À propos de cet hébergement
2 Bedroom House - Hobart CBD
Reconnect in this thoughtfully designed retreat, nestled high on Hobart's iconic Bathurst Street. This spacious apartment invites you to slow down and savour the moment, with a spacious open plan living, kitchen, and dining area that begs for shared meals and cosy evenings.
Two double bedrooms offer a peaceful escape at the end of the day, tucked away at the back of the apartment. Choose a perfect spot for your morning coffee in one of the two outdoor areas – the front deck has incredible views of the CBD and river, whereas the back patio is a more private oasis. Leave the car behind (though free street parking is available right outside!) and explore Hobart's heart on foot – you're just minutes from the action. This is more than just a place to stay; it's where memories are made.
A perfect base for two couples hoping to explore Hobart City. There is also free WiFi throughout the apartment, as well as a Smart TV and a coffee pod machine.
Please note, this house is being rented out whilst the owner is overseas. Most personal items have been removed and are in storage, but please be respectful of their remaining personal items.
Getting around
Being so centrally located, book this apartment to save money on not hiring a car. Hobart CBD is 10 minute on foot, and there you have access to a plethora of transport, Get the ferry from the wharf to MONA, book a tour bus to Bruny Island, or grab one of the electric scooters for hire dotted all over the city.
There is free street parking available directly outside the apartment, and they are 2 hour timed spots. There is free overnight parking here between 6pm and 8am.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
If someone were to ask, what does the perfect weekend in Hobart city look like? This is what I would tell you: arrive on Friday, check in to your wonderful accommodation, then eat at one of Tassie’s iconic restaurants (Dier Makr, Fico, Tia Ama, Aloft, Templo- remember to book in advance), followed by Hobart’s bar strip in mid-town (if you’re childless, of course).
On Saturday, I would rise early and take a leisurely stroll through the Salamanca markets, where I would get a takeaway coffee and sample all the doughnuts. After this, I would drive up to the top of Mt Wellington to be blown away. On the way down, I would stop for a drink and a bowl of hot chips at the Fern Tree Tavern. If the weather is not favourable for a mountain summit, then consider attending Bonorong wildlife sanctuary in Brighton.
On Sunday, I'll be heading down to the farmers market on Bathurst Street for baked goods and freshly pressed juice. Then, MONA is of course on the cards – I’d get the ferry from the waterfront, but there is also a bus option, or a carpark on site if you'd prefer to drive. Then, I would spend the rest of the day being weirded out by the museum’s eccentricities. And there’s your perfect weekend.
Locally, you can enjoy the meandering walk along the South Hobart Rivulet and discover the historical Cascade Female Factory, as well as Hobarts iconic Cascade Brewery. Here, you can stop at the bar to sample some of the good stuff, do a brewery tour, or stop for a hearty meal. Stroll back through South Hobart strip to visit the antique shops, trendy cafes, local grocers, all in the shadow of the iconic Mount Wellington.
Mere moments on foot from your stay is the Westside laundry café, where you can do your washing and enjoy a great brunch at the same time. There’s also Hobart’s famous Pigeon Hole Bakery and Hamlet café, just down the road from your stay (on Molle Street).
