Welcome to Trela Sands! This beautifully remodeled 4 suite resort is located in South Palmetto Point, Eleuthera Bahamas and includes a whole house backup generator. The property is 14 miles south of Governor’s Harbour Airport (GHB).
Trela Sands is 50 feet from the beach on the Caribbean Sea and has beautiful views. Start your days watching the sunrise to the east, sunsets over the Pineapple Cays, and star gazing at night. Spend time relaxing on the beach, kayaking, or exploring Eleuthera and all it has to offer.
This listing is for the 1 bedroom, 1 bath studio on the ground floor facing the ocean called "Aphrodites Oasis". For larger groups there are additional suites available. This suite has all the amenities of home, but with a view. This studio has a queen bed that looks right out over the water offering the perfect way to wake up each morning. The fully equipped kitchen has appliances including a 2-burner range, toaster/air fryer, microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. There is a shared ocean front screened porch to enjoy outdoor dining and to enjoy the beautiful views. The room has a queen size bed and a full bathroom with walk in shower. There is also an outdoor shower adjacent to the porch. From beach towels to blenders, Trela Sands has it all.

A true hidden gem on the ocean

Trele-Sands is outstanding. We stayed 10 Nights and wish we had another 10. The host were excellent giving us any info needed such as shopping, and places to to see wildlife. Another plus is the amenities that came with our stay. They have kayaks, a canoe , and paddle boards at our disposal to sastify our water wonders, The cove that Trele-Sands is located on is very calm, warm, and quiet. The water is so clear that you can still see the bottom at night. Me and my wife highly recommend Trele-Sands to anyone looking for a nice family stay it is worth every penny. If looking to come to Eleuthra even though the main road, and most of Palmetto Point is paved, there are alot of roads that are not especially if you are wanting to go turlte sighting, or explore some of the remote beaches. We highly recommend renting a Jeep or something higher off the ground.

20/10 this charming property felt like our own little resort. We will def come back and bring family and friends. We found it fun to hang in central Eleuthera with this as our home base and bounce between gov harbour, tippy’s, ten bay.The gear closet and ocean toys are an added bonus! Beach is pristine.

Sweet spot!

Great property! It is very apparent that the owners take great care of it. (They were there during our stay working on some things - they are great people!) The rental was clean, and well-furnished, and steps away from the sand and water! Great stretch of beach, and beautiful ocean to play in. If we return to Eleuthera, we might bring a group and rent out other parts of the property as well! Too many positives to mention - you can't go wrong staying on this property!

Just perfect

We recently stayed at this property for two nights, and it was just perfect. The cleanliness of the entire place was impeccable, making our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The beach was stunning, offering a pristine and relaxing environment. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommended!

Beach Lovers Paradise

Our stay at Trela Sands was perfect from the second we pulled up. If you love to sit at the beach all day, then this is your place. They have the perfect setup, the chairs, umbrellas, it’s setup ready to go. The kayaks were fun. We never kayaked before and had a lot of fun, got some good pics of starfish and sand dollars while we were kayaking. We would definitely stay again, the amenities were perfect, easy access to the washer/dryer. The screened in porch/patio was a big plus! Getting to it was fairly easy. If you plan to be adventurous to some of the other beautiful beaches, then this is it. They are basically an hour from either end of the island, so there wasn’t more than a 15 minute ride to some great beaches.

Home away from Home (but better)

TrelaSands was Super clean, helpful & nice amentiies! Tracy & Randy felt like family in the 2 days we were there in the one room suite. The room felt much larger than we expected with full refrigerator & equiped kitchen, small eating table and wonderful outdoor screen porch. The beach was ten steps away which was groomed every day with every toy available such as kayak, fishing items, paddleboard, and super clean snorkeling items. They also ket us use a brand new washer and dryer and provided soap [& extra private outdoor shower in addition to tiked shower ensuite.] I can't tell you how clean and well kept the entire place and grounds are! Everything was freshly painted and immaculate! Easy to get to Trelasands as there's well marked signs and best pizza place on island is nearby with local convenience store too! AND the view!! It was beyond photos can represent. Randy and Tracy were so responsive to questions before, during and after. They held our luggage for us as we moved (& now wish we didn't, but we didnt know that Harbor Island or Atlantic side reallly isn't worth the fuss.) The calm blue waters & beach outside Trelansands is beyone compare! Stay here for as long as you can!

Amazing!

We loved our stay! The property is great - looks even better than on the pictures! The surrounding is beautiful and quiet and the water is great! Randy and Tracy did everything to make our stay very pleasant, there is a lot of equipment that you can use like snorekeling equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Everything is clean and well maintained! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Amazing!

