Pahrump "Sun Cabin", is located between Las Vegas & Death Valley. It is near Front Sight Gun Training Institute, Red Rock Canyon Nat'l Park & Spring Mountain Raceway. Fully fenced property on 1/2 Acre lot. You can park your cars in ranch style yard. There is a private kitchen with stove, coffee pot, refrigerator and all cooking and dining sets.
Very nice outside set-up with comfy furniture to enjoy the spring & fall weather. Indoor space is pretty typical B'nB rental, with the usual amenities. We appreciated that they accept pets -- especially cats, as many "Pet Friendly" hotels don't allow cats. And Pahrump is especially bad in that respect. We'd definitely stay again.
This was a nice, quiet little room, however the windows were left open so it was a little dusty. Shower smells like mildew and shower curtain needs replaced or cleaned well. The smoke detector was detached and sitting on the refrigerator and the outside furniture was covered in spider webs.
We stayed 4 nights with our 2 small dogs. The cottage was just the right size and the location was calm and quiet. The whole yard was fenced so our dogs were able to run around.
This place was very adequate in a desert town, especially when staying with a pet. The yard is fenced in and your pet has room to run. The AC in the cabin worked well and the host was attentive. I would stay again.
This is the cutest cabin ever! VERY clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed coming back at the end of a very busy day and being able to just fix a meal and relax. If we ever go this way again, we will definitely stay here again.
We had a pleasant stay at this cabin. We liked the large property and fenced yard. Heating worked really well. The best of all was the patio. We enjoyed sitting in the morning sun and the quiet neighborhood.
Cute little unit in quiet rural area, interior clean and tidy with the basic amenities. Went to a great french bakery in town and was pleasantly surprised by what was available in town compared to the west side of Death Valley. This will be our home base for trips into both DV and Vegas.
Thanks for the hospitality!
This is an adorable little apartment-style studio apartment with a full kitchen, roomy bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The kitchen had pots, frying pans, utensils and cups. The shower had good pressure and in excellent condition. No bath tub. No couch. 2 kitchen chairs and a small table. This is not updated for luxury, but is not worn and tired, either. We were very happy with our stay! It was quiet when we rested. We were there to visit Death Valley.
I was doing business in Vegas for 2 weeks and took a weekend at this property to get away and read a book. This was perfect for this. The property manager was great and very responsive.
Nothing fancy, just the basics with a nice outdoor sitting area. Since we were traveling with a dog we appreciated that the area was fenced in as well Plus it was an easy drive to Death Valley.
Leon was easy to work with, small space, but worked for 2 adults and our dog. The gated property was great, but wish we could have locked the gate. The walls throughout the property look damaged, so that was disappointing. We ended up buying a few things the house lacked and leaving them behind for the next guests.
Leon was kind with quick and easy communication. This sun house was easy to find and the check in and check out process was easy to understand. The gate out front made me feel safe as I was staying alone. The air conditioner worked great. This house had all of my basic needs. I wish it would have had a washer and dryer since I stayed for a week but other than than I was comfortable and happy. Thanks Leon!
Overall this cabin met our expectations - quiet, clean, easy check-in, and amenities needed to stay a few days and eat on the premises.
The only issue, although minor, was that the bed frame squeaked when getting into and out of bed. Neither of us are sound sleepers. One of us an early riser; the other one - not so much.
We would consider this location as a recommendation to family and friends who plan a trip to Death Valley and yet want the amenities of a more urban area.
