Our experience was great! The igloo was very clean and just as the pictures showed. Everything was in great condition and the game room was an added plus. Everything was very well thought out and beautiful! Great place for a quiet and cute getaway!

Beautiful, Amazing, Top Notch!

My GF and I had an absolutely phenomenal weekend in our little Igloo at Hocking Hills (The Penguin). Such a cool place to stay. The property is private and beautifully wooded. We enjoyed bon fires, our hot tub and grilled steaks and chicken on our deck overlooking the woods. We didn’t need to bring hardly anything. Every little detail was covered by the owners. Could not recommend this property more to those who are looking for a peaceful, quiet, romantic little get away. And we hiked the trails of two nearby caves/rocks that were amazing views!! And the game room at the property was a really nice bonus. And the October Fall colors were an added plus for us as well. We will be back for sure!! Thank you for EVERYTHING 🤗

Amazing

It was a gift for my daughter and son in law, and they absolutely loved it!! She said the vibe was amazing ,it was clean and comfy and cool! She said it was decorated so perfectly and the hot tub was amazing as well. The entire process was so easy due to the owners as I’m not exactly great with check in process but the owners made it so easy!! All around great experience

Wonderful stay

Everything was just as the listing states. The AC was welcoming during the humid weekend. Quiet atmosphere. Everything inside had nice additions and we didn’t need anything extra. The bed was comfortable! Hot tub was great, deck was great, nice extra deck with the fire pit to stargaze. Absolutely loved it! Thank you!
