My first impression was not good. When I arrived, it mustâve been garbage day as garbage bags were everywhere at the front entrance. I arrived early wanting to leave my luggage so my early arrival was unexpected. The concierge on the phone spoke minimal English (understood) but provided lockbox instructions. She was accommodating and was helpful.
Inside, it was dark and hard and he find the light switch. The studio was as described. Clean with basic amenities like dishes and cutlery. A dish towel and bath towel in the bathroom wouldâve been nice and soap to wash hands. There was a used bar of soap under the cabinet.
But take note - the whole facade is under scaffolding with construction noise beginning before 8am. An electrical cord for the construction kept the front door open during the day though the area itself felt safe.
To be fair-the apartment was as described - a nice, clean space. But no dish towel, bath towel or soap for hand washing.
The facade was covered with scaffolding and a cord kept the front door open. It mustâve been garbage day as I was greeted with garbage bags upon arrival and construction noise started before 8am.
The host was reached by phone but did not speak English. However I was grateful she provided instructions to access the lockbox through a mailbox.
The apartment is very clean, has almost everything you could need and very quiet. Communication with Layla was great. Very prompt and helpful. The only downside and it did not detract from our stay was there were no towels. Only a dish towel. Coming from far away it is not something we would travel with.
