Heart Of the Highlands Hangout-Large 7 Bedroom!

This large brand new home is available for your family or group of friends. Remodeled from top to bottom. Home features a large open Kitchen/entertaining area with fully stocked kitchen, all major appliances and Keurig coffee maker supplied with pods, sweeteners and creamers. 3 full and one half bath with 2 tiled showers and one claw foot tub. All towels, soaps and shampoo/conditioner supplied. We have 2 bedrooms in the back of house, one up and one down, that are cut through rooms. You must walk through a bedroom to get to the back bedrooms.
Keyless entry allows our guests to an easy check-in. Security arlo cameras are located at side outside gate, outside front door andoutside back door for protection of property.

Awesome Space Location

The space was perfect for our group with everyone getting a bed.Additionally the neighborhood is perfect to go out to the various bars and restaurants.

Amazing property for a large group!

This is a phenomenal house for any large group visiting Louisville. The house is large, clean and has so many beds. Everything is perfectly as advertised in the listing. The location is GREAT—less than a five minute walk to so many bars and restaurants in the Highlands neighborhood. Would recommend this wholeheartedly and would definitely stay here again

Great home base for big groups

The house was well furnished, and a great location with a ton of beds. Mine was very comfortable and I heard no complaints of beds from the others in the group. There isn’t a ton of dining or gathering space, so it’s really better suited for a group that plans on enjoying the town rather than staying in. We had a great time.

Great, just for sleeping

The property had 7 bedrooms and over a dozen beds but there were only 2 bathrooms with showers and there wasn’t a room large enough for a big group to comfortably relax together. There was also an awful sewer gas smell on the main level that made anything but sleeping intolerable for a couple days of our stay.

Fantastic host, great house, perfect location

Had the opportunity to rent this home for a bachelor party I was hosting for about 14 individuals. House was fantastic. Very unique, plenty of space (outdoor space was great!), rooms were large enough to split with the multiple beds, and the location was literally walking distance to several other locations! Even when it required an Uber, it was never longer than 15 min. The host was also great! Very responsive, accommodating, and provided excellent customer service through the entire booking process. Would highly recommend and book again if ever making my way down to KY again.

Great for a larger group

Rented this property for a military reunion and it worked out well for our purposes. The kitchen/living area staged the scene for a large group gathering. It was perfect for rehashing war stories and lots of laughter. The kitchen is well appointed, great for the visitor who opts to cook at home. Decor is comfortable and new. Jill was very easy to contact and was quick to respond. The home was conveniently located and the front steps provides hours of fantastic people watching!

An amazing place to stay!

This home is in the heart of all the Louisville action. Plenty of restaurants and bars just a few steps away. The place itself is beautiful. We were 11 people and we all fit with no issues. There was enough space and bathrooms to fit twice as many people. The beds were also all very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again one day!

Great house

We had a pretty big group in town for the bourbon trail and really enjoyed our stay here. A spot to sleep for everyone. Clean and a great location. Host was fantastic, great communication throughout. Would stay there again.

Welcome to the Highlands Hangout. Harry and I are happy to host you and make you feel at home while you are traveling.. We both have a long career in real estate and investing and decided to join the short term rental community with our first endeavor down the road in the Highlands in 2018. It was a scary, unchartered territory for us, but soon fell in Love with hosting people from around the globe. We have always enjoyed hosting friends and family and are often entertaining large groups at our home or lake house, but now we can enjoy hosting guests in our rental homes and assisting in making a memorable trips.

After success with our first short term rental, Harry and I set out to find the next great property. We choose commercially zoned properties that are close to residential areas that can be accessed by foot to great local restaurants, shops and pubs. The Highlands have long been a favorite "fun spot" for locals seeking amazingly diverse and locally owned eateries and shops. This property had been owned and operating as a favorite Louisville antiques store for decades and we were thrilled to buy a piece of history and restore the home back to a Homefront as originally designed with modern amenities.

This property has been totally renovated with keeping as much as the original character as we could salvage. You will love this beautiful urban home with 7 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and quaint courtyard. All this while being in close proximity to much of what Louisville draws tourists in for.
