Unique Casa and Casita Heliconia- 2 separate properties and salt water spa.

We are from Minnesota and took a family trip to Puerto Rico in 2014. With that trip we knew we wanted to owe a home here. We purchased a condo in Luquillo in 2016. We love the NE/SE side of the island.

We own another property on the NE side of the island and love what this areas has to offer. The home sits on the hill overlooking El Yunque. Very peaceful and quiet with farm fields, cows, fruit and flowers everywhere and an old sugar cane plant. We have papayas, avocado, bread fruit, bananas, plantains on our land, that if ripe you can pick and eat. The house has a very open, relaxed feel to it. Each room is unique in design. The upper two bedrooms with the vaulted ceilings bring in such beautiful views and light. The large master is a perfect nights sleep, with private master bath. The side patio is perfect for a great BBQ, quiet cups of coffee or a nightcap outdoor bathroom is very convenient. The spa is a perfect way to unwind after a full day in the sun. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is new. Great sitting area across from kitchen, you can socialize will preparing food. The house has solar and a backup generator and water cistern if needed. The Casita is perfect for anyone in the group who wants a little more privacy. You can hear the Coqui frogs, birds singing and hens clucking. The Casita has everything you need, full kitchen, hot water and relaxing front porch. Just 10 mins from the ocean where great Caribbean beaches, food, drinks and nightlife. Only 10 mins from 2 large grocery stores, Walgreens, fast food, coffee shops and shopping. Walmart and other mainland stores are within 20 mins. Located with 30 mins to the Culebra and Vieques ferry. Take a short 30-40 min ferry ride for a small fee to some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. 30 mins from the Farjardo Bio Bay, kayaking night tours are incredible. El Hippie part of El Yunque just a 10 min drive away. We are so blessed to be able to share our home with you. We hope you leave with the same feeling we have of Casa Heliconias and Casita Heliconias.

The home is unique in that there is a main house 5bedrm/3 bath and a separate Casita 2bedrm/1bathroom. Space is perfect for that family, couple or teens that want more privacy from the rest of the group. Home has a great flow, unique angles and spaces.
