A quiet country getaway, nestled among trees in a park-like setting, the North Coast Lodge is in western Erie County PA, adjacent to a community park and just 1500â away from Lake Erie. Our family friendly, ranch style, 2 bedroom/1 bath home is fully furnished and tastefully decorated for a comfortable stay year-round. The lodge can sleep 6 comfortably, utilizing the sleep sofa. No matter what brings you to the North Coast of Pennsylvania, our location is ideal.
Great location and comfortable stay. Appealed to us as everything is on one floor and nicely decorated. Across from a cafe, next to an ice cream shop and lovely park right beside the property. Good concerts there in the summer. About 25 minutes from Presque Isle but an easy drive. Would recommend
The communication with the owner was smooth. The house was clean and neat. It was cozy vibes. It was quiet and peaceful. The owner provided lots of ideas to do in the area which was appreciated. We would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our brief stay and appreciated the well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and plentiful suggestions for restaurants and sights. The location was wonderful for exploring the Erie lakefront, including Erie Bluffs and the Community Park next door that has amazing views. The house is decorated with interesting, eclectic wall decor, adding to the cozy feel. And of course we loved the Coffee Trail in the back yard!
Everything was great.Host a super person.House was like home away from home.So clean all you could ask for well stocked.Close to everything Erie has to offer.
So much good to say and nothing bad. Let me just say that thereâs nothing better than âHomeâ. Sandy (property manager) made it possible with comfort. Everything we have at home was there at the Cabbage (Cottage, my grandson called it the cabbage so it stuck with us). Coffee, sugar, trash bags, toiletries, towelsâŠetc. It was like we never left âhomeâ. An awesome location for our plans of fishing in various places. Absolutely the best time Iâve spent there. The family talked, joked, cried, and shared. No different than being at âhomeâ. Thanks to Sandy providing a home like environment, our stay was a memory that is intangible. She informed me in plenty of time of what I needed to know so that I had no worries or concerns. We cannot recommend her respectful professionalism enough. This past weekend is very difficult to beat but I like a challenge and we are definitely looking forward to staying there again.Rich
Such a beautiful location. You feel like you are away from everything but you are not. 10 min walk and you can be a a lovely park, with beautiful scenery, or a brewery with great food and to top it off there is a dollar general a half mile away. Lol. House is clean and well kept. Communication with owner is excellent.. will definitely be on my list to go again.
House is immaculate and so lovely. Furniture and decor just like in my mother's growing up in the 60s and 70s. Yard and trail were both wonderful, as well. I'm only sorry I couldn't stay for longer than 2 days. We will return!
We loved the house we stayed in. It was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Best of all is was on one floor. Everything we needed was provided including a washer and dryer and game room downstairs. It was a short drive from Presque Isle which is why we rented it and also convenient to many other things. Communication with the host was good and easy. We are definitely thinking of renting there again next year.
The house is like a home away from home. So warm and comfortable.
All the things you can ask for. Well stocked.
Very clean.
Very close to everything.
Hostess is such a nice caring person
Had everything we need.We loved that it was right up against the state park.Walking distance to an ice cream shop and a brewery But far enough away from everything else. Had a nice fire pit outside. Downstairs in the basement you had a ping pong table and a card table. It's not walking distance to everything, but you're close enough within 20 minutes and the price was great. Host was quick to respond and very accommodating
Sandra is excellent to work with and responsive the whole time during our trip with questions. Just wish the weather was as nice as the rental for our fishing expeditions.
Another enjoyable fishing weekend stay. The host informed me in ample time that the facility was all set for our arrival. Arrived there to a very clean home setting which made our stay very relaxing. So relaxing that we decided to not fish our last day there and sit around and talk over breakfast, coffee, and a âhomeâ style atmosphere. Any âOld Schoolâ people should understand the comfort of home, and thatâs just what it was. Our appreciation for having us again and will definitely book and recommend it in the future.

Twice a year my kids and I travel to Erie to fish. It didnât work out for us at the location we normally stay at, so I decided (wifeâs idea) to give VRBO a shot. Turns out it was a great decision. Host was on top of it when communicating. Great location for our fishing adventures. The house/cottage was very clean and spacious for the 4 adults and one 7 year old grandchild. My only complaint is who put a full size window in the shower and not have blinds or something to block out anyone from looking in? Other than that we intend on staying there again. Hopefully the window thing is fixed.

Location, location, location! I abut the beautiful Lake Erie Community Park. What a perfect place to relax. My backyard is a public park that has almost a mile of Lake Erie bluff line. Eagles fly over a lot, while catching fish in the lake. I'm very close to the world renown fishing sites, Elk Creek & Walnut Creek besides boating on Lake Erie. I felt it was a great opportunity to share with vacationers through VRBO or Airbnb.
