Appartement type loft d'enregistrement VT-36453-V

Appartement d'une chambre double. Avec sa propre terrasse. Il se trouve au premier étage d'une maison composée d'un rez-de-chaussée et d'un village de pêcheurs avec des bâtiments traditionnels du siècle dernier, avec une prédominance de maisons indépendantes d'une ou deux hauteurs maximum. Il a été entièrement rénové en 2012 et nous avons essayé de respecter autant que possible l'originalité de la maison, en préservant les plafonds en bois et en briques typiques ainsi que l'escalier en bois menant à la terrasse avec le placard et les armoires. Les portes coulissantes en bois qui sont également originales et datent de 1920. L'appartement dispose de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable et autonome.
Il n'y a pas de zones communes. La porte de la rue mène directement à l'appartement et est à usage privé.

La zone est en pleine restructuration et devient un quartier d'avenir dans lequel de nombreux travailleurs indépendants, de petites entreprises et une offre culturelle et gastronomique croissante sont en cours d'installation.
En fait, au numéro 159 (la maison juste à côté de l'appartement), il y a un bar / restaurant «Mar D'Amura - Gastro Home» récemment ouvert (mars 2017) où vous pouvez manger des plats espagnols, gastronomiques internationaux ou végétariens. variété et excellents tapas typiques.
Tout cela sur votre terrasse privée où vous pourrez continuer à profiter du beau temps et à côté de l'appartement.
La plage Arenas est à cinq minutes à pied.
Le marché typique de Cabañal est également à cinq minutes à pied. Vous pourrez y trouver toutes sortes de plats et ressentir l’atmosphère typique de la valence traditionnelle du marché de la pêche, avec son poisson frais, ses fruits, ses légumes, etc.
Il est également très proche (environ 10-15 minutes à pied) de la récente marina de la «America's Cup», ainsi que du restaurant traditionnel spécialisé dans le riz, comme «La Pepica» ou «La Marcelina» sur la plage.

À votre arrivée, vous trouverez ce dont vous avez besoin pour prendre un café, du thé ou similaire, de l'eau minérale et des fruits. Juste comme tout ce qui est nécessaire et nous avons demandé à l'avance.
Et si vous manquez quelque chose, nous sommes à votre disposition pour réparer avant ou pendant votre séjour.

Lovely traditional apartment

This authentic apartment with creative decor & tranquil rooftop terrace is conveniently located for the beach, numerous quality local restaurants, supermarket & metro network. Our host Emilio made us feel very welcome and was accessible for any queries. He even left us a beautiful cake as part of a welcome pack. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Best hosts and beautiful flat

The hosts are super people, very welcoming and incredibly informative and go way beyond what any host anywhere would do to make their guests feel comfortable and at home. The flat is gorgeous and the roof deck is the icing on the cake. The location of the flat is convenient to the beach and the city and the neighborhood has everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very, very. highly recommend this special flat and its marvelous hosts to any and everyone. Bravo Emilio and Jose!

An absolute gem

A small but amazing apartment in a great location. The roof terrace is an oasis which was great to sit with drinks. The hosts are amazing,really helpful and accommodating. Parking was limited so we parked in the local car park which has to be paid in advance to get the reduced rate. The transport links into the city were great and the local area really interesting. Look out for the rice museum.

A superb apartment

The apartment was superb for a stay for 2 people, in a very good location for the beach, local shops and market as well as easy access to public transport. Everything had been thought of and was provided. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well during a very hot spell. Emilio welcomed us on arrival, explaining everything and he kept in touch throughout our 10 day stay, always available to answer questions, with the bonus that his English was excellent. The many extras he provided for our arrival - cheese platter, wine, water, beer and pastries, were all very much appreciated. Thanks again Emilio & Jose.

Perfect!

We stayed for one week in the appartment and it was just great! The lessor was really nice, he picked us up at the Airport and gave us a lot of tips to explore the city. Besides we had free Wifi and the flat was very clean. When we arrived. the lessor also had bought some essential things for us which was very helpful. José and Emilio also were really kind an friendly, for example as we arrived one day later because our flight was cancelled, they felt sorry and gave us the payed money back.. At the end, we can't imagine a better stay! Thanks for everything!

