Nancy and John were extremely communicative, generous and hospitable. Their home is spacious, updated, and clean. The view of Torch directly from the front porch didnât disappoint, too.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage!! We met the owners and they were super friendly and helpful! It was only my daughter and me on this trip, so there was plenty of space and it was nice having separate bathrooms.
Extremely clean house on a very quiet road. Kitchen was stocked with all needed cookware to have multiple stay at home meals. The beds were very comfortable. The owners quickly responded to questions. We would definitely stay there again.
Our stay was awesome. The owners were great, very helpful, and quick to answer any questions. The cottage is right across the street from the shore and itâs well stocked, clean and very well taken care of. We will be back in the future. Try this place out, you wonât be sorry!
We had a great time at this house! It was very family friendly and the owners were across the street if we needed anything. They even offered to let our kids swim off their beach. The house had everything needed for cooking big breakfasts and even baked a birthday cake. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there were plenty of towels as well.
We rented kayaks two doors down and the guy was so nice! He let us use his back yard with all our kids and giant dog. Everyone in the area was so kind helping us find our way. The lake is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
The cottage is very close to the Barnes campground where my brother was spending the week. It was very close to the Torch Lake and easily accessible to grocery, restaurants and farm stands. The boat launch beach was perfect to hangout and watch the sunset. The cottage was well equipped for cooking. We were very comfortable. The one bedroom with 4 bunks was where we had 3 people sleeping and my 87 year old mother got the separate bedroom with queen bed. Bathrooms were fine, plenty of hot water. The parking was good for three cars and neighborhood was quiet. There is a kayak/canoe rental right down from the house that we did a 1/2 day on beautiful Torch Lake.
This rental was very clean and itâs central location makes day trips quick and easy. We travel with a 16â boat so we always need a good place to park it and this home offered ample parking for our trailer and car. The owners were generous and kind. Although we didnât end up using it, they offered us the use of their mooring ball for our boat during our stay. This is a gem of a property and location!
We love Torch Lake and we love sharing it with family and friends. Our Wak-Wing cottage has been a family retreat for us and we hope it becomes a favorite place for your family as well. We are often staying nearby (in the cottage just in front with the Airstream) and can help by sharing many of our favorite local places and the many ways to enjoy beautiful Torch Lake. Just let us know how we can help!
