5 Star- Property is a great location. Beach is beautiful, dolphins every morning, and safe community.
We stayed here with family for a week and had a great time. The condo was plenty big for our two families, a room for each couple and the teens stayed in the room with the bunk beds. We loved the quiet mornings on the patio watching dolphins swim by. The location is convenient and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The beach in front of the condo is calm and sandy. We wished we had brought paddle boards or a kayak. There is a ton to do in the area but also just relaxing at the condo and on the beach is wonderful. Having a beach front condo made beach days so easy. No need to pack up everything you need when the condo is a few steps away. When we did venture out we loved Piedras beach for snorkeling and Ocean Sports took great care of us on our dive trip.
The place was fantastic for my group of seven. The condo is the closest one to the beach and you have splendid views from the porch. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are plenty of bath towels. There are some beach chairs, but I advise that people should bring their own. We had a wonderful time renting kayaks and snorkeling gear. We kayaked to the nearby estuary (about a 15 minute kayak trip) and watched the sunset. We also snorkeled there in the morning. You can see dolphins in the morning. At night there was luminescent plankton and the movement of your limbs sparkled under water. We could hear the dolphins clicking as well.
We had a fantastic week stay in San Carlos. The condo was delightful. Sunny and bright, beautifully decorated with color everywhere. We felt right at home immediately, everything was super comfy. Everything we needed was there for us. We ate in every night because of the abundance of fresh veggies, grilled meats and great refried beans available from Tony's market down the road. This let us enjoy every minute possible in the water and watching the gorgeous sunsets in this little bit of heaven.
All the necessary toys were available for playing, and this non-athlete became a kayaking fanatic. Who could sleep in when the dolphins were out playing in the cove, begging us to join?
We all had an amazing week. Recommend it highly for an off the beaten path getaway!
My family of three generations (4 people total) stayed here for four nights on our first trip to San Carlos. This was a wonderfully clean and well appointed rental. The location was as close to the beach as you could get, so it was convenient to go back and forth if you forgot the sunscreen or needed to grab a drink.
We cooked a lot and the kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Sharp knives too! Some essentials like paper towels, dishwashing detergent and coffee filters were lacking. It was a bit of a pain to have to pick these up as most other rentals stock these.
The bedrooms were spacious. Having two bathrooms was convenient for all the showers taken after kayaking and snorkeling. It's true that if someone is staying upstairs you can hear them.
The beach is gorgeous and the water is calm enough for young ones to enjoy. We rented kayaks and went to honeymoon island. Very cool. Bring plenty of shade - we ended up buying a canopy at Walmart in guaymas.
When we arrived we were told that we did not have a reservation - that they âdouble bookedâ. After a lot of discussion, the property manager located another unit. However, this was not the unit we reserved and was not the same location. The air conditioning in the upstairs room did not work, there were not any beach items (chairs, boogie boards, etc) the floors were not clean, no toilet paper or trash bags.
We have stayed in Spencer's place several times and it does not disappoint. The kids love all the bunk beds. And, the patio door is literally 25 feet from the beach. You can here the dolphins early in the morning and get to the beach to see them. Thanks again, Spencer.
We had a great time! Owners were amazing to work with and very understanding
Our family had a wonderful time. My only suggestion is to get a better grill, we got some shrimp and had a hard time cooking it. But everything else was amazing! We will definitely go back. Thank you
We had the best time in San Carlos and at Bahia Delfin. The condo was perfect. We will definitely be back. We stay in San Carlos and this time was our favorite.
We had a great time, the condo was right on the beach! The kids loved it. A few things to be aware of... as stated in many of the reviews, you need to make sure you bring paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc (this really should be pointed out by the owner). Also, the condo is on the edge of the complex and the adjacent beach and desert area is public. There were no problems with loud crowds (as noted in one of the reviews) but we did have some things stolen off the porch on our last night (fishing pole, tackle box, etc). Otherwise we had a wonderful time. Be sure to visit the Delfinario while you're there (it's only 10 minutes away and you can have an up-close encounter with dolphins and sea lions for a fraction of what it'd cost you in California!).