Valencia Gem in El Cabanyal

To summarize Jose & Emilio's casa in El Cabanyal would take pages, but I will try: PROs: This is not an impersonal hotel or IKEA nuetral house. It is a home. It is in a great location with tram/metro access, closeness to amazing Public Market, and completely within the barrio of El Cabanyal- a village within a city. Bed, bath, kitchen, roof top terrace (Azotea) were very, very comfortable, superbly functioning despite being compact, beautiful and amazing (On the nights with the fireworks -Mascleta- I slept with ear plugs, but my husband did not and we both slept like babies! Windows are excellent!). The Azotea is like the Garden of Eden high above the world - we ate there every night and every morning. The house has been carefully and wonderfully restored. The space feels completely, authentically, Spanish, or, in this case, Valenciano. In particular, the kitchen and living area feel and work like a great home should: all tools I needed, glassware, utensils and knives, range (Hob), fridge, coffee machine, micro, and washing machine all were easy to use. Never ran out of hot water, lighting throughout house is excellent, ACs worked quietly and perfectly on the hot nights. The hosts, Emilio y Jose, are like family you haven't seen in ages, but adore. They greeted us upon arrival with wine, cheese and jamon which was so kind and we were so hungry!!! Because of Covid, Valencia was not able to have their annual Falla Festival since spring of 2019, but they had moved it to the weekend of our arrival. 2 weeks before we left the US we had never even heard of Las Fallas, but during our check-in Jose offered to take us around on the grand final day to tour and see the incredible Fallas throughout the old town and beyond. It was the best tour we have ever had and we've hired professional guides in other countries! (And Jose doesn't speak English and our Spanish is terrible!!! Yet we understood each other perfectly (most of the time:)). Muy bueno! Muy Chullo, Jose!!!!! If you like a review with CONs - negatives- here they are: If you are a very big person, you may find the shower crowded; if you are afraid of heights, you may not like the stairs up to the Azotea. If you expect travel to take you to immaculately clean and sterile places, El Cabanyal is not for you. But otherwise, after 30 years of renting other people's cabins, houses, apartments, studios, lodges and flats, we have to say that Jose y Emilio's Casa en El Cabanyal is muy perfecto! Bueno!

Lovely Little Gem

Let me start off by saying don't let the neighborhood put you off of this surprising little hideaway- looks are definitely deceiving. It is an old neighborhood and it shows, but I never felt at all unsafe when walking even late at night and aside from loud downstairs neighbors it was a wonderful stay. It all began with Emilio who was such a warm host. He personally met us and greeted us with a bottle of wine and pastries which was very thoughtful. He quickly and patiently responded when we forgot how the front door lock system worked, offered many suggestions and directions to nearby points of interest, and even tipped us off to a local pop-up street market that was taking place a few streets over. The apartment itself was well furnished and decorated and within easy walking to the beach, transit, and other food and shopping, but the true icing on the cake was the rooftop terrace! What a beautiful surprise that you wouldn't normally expect. It is clear that much work and passion went into this space that feels more like a home than a rental.

The apartment, and our hosts, could not be better

Of the five VRBOs we stayed in during our three week trip to Spain (we also stayed in some hotels), this one was the best. We had never been to Valencia, and we really enjoyed being so close to the beach. The apartment was fully stocked, the welcome gifts rocked!, and Jose and Emilio could not have been nicer! We would absolutely stay here again!

Gut gelungener Urlaub

Eine einzigartige Wohnung in spanischem Still, gut saniert, in guter Lage in 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Sandstrand und 20 Minuten Fahrt zur Altstadt. Insbesondere Eine Terrasse im 2. Stock mit mehreren Pflanzen ist sehr willkommend und attraktiv. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, hat sich um uns gekümmert. Die ganze Kommunikation war sehr angenehm. Einfach zur Info: es gibt keine Spülmaschine und keinen Trockner. Das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Die Wäsche trocknete in Paar Stunden auf dem Balkon. Ich kann die Wohnung gerne weiter empfehlen.

Charming home with rooftop garden conveniently located

This property and its wonderfully welcoming owners are the best in our book. Emilio and Jose were so helpful and kind, that their home felt liken our home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and can’t wait to go back. But book early, as it fills up fast. The neighborhood is friendly, close restaurants and very close to the beach, rail and bus. Enjoyed Our Stay in Valencia for Honeymoon

The house was conveniently located in an area that is very residential, yet close to amazing restaurants and bars; close to the beach; and close to the city center. It was quiet, peaceful and easy to walk everywhere. The upstairs garden terrace was magical and we spent several nights drinking wine and gazing at stars up there. We rented bikes from Monzo bike, just a few blocks away, and rode the entire riverbed park from start to finish. The best part was the recommendation from the hosts (Emilio and Jose) to get reservations next door at mar d’amura for a flemenco show and dinner, which they made for us! They also left us wine and beer which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Valencia!

A Valencian Oasis

The accommodation is superb, located close to the beach and with great transport options into town. Jose and Emilio were the perfect hosts ensuring we had the most up to date recommendations to enjoy the best of Valencia. The roof top terrace is a masterpiece with areas created for sun worshipers, dining and eating al fresco. Thoroughly recommend it.

