My wife and I have stayed in many rentals We felt this was one of the best The location was perfect only a quarter mile from Letchworth House was well stocked and very clean The game room in the basement was amazing we highly recommended this rental Five stars !!

Great house

We just stayed for two nights while visiting colleges in the area, but the house was perfect — clean, a fun game room, comfortable beds, and a great living room to hang out in. We really liked the house, and Ron was an excellent host.

Family vacation

The property was by Letchworth State Park. Perfect location to see all the sites in the park. The place was perfect with the fire pit in the back yard. The house was the perfect size. The kids liked the pool table and ping pong table.

Great Location

The Gate House was awesome and the location was great since we wanted to spend our days in Letchworth. The house was the perfect place to return to after a day of hiking. It was quiet and very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is well-maintained and provided everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. I would highly recommend the Gate House!

Nice country stay!

This was just as advertised. Clean and comfortable, with a functionally stocked kitchen, very near a gate to Letchworth State Park. We were grateful to have wifi at the house because cell phone service was spotty in the park and nearby.

Relax

Just a lovely home and property. We spent our days at Letchworth, just around the bend, hiking. Came back to this wonderful home, warm showers, dinner and a fire in the back yard. Just perfect!!

Great House and Location

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Owner was fantastic. The house and property were cleaned well and in very good condition. The property is conveniently located just outside the Letchworth Park entrance and about 10 minutes from Downtown Perry and Silver Lake. Loved the game room in the basement except for the musty smell.

Loved out stay in the country

This rental was great. We selected it primarily for proximity to both Geneseo (our daughter was graduating from college there) and Letchworth State Park. The house was ready when we arrived. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the birds and it was a great location right next to an entrance to Letchworth. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were easy to work with and ensured we had a comfortable stay.

Awesome grand kid camp

Endless things to do.We could have just stayed on the property with more than 15 fun activities for the grandkids. We had Letchworth State Park, Silver Lake, Walcott Farm horse back riding, Drive in theater and more. The accomidations compared to our cost per night made this, our 21 annual camp, one of our most fun.

Very relaxing stay

Perfect house for our family to spend time at during spring break. The hiking at Letchworth State Park was amazing with beautiful views. We enjoyed our evenings at the house making dinner, watching movies and playing different games in the basement. Our kids favorite was the shuffleboard. Nice selection of movies, games, cards and chess set. We saw a lot of different animals in the backyard. The birds in the morning were relaxing to listen to. The property is beautiful and very private. The house was clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The large couch was perfect for our family of 5 also. Wonderful memories were made here.

Great Location for our Hiking Trip

We enjoyed this peaceful stop as a home base for our hiking adventure. The home is just feet away from one of the entrances to Letchworth State Park. It was fully equipped for us and we cook every meal. Pots, pans, etc. We slept on the bed with the adjoining bathroom and it was just ok. Plenty of bedding. The washer and dryer were helpful, detergent supplied. Bring in your own soap, shampoo, conditioner as well as your own ground coffee or coffee pods. Paper towels are there, some spices, olive oil and a bit of sugar packets.

Really enjoyed the stay at the Gate House. Located right near the entrance of Letchworth made it the perfect location for our long weekend. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We will definately book again in the future.

We loved the game room downstairs, which allowed our grandson to learn new games. Kitchen was nicely equipped and roomy. The only small downside was the house had a musty smell when we first entered and the basement was the same.Ron was a great host and quickly responded to any questions I had. The house was a great location to Letchworth and we would rent again should we come back to the park! And I would refer friends and relatives to this location.

Stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful house! Very comfortable seating -couches- beds and pillows. The house is right next to Letchworth Perry entrance of the park - made it very easy to get in for our hiking. Quiet and serene location - loved it !

Well maintained ranch with open living/kitchen area and 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Great location for Letchworth visit and close to shops in Perry. Prompt communication with owner before and during stay. Well equipped kitchen, and nice grounds. Stayed at a hotel on prior visit, glad we were able to stay at the Gate House on this trip!

We booked tbis property for older family while we had a family function at Letchworth State Park. The house was the perfect location. The yard is beautiful and relaxing. The games in the basement were fun for the grandkids when they were visiting. The first floor is set up nicely fir gathering and visiting. It was nice to have everything on one floor. We would definitely book this house again.

Owner thought of everything, I enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and lake and we had a ball in the basement playing pool, ping pong and shuffle board while watching the game. Wished we had booked it for more days, will definitely be back!

Peaceful Family Getaway

Absolutely LOVED our stay! A nice peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of life
and a chance to reconnect with family & nature. House was clean, kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need to cook, beds were SUPER comfy, big yard with amazing views and close to nature, cozy fire pit, an awesome game room in the basement, as well as being really close to Letchworth State Park. Everything was a hit with the whole family, but the pool table & campfires were the biggest hits! Host was super helpful & responsive, as well! All around 10/10 stay! Cannot wait to return!!!
