Great location as itâs walkable to so many things. It was very clean and had everything you could need. The bathroom was on the smaller side but for two people it worked fine.
I had a great month-long stay here and by the end was wishing I had extended it to two months. Easy communication and accommodation with the owner. Excellent location that was close to everything but very quiet.
Kitchen is tight - but does the job.
This was perfect for just my daughter and I. Annie was great to work with, the space was very clean and comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. The bathroom is very small and in the kitchen, but not an issue for two of us and the small amount of time we spent in the space. Just something to be aware of. We slept great and enjoyed our time in Minnesota. Thank you!
Light bulb out in living room. Bathroom hook not secure and fell off. Long dark hair on shower wall (our hair is gray!). Horrible water pressure on shower. Water falls straight down between wall and person. Shower Faucets very hard to turn. Back door unlocked when we arrived. Bathroom is in the kitchen. Really! You could almost flip pancakes and sit on the toilet at the same time! Chair in living room had tear in the leather. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to family emergency, or I would have sought attention on these issues.
A very nice apartment on the third floor. It was decorated and equipped very well with very comfortable furniture. It was walking distance to many restaurants including Eat Street, the Minneapolis Art Institute, and the Chain of Lakes. We even walked to the sculpture garden! The hosts were very good at communicating and answering questions. I highly recommend this listing.
We truly enjoyed our stay on the second floor of this historic home in a fun and upcoming area with a lot of great restaurants and walking options. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights with our two vizslas who appreciated the fenced in backyard for quick potty breaks, but even more the Lake of the Isle dog park within walking distance (1.3 miles) through some great neighborhoods.
The property owners have done, and continue to do, a great job reinvigorating the space while preserving a lot of the amazing and historic details. Weâd definitely return if and when our travels bring us back to the area.
DO NOT STAY HERE.
This property is listed as having both heating and AC but that is a lie. You do not have control over either - this unit does not come with a thermostat and you are subject to whatever temperature your neighbor prefers.
My unit was 80 degrees upon arrival and was told to âopen a windowâ. When I woke up it was 65 degrees. When I came back home that evening the temperature had dropped to 60. The host ADMITTED FAULT and stated the other tenant had broken their thermostat but no refund would be issued. I had to vacate the property for the day because of this.
When I arrived back for my last night, the host CHANGED THE LOCKS and I could not access my unit until the local resident manager unlocked it remotely.
If your concern is safety, the front door was unlocked and open upon my arrival as well.
AVOID THIS RENTAL
Although this property was cozy and comfortable there were two âproblem â issues. One was the two, steep flights of stairs up which we needed to drag our suitcases and the other was the very tiny bathroom with a shower. The hot and cold faucets in the shower were tricky and took some coercing to prevent a scalding stream of water.
On the positive side, this apartment is conveniently located and well equipped with coffee, toiletries, etc.
Nice size apartment on top floor of house. We came back to mpls to see friends and are familiar with this location. We appreciated the multiple rooms of this apartment. Host provided some food in the fridge/pantry for us, and was responsive to texts when we needed help running the shower (the cold water valve needed to be cranked hard). The bathroom is pretty small and located in the kitchen, but the large mirror in the bedroom helped with getting ready. Kitchen appliances are great, there's a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, kuerig, and dishwasher. We enjoyed having a dining room table to eat at together. Thanks!
Annie & Andrew are great hosts! The third-floor apartment is cozy, beautifully decorated, clean, and has thoughtful touches throughout: a coffee bar; soaps, shampoo & conditioner, and a hair dryer in the bathroom; and snacks in the kitchen. Great, central location, and fun neighborhood where anything you need is within walking distance. We loved our stay, and are absolutely looking forward to staying here again! Thank you so much!
The location was close to a lot of wonderful restaurants and a decent drive to the mall and outlet! Annie was super easy to get a hold of and was so accommodating! We love love loved it here!
We rented this adorable apartment because we had to have the wood floors in our home refinished. Annie was amazing and even gave us an extension to our stay as we needed an extra night! Clean comfy and walking distance to anything you may need. Thank you Annie!
We had a wonderful stay here, very easy to get to and even better in person. Short distance from many restaurants and grocery stores! The bed is SO comfortable and itâs such a charming loft, highly recommend
We had a great time. The place is adorable, clean, and in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. We would love to go back again sometime!
Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful property in a lovely neighborhood. Annie and Andy, are wonderful hosts. The property was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. I am very excited to return in August.