WE couldn't have asked for more, everything we needed for a great holiday was at hand.

This apartment is the best we have ever stayed at, everything we needed was there, we were also given wine and cheese on our arrival, all the info on the area and beach towels and a beach umbrella. Emilio and Jose were just along the street so if we had needed anything they were close to hand. The kitchen was fully equiped and there are great markets nearby and the roof terrace was just perfect for chilling. Would definatly go again couldn't ask for more, deco was loverly with lots of fine detail. We were able to leave our luggage at the apartment during the day as our flight was late and when we collected it Jose kindly offered us a lift to the airport which was unexpected. A very safe area lots of character. Loved it, Nicci.

Buenos dias Emilio & Jose, muchas gracias por todo! I had a wonderful time at your lovely loft. You did a great job renovating with lots of knowledge, good taste and love. It is a beautifil place, you made sure that there is all comfort you can wish for and it's clean and it smells lovely. The bed is excellent with firm mattress! The roof terrace is a dream, I enjoyed the sun up there every morning. I hired a bike around the corner and went on sight seeing (20 min by bike to city center). Very good (fish)restaurants nearby. I already recommend your house to all my friends & family and I will defenitely come back to enjoy your place! Your company and good care felt so warm also, you are the best hosts you can wish for! Amazing house and nice location

A fantastic house! All you need for a great holiday, and the roof terrasse is superb. Lots of nice details and the apartment is very practical. You live among locals, and the area feels authentic and safe. Many nice restaurants and bars nearby, and only few minutes walk to the beach! It is also provided beach towels and umbrella! The owners give you a personal welcomming, they are absolutely the best hosts ever! We had the vest vacation ever!

Fantastic apartment and fantastic hosts!

This was a wonderful place to stay and Emilio and José were superb hosts. Beautiful home in a great part of Valencia (Cabanyal). Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Emilio and José have made the most comfortable and homely apartment - on arrival we were greeted with a full fridge containing water, beer, wine and soft drinks, fruit in a bowl and guidebooks/maps made available was a nice touch. They made my husband and I feel most welcome. The beautiful terrace was a major plus - the photos don't do it justice! I highly recommend staying here and we will be back! Thank you Emilio and José.

Ein ganz besonderer Ort

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche in der Wohnung von José und Emilio verbracht. Die Wohnung ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht, sogar Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Strandtücher Sonnenmilch sind vorhanden.Auch waren zum Empfang ein paar Kleinigkeiten im Kühlschrank, sowie etwas zu Trinken und eine Schale Obst. Der Empfang durch Emilio war sehr herzlich und er war immer bereit zu helfen wenn es notwendig war. Am meisten haben wir die wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit den vielen Pflanzen genossen und wir haben jede Mahlzeit oben verbracht. Es war wie im eigenen Garten. Vielen vielen Dank für diesen ganz besonderen Ort. Merci beaucoup à José et Emilio pour ces vacances extraordinaires dans cet appartement merveilleux. Doro und Benno Salzgeber

By the beach

Emilio and Jose are the perfect hosts. They greeted us as promised, showed us the unit (with great pride), gave us a description of the neighborhood and offered many great tips to make our stay fantastic. They provided everything they promised and more. They definitely went the extra steps for us; helping us with an issue beyond their control, for which we are very grateful. The apartment is as great as it looks and we enjoyed the cozy well appointed rooftop in the evenings. It is well appointed, well maintained and very clean. My only small caution is that you make sure that you are comfortable with the location. While it is a very safe place, it is in an part of town that is improving and not yet as pretty as old town. This place is a good value and I would recommend it.

Un accueil des plus chaleureux de la part de José et Emilio. D'emblée, vous êtes chez vous dans un décor raffiné, une terrasse dont les photos sont le parfait témoignage. Tout est facile et pratique. Les commerces, le transport, la plage sont à 5 minutes à pied. C'est vraiment l'endroit idéal pour profiter pleinement de la vie à Valence, de revenir chez soi en pleine forme en se disant : "C'était vraiment bien!". Merci encore à José et Emilio pour la qualité de leur hospitalité, leur générosité.

Accueillis chaleureusement par José et Emilio, on se sent être chez nous tant les photos sont fidèles à ce que l'on s'attend à trouver. D'emblée on se sent bien, à l'aise dans cet appartement loft avec terrasse très raffiné, climatisé et disposant de toutes les commodités. De plus, tout est aisé puisque les commerces, restaurants, transports (bus 19 pour le centre ancien de Valence) et plage sont à moins de cinq minutes à pied. Cet ensemble fait que vous revenez chez vous en vous disant : "C'était vraiment bien !". Encore un grand merci à José et Emilio pour la qualité de leur hospitalité. Brigitte et Serge
