Jimmerson Lake Cottage

Jimmerson Lake Cottage is a great totally remodeled & updated year around place to get away. We have 1/2 acre to enjoy and are just across the street from the waters of the lake. Take the golf cart to the beach at the end of the causeway, the dock for your boat or you can rent a boat. This wonderful partially shaded yard is great for the kids, lawn games and bring the chalk so they can draw on the garage patio. Front and back decks give you hours of enjoyment & enjoy large fire pit for smores.
**Rent is by the week from Saturday to Saturday.

The space
Our cottage has just went through a full renovation. We want you to be able to feel at home & be comfortable in a well maintained home. Everything is new for you! We have a cozy gas fireplace in the winter and A/C in the summer. The cottage is in an amazing setting that you can enjoy lawn games and quiet times with your family when not in the lake. Park for the kids just 2 lots down with basketball courts, playground equipment and sand volleyball. We have great wi-fi and streaming with HULU live.
This wonderful location on the Lake James chain provides fun and relaxation all year around.

Small, charming cottage was perfect for our family

The updates in this cottage were very well done. It was very clean and comfortable. We didn't have any problems driving the boat through the channel and docking the boat. We were very thankful for the bumpers already on the pier. The water is so calm in the channel, the boat didn't bounce around. It was a very short walk to the boat from the cottage, the golf cart wasn't working correctly, but it was quicker to walk anyway. I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked with cups, bowls. plates, utensils, and much more that made it feel like home. I would definitely stay again. Our family of 5 filled it up, but no issues with the small space, we all enjoyed it.

Spectacular vacation rental!

Great location, and very nicely updated lake cottage. We appreciated all the amenities supplied! Dishes, pans, etc., all new. Hope to rent again next summer!

Great Newly Renovated Cottage

The cottage was super clean and newly remodeled. Check in process was easy, there was a lock box on the door and we had received the code by the time we arrived. The kitchen was really well supplied. There was laundry detergent, Kcups, tons of spices, and many other items we needed. Beds were comfortable. Nice TV and wifi. Large kitchen table and enough chairs. Large porch. Great stay. Thank you!

Jimmerson Lake Getaway

Communication was outstanding. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home from the moment we stepped thru the door. Could not have asked for better amenities. The large yard was great for kids and we didn't have to sacrifice a beautiful view of the lake. We will not hesitate to rent this cottage again. Great experience!

Great place for some R&R and even better hosts

We had a blast getting some college friends back together and reminiscing in this cozy home. There’s plenty of outdoor space for activities, a great view of the lake, and only a short walk to the beach. Judy was proactive and responsive, and she even left us some supplies for a cracker and cheese plate! We can’t wait to come back again

A Little Slice of Indiana Heaven

The LaPlant family if just as excited for you to stay at their cabin as you are to get away. Lake Jimmerson (Close to Lake James) It is super easy to get to and is exactly as described. It is extremely clean, and has every amenity you could wish for. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the TV's are all smart tv's and work well. The beds are amazingly comfortable just as the couch is. The Golf Cart is very useful as you will see. The view is gorgeous especially early in the morning. It is close enough to the water for fishing and docking your boat and far enough away for peace and quiet. The neighbors are all super friendly and helpful. The marina, and everything else in town is fun, good food and a little shopping. You gotta go to Tom's Donuts. The fire pit is perfect and i recommend taking a telescope to see the stars and moon. Fishing is great and the boating is fun. Take your own boat or rent one at the Marina. If you need a weekend getaway or a week or two of family vacation at the lake this is the perfect family cabin. Not to mention it has a tankless water heater so Hot water all the time. My boys loved it and can't wait to go back. What a great place!!!!

Early Spring Break Get-Away

Cabin nice remodel. Very organized & clean. Pleasant relaxing setting. Managers very cordial and responsive. Good fishing lake. Caught many Bass & bluegill. Would highly recommend.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a wonderful lake property on 1/2 of an acre to allows you to enjoy your time with out being so close to your neighbors. The partially shaded and partially fenced yard is wonderful for family activities. We have the neighbor park with shelter, playground equipment, basketball and sand volleyball just 3 lots away.
The dock is just down on the causeway for you to dock your own boat or a rental boat. We love that it is a golf cart community and can take the golfcart to the end of the causeway to the private association protected beach and swimming area. You can enjoy watching the lake activity from the full length deck on the house.
