Donât know where to start! This historic 4th floor beauty has it all, the view of rooftops over the medieval town centre, 16th century beams giving this unit such beautiful charm. There were still Christmas decorations adorning the apartment giving extra special ambience. Everything we were looking for to experience old town France! Our hosts were very welcoming and Hadrien even gave us a private of the catacombs and wine cellar
We had a very relaxing stay in the medieval city of Auxerre, near to all you want to visit. A charming apartment in perfect condition. With everything you could wish for: much space, parking for the car, and in the morning breakfast with fresh baguette and pain au chocolat.
Booked as a one night around a week away near Montbard. Amazing place and could have stayed longer. Great self contained space where you could easily spend a week. Got there late with delays so having food and wine we could buy when everything was closed was brilliant. Stay here it is everything it looks and more
This is a funky, well-apportioned, and well-outfitted space in the middle of a late medieval warren of city streets. It is close to the major religious sites and river Yonne, and around the corner from restaurants, shops, and a great littel Monoprix supermarket. It is in a cool converted 18th century wine loft, with clean and modern furnishings, AC, and includes wine and drinks available for purchase; tea, coffee and cocoa are complimentary. The owner Hadrien is efficient, speaks good English, and has everything covered. The town is a little gritty without being unsafe. The sites are less touristed and set amidst a real working small French city. This is real France, not the canned France of Paris or Avignon, and well worth the visit.
I loved staying here. The apartment is very comfortable and secure, with a beautiful blend of old and new. The host is gracious and helpful, gave me excellent recommendations in French and English. Convenient for walking anywhere in town. I would absolutely stay here again!