I cannot say how much we loved Trela Sands. The location is beyond beautiful. We looked at the beach book that was at the unit, but every time I looked at a new beach picture, I kept saying to my husband why would we leave this beach? Communication was the best I have had with any owner/host. Tracy reached out to us a few weeks before our trip just to check in, and also answered a number of questions I had about car rentals, boat charters, etc. She was super responsive and super helpful. She then messaged us the day before to give us suggestions on grocery stores, gas stations, the WiFi password, and David the property managers number, everything we needed to check in and start our trip. David the property manager was fantastic and super helpful as well. I have stayed at a number of Vrbo/Airbnb locations, and Trela Sands was by far the cleanest, the most stocked, and best maintained property we have stayed at. I would highly recommend this location and would give it 10 stars if I could. I can’t wait to stay here again next year.

Everything you could ask for!

This place literally had everything we could possibly need for a rental! To top that, it was beachfront to a beautiful, calm, private beach! The property manager Ricky and owner Tracy were quick to respond with any question or need we had. We loved the location as it was only 10 minutes to the best restaurants and beaches in Eleuthra! We absolutely can’t wait to come back to Eleuthra and stay at Trelasands again soon!

The perfect spot!

Trela Sands was the most beautiful spot to wake up to each morning. Our room had everything we needed and more. The beach was perfect for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling off the islands and just relaxing in the chairs provided. Ricky was easy to reach and checked in regularly to make sure things were ok. We WILL be back!

Perfect for the two of us.

The studio suite was perfect for my husband and I. I can’t think of one thing I would improve upon. We just loved it so much. There was everything in the unit you could ever need. Very thoughtfully stocked. It was spotless, the entire house and yard was maintained unbelievably, and the people who look after the property and cleaning (Ricky, Tony and Ariminta) are the absolute best. Communication with the host was flawless and made booking and understanding the area very easy. Since it’s mid island, it was fun to explore an area for the day and return to home base. We can’t wait to go back next year.

Trela Sands is an Excellent Place to Stay in Eleuthera! We Loved It!!

We were very happy with our stay at Trela Sands in Eleuthera. Better than we expected. The property is very clean and organized and offers everything you could possibly need. Beautiful setting on a beautiful beach. Everything is available from towels, kitchen supplies, laundry, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, grills, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Conveniently located on the island and easy to get to. Very close to shopping, dining and activities. Host and property manager were excellent in terms of communication and accomodation. We truly enjoyed this location and plan on coming back. Thanks for hosting a fantastic vacation!

Excellent location, property and host

Host Tracy was an excellent communicator every step of the way and property manager Ricky was on top of everything. The place itself is really well done - the unit we were in was exactly as described; it had everything we needed. The screened in porch is a real bonus - it's a fantastic place to eat breakfast watching the ocean and sailboats. Hot water for showers and internet consistently worked. We loved being right on the beach - and it's an excellent section of the beach with sandy bottom and no rocks; they even rake the sand. It's shallow for quite a ways out. The amenities are excellent = they have kayaks and paddleboards and snorkel equipment and floats. They also have nice chairs and loungers on the beach with umbrellas! The location on the island is good too - easy to get to Governor's Harbour for the Friday Fish Fry, easy to get to Twin Coves and French Leave and Ten Bay beaches; also close to Island Farms for groceries and booze. I would highly recommend this place! It's good for a couple and if you're two couples travelling together you could rent side by side units. We will definitely stay here again!

DO NOT HESITATE!

Check in with Rick was the easiest! Waited for us due to flight issue in Miami, he went out of his way to come meet us so we could follow him to property after dark. When we ever opened out curtains first day! Breathtaking views! Anthony kept grounds spotless always Freindly smile, one morning he brought me a dilly fruit from the tree on grounds. It felt as if we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. The rooms were immaculate the bed so comfortable just the right support & firmness. The entire efficiency has brand new feel. Beautiful attention to detail in such a small area. Only draw back was slight musty smell when we arrived, however once the a/c was on, followed by the next day the open slider door with fresh tropical air carried all our concerns away. Free laundry, wi-Fi and water toys all available. The Caribbean Sea was calm with wonderful cays just off shore. Shallow water great for children. We are planning our next visit already!

Perfect piece of paradise

This house was so perfect for my wife and I. We are big-time snorkelers so it was a great home base as we traveled the island but it would have been perfect if we had never left our own beach. The owners do such a great job of going the extra mile with the small things, we were greatly appreciative. Can't think of anything, within their control (weather was rough a couple days), that would have made this stay better.

Bien situĂ©e sur l’üle. Mise Ă  disposition de kayaks et de paddles. Attention les unitĂ©s pour 2 au rez-de-chaussĂ©e ont une vue magnifique, mais ce sont des studios. Ils sont bien Ă©quipĂ©s avec une cuisine et une salle de douche sĂ©parĂ©e, mais sans coin salon, juste un fauteuil 1 personne et la table pour les repas est dehors dans le porche avec screen commun aux 2 studios. Excellent sĂ©jour. Rickie le caretaker est charmant et aux petits soins. PropriĂ©tĂ© trĂšs bien entretenue, plage ratissĂ©e tous les jours. A conseiller !

Beach and Bliss

The beachfront studio was awesome. The carefully planned and well-appointed unit is bright and tastefully decorated. Each unit offers privacy. Oh, did I mention the beach? It’s a gorgeous backyard to this clean and new studio. Don’t hesitate, book it!
