20 3rd Ave., West and first Street.Great harbor view Right in the heart of town.

A two bedroom one bath with a pull out couch. Private off road parking The house was remodeled and has a great yard with an awesome view over looking the harbor and Lake Superior.

This was My Mom and Dad’s house. We put a lot into the house and want it cared for the way we think it should.This is why we have a no dogs and kids between the ages of three and ten. Sorry about this but we have your reasons it’s not that we don’t like dogs or kids. That’s not it. We are doing no less than six night stays.
We hope you stay with us and love The View as much as our family.

The location was perfect. House was clean and worked well for our families. Wi-Fi was not working, but not really needed in a town like Grand Marais.

Great location in Grand Marais!

My sister and I stayed here while taking classes at North House Folk School. Location is great! Close to everything. We especially enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking the harbor. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is provided.

Perfect Location

This house is in a perfect location in GM! We walked all over and enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We contacted the host once with a question and he was gracious and charming and funny. Would recommend and stay here again.

This Place Is Immaculate With Perfect Location!

This very friendly owner deserves a million stars! Cleanliness is number one on our list of importance and they met all of our high standards. House is not only super clean but it’s adorable and is set in the perfect location with an incredible view. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Great View and Location

Our family had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for my family. The large living room and dinning area were great and the view of Lake Superior was the best. Walking distance to everything in town and close to hiking trails. The homeowner was very helpful.

Great Lake - Just out the window!

Beautifully remodeled “home with a view!” Everything you need is here and you’ll want to stay longer. Walk to World’s Best Donuts to start your day. Enjoy this terrific town. Mickey, the owner, also stopped by to say, “Hi” and see if we needed anything. He’s a great Ambassador and resource for his hometown GM! Makes you feel as if you have a friend in town.

The comforts of home close to town with a view

I was surprised how large the main room was, even though the photos showed it that way. Thankful for recliners and lovely view and deck. Thoughtful owner responded quickly and we even got to meet him. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the full kitchen that had condiments light ketchup and mayonnaise, etc. Right next to brewery but they close early and were never loud. Close to everything if you want to go and do, but lovely to just stay and relax there, too!

Fabulous location

This is a fabulous location. Awesome view of the lake and lighthouse. Walking distance to everything. Very clean and well stocked. Only issue is no washer or dryer despite listing indicating there was and no outdoor fireplace although it says there is one on the paper in the house. The locks on the doors are a bit tricky. None of that is a deal breaker. Overall great place and would rent again.

Beautiful Home, Great Location

Our family of four adult children stayed here during the Fisherman’s Picnic. The location was right near the heart of the celebration with beautiful views of the harbor. The owner offered us an early check in as the home was ready. It was stocked with everything we needed! The large living area accommodated more of us for board games. We highly recommend this rental for your next North Shore getaway.

Scenic view

We have stayed at many properties in Grand Marais over the past 50 years and was very happy at this home. The view was amazing both from inside and outside of the Grand Marais Harbor. The living room/dining area was huge and great for family gathering. We found everything we needed for our week long stay and communication with Mickey was great. Highly recommend this home.

Awesome North Shore Experience

We came up for the Le Grand Du Nord race. The property is right along the finish line of the race. It is walkable to everywhere in town including Java Moose, and Voyageur brewing which is right behind the property. Open floor plan in the kitchen and living room made it easy for our group to gather over meals and activities. We loved our stay and will be returning again!

Relaxing lake views

The house was clean and spacious. It was obvious the hosts had thought about what guests might need. We had a comfortable and relaxing vacation and particularly enjoyed the lake view and how easy it was to walk everywhere in town.

Grand Marais get away

We enjoyed the long weekend in Grand Marais. The house was very nice and it has a gorgeous view of the harbor and Lake Superior. Walking distance to almost anywhere you might want to go in town. The only complaint was the utensils in the kitchen for cooking was lacking.
