Re-live your summer camp memories with YMCA Camp Pepin!
Faith Cabin is located on the 40 acres of Camp Pepin, a summer resident camp. There are trails and disc golf in the back woods and 200 feet of beach to enjoy and hunt for agates. There is a fire pit designated just for you with a picnic table. We have canoes, paddle boards and kayaks, along with life jackets available for guest use. Camper cabins require that you bring your own sleeping bag or bed linens, towels, camp stoves or cook tops, pans, etc. Faith Cabin has an attached bathroom.
It was a delightful getaway with the accessibility of canoes, paddle boards, and kayaks. There were plenty of life jackets available if needed. We used the fire pit a ton and had a great time with that. We also thoroughly enjoyed some of the other on site amenities like GaGa ball and volleyball.
I would highly recommend!
We were looking to go camping this weekend but the overnight temps were a little low for our little kids, this was a great option that we stumbled upon. The host was extremely helpful and the visit felt like being back at a kids summer camp.
We're a Y! Camp loving family, and just wanted to be able to get away from the cities for a weekend. Camp Pepin was everything we wanted / needed. Considering going again soon.
We were looking for a location that forced us into nature with more comforts than camping on our own (with 2 kids under 5) and this was most definitely exceeded our expectations and was the perfect setting for us.
There was so much for our kids to do! Kayaks, paddle boards, badminton, volleyball and more. Martha was so friendly and accommodating and helped our family have a great vacation!
Our family had a wonderful time enjoying lake Pepin and this adorable cabin. Martha was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. She made our stay go smoothly by providing a toddler bed and pack n play for our two youngest children. The cabin was very clean and pleasant. We appreciated the complimentary ice, water cooler, coffee maker, large table and small grill provided. We would highly recommend a stay at camp Pepin!
Martha was amazing. Extremely accommodating and prompt with any request. We spent a week there and felt comfortable the entire time. Don't be concerned with no a/c because it was quite cool in the cabins at night in the middle of Aug. She even allowed me to use a cabin right on the water as my office for the week. All screens and windows, beautiful view. Even though it's the Mississippi river turned lake, you wouldn't know it standing there. It looks and feels like a big lake. Great for kayaking, sailing, boating, fishing, etc.
Last minute find was a wonderful week to close our summer. Martha and her team had water and ice for us and wood brought to our fire. Loved that we had a kayak and paddle board dedicated for our use. Spent days fishing and playing in camp.
Has a little bit for everyone in our group. Games, swimming, boating and rock hounding. Was in much better condition than i expected for a camp that has had thousands of kids go through it. They are taking covid seriously. After seeing the place I think the cleaning cost is well spent.
Everything was fantastic. Except for the rain on Saturday while trying to cook dinner over an open fire:)
Martha and Eric were both supper. We had a Great time.
we were all very happy and no one wanted to leave. I think if we didn't have to go to work on Monday we had enough food and would have loved to stay longer.
