Great stay at Blairâs Bungalow. We had excellent docking for 36â boat with water at the dock. Rented a golf cart and adventured all over the island. Green Turtle was our favorite spot in the Abacos. Will definitely return.
While our stay was short this was a great experience. Thank you so much for helping us on our trip to Green Turtle Cay! We will definitely stay again and appreciate everything so much!!
We to GTCf for a quick last minute fishing trip. The dock was a plus boat captain and ferry picked up and dropped off from the dock. Location is very close to town. Corner shower was a little on the small side but the king bed was so comfy!! We would definitely stay again!
We rented both sides of the duplex and it was perfect for our two families with teens. The dock and ability to keep a boat on site was great. The responsiveness of the host was amazing. One day it rained and the power went out and the host had games brought to us when we asked if there were any. The kitchen had everything we needed and we prepared several meals. The location is great and we just loved this island! We will definitely be back!
Very nicely appointed with everything we needed (except a tea kettle⊠lol). Loved the blackout blinds in the bedrooms. Air conditioning worked well. Towels were super soft and clean. Location close to AYS worked well for us. We also enjoyed a bit of TV and the availability of Netflicks.
Having grown up in the beautiful Wenatchee valley on the Columbia River in Washington State then moving to bush Alaska in my early 20's I've always loved the Pacific Northwest. When I met my husband in the tundra town of Bethel in Alaska, I had no idea that I'd eventually develop such a passion for the tropics as well. You see he grew up in the Florida Keys area but moved to Alaska in his 20's to work in construction. Along the way we became owners & hosts at Alaska's most remote fishing lodge - Alaska's Anvik River Lodge and have developed it into one of Alaska's premier fishing vacation destinations. That was 25 years ago.
Once our children were grown, we started traveling to the Abacos for a few months during the winters and we fell in love with this quaint, lovely & historic place. We love the beaches, fishing and friendly folks you meet here in Green Turtle Cay. We're looking forward to retiring in a few years and figured what better place?
We've had an adventurous life so far and we hope you'll join us as the adventure continues!
Having been in the hospitality business for almost a quarter century and receiving 5 star review for our remote Alaska lodge, we've developed a passion for sharing unique destinations with guests and friends alike. When the opportunity to purchase the Russell Estate on Black Sound came up, we jumped on it. It's a beautiful piece of property that we started restoring when Dorian hit. Weâre finished with Blairâs Bungalow and Alyâs Hideaway and are working on our personal residence which is also located on the property. plan to restore and upgrade over the next few years. The property is a little over 1/2 acre and stretches from Black Sound to the road. While we will still be running our Alaskan fishing lodge for a few more summers, rest assured that when we're not here in person to greet you, our very capable associates Julie or Dawn will greet you and take care of any questions you might have.
